Ancient Rome/Greece/Macedonia/Etc. RP Anyone?

Hey all! I was wondering if anyone would be interested in one if these. I've never roleplayed in this setting, so it will be an adventure. I was thinking Thermopylae, Sabis, something that has a large against a small. You can play for either side in this once they are decided. Anyone?

*sigh* I have tried many times to get people into a Rome Rp but it always fails at launch

What about Greece or Macedonia? Everybody knows that togas are better than tunics.

I said I don't know much about Greece but I know enough to know that 300 is fairly inaccurate.

Anyway it has no story what so ever

300 is loosely based on that event but if the OP wants to an RP in that world or like it, rather than a more historic based one he or she just needs to make that clear.

I saw 300: Rise of an Empire the other day, it was awesome but no I wouldn't use it for any sort of historical context. Those movies and graphic novels they're based on are in the realm of historical fantasy.

I meant 300 as a joke. We can do a little mix between movie and real life. Like, epic quotes and kills and stuff but with the actual battle plan.
