If you don't want to be taken in for questioning you will stand down." She stated as she pulled another Kunai knife and prepared to stab Kai through the leg.

as he and Seranai were about to leave the Leaf Village far behind, Maiko saw that Kai was not too far behind them and saw that he was being chased by Konoha ninja. it was then that Maiko decided he would not just ran away while his friend was being hunted down by a Konoha scumbag. he turned around and ran back towards Kai with at full speed. he wasn't sure if it was the smartest decision for him a genin to up against a fully trained shinobi, but he had to help Kai. when he was several yards away from Zarila, Maiko made the signs for one of his Jutsus and he shouted, "Water Release: Water Shark Bullet!"

water formed around his arm and turned into a shark made of the liquid. he shoved his fist in her direction and the shark flew towards her, its shark teeth ready to bite into the Konoha shinobi.

"Well excuse me for not caring about someone about to get stabbed." The arrow flies, and slices the kunai in half, making it useless. Kisame noticed the other one, and smiled. He draws his bow back, and another arrow aims to graze Zarila's arm. He then opens his hands, whispers "Blade of Wind" while discreetly doing hand signs with his pinky and ring finger, and two disk shapes of wind show up. He does a spin, and after picking up some velocity, throws the disks at Zarila.

Zarila was forced to jump back, giving Kai enough time to breath a sigh of relief now that the explosive tag was away from him and hopefully the psycho woman would stay away from him now that she was facing two opponents.

Zarila easily managed to dodge the two discs and made a series of hand signs and a blazing fireball erupted from her mouth which gave her enough time to move out of the way of the shark bullet. "That was one of my favorite knives." She said with narrowed eyes as she stared at the one with the bow. "You just made my list.*
