Willow slowly walked towards the train that would take her to the gate. Abnegation and Erudite. And just what is Divergent, I've never heard of it before. She thought to herself as she walked down the road. She knew her brother would be angry at her for just up and leaving like that with no explanation but she was kind of glad that the women told her to leave; it gave her time to think about what happened. She sighed, rubbing her forehead as she walked.

Jason left the building and just walked. Straight back towards the Erudite sector. I'm leaving finally, I got the highest score for dauntless. I'm going to dauntless! a wave of relief passed through him, quickly followed by a wave of terror. I'm a divergent. My own family will be trying to kill me no matter where I go. I have to leave and stay low. He thinks.

---- Choosing Ceremony ----

Jason sat bored wearing his best Erudite blue at the ceremony. His mother next to him constantly reminding him of the fact that soon he will join her in being a full member of erudite. He just ignored her and waited. Soon. 'Jason Matthews' His name rang out. The boy stood up and walked towards the center, where the stage was sloped up to the pillars holding the bowls. In front of them sat the knife, Jason knew what to do. His fingers closed around the cold metal of the blade. He picked it up and made a small enough incision to draw blood with the cool steel. He raised his hand over the bowl with the coals in it and squeezed, letting the blood fall into the bowl. He picked up a bandage and turned. A soft gasp echoed. The first faction transfer, and it was Jeaninne Matthews' son. His mother looked like somebody had run her through with a spear, then the Dauntless erupted in cheers. Jason smiled as he was given a seat in the front row to watch the rest of the ceremony. Knowing all eyes were on him, especially those of somebody close to him, he desperatly searched the Amity group to find Willow's gaze

Willow meet Jason's eyes and gave him a small smile. "William Greyson."

Willow watched as her brother ascended to the stage and picked up the knife. He quickly nicked his palm before facing the bowls. He reached out without hesitation and dropped his blood into the Dauntless bowl, a small sizzle filling the silent room as the drop fell onto the hot stones.

Willow heard a choking noise to her right and she looked over at her parents. Her mother and father were staring at her brother in disbelief and shock. Then the Dauntless cheered and her brother joined their ranks, all without glancing once at his family. Then it was Willow's turn. She stood on shaky legs and slowly walked down the stairs and to the stage. Her mind was running on circles as she picked up the knife, her hand trembling as she rested the blade against her palm. She cut herself and held her hand out, biting her lip. She squeezed her eyes shut and dripped her blood into the Amity bowl.

She couldn't make her parents suffer through the loss of two children. As she went to sit back down by her parents she looked over at her brother then avoided his disappointed gaze.

Jason watched William join thier ranks and raised an eyebrow. "Quite a transition don't you think?" Jason murmered softly to the boy. Soon the ceremony was over, and everybody filed out. Then the dauntless started running. Jason sturggled to keep up, his nice outfit slowing him down. But he kept running. He studied the way the dauntless moved towards the outside of the road, they were planning to they were planning to climb the supports! Jason followed, climbing the supports just as well as the others did, having watched the dauntless climb before. The boy stood on top of the tracks, staring at the train coming towards him. The others ran. So Jason ran with them. He pulled himself into the train. This was dauntless

Willow watched her brother file out with the other Dauntless members but then her mother put an arm around the girl and the small family began walking out of the building, back towards the Amity compound. Willow couldn't stop herself from looking back and she saw the Dauntless members run off. Somewhere in that group were her brother and Jason. She felt tears prick her eyes before she shook her head and faced forward.

Jason sat and stared out the window of the train as it raced through the city. But soon he heard people jumping. The dauntless were jumping onto a roof, and hell they were high up. Jason felt his fear of heights flare up but pushed them down, then he backed up to the wall and ran, throwing'himself free from the train on to the roof, he rolled and pain seared in his arms as he got scraped and bruised. But he had made it. Jason pushed himself up and stumbled forward, towards the edge where a dauntless man was standing

William took a deep breath and flung himself from the train, skidding along the roof. He picked himself up, dusted himself off then joined the people crowding around a man.

Willow looked up from her lap as they reached the Amity compound. It was going to feel different in their house with just three people living there now. She sighed and looked at the fence in the distance, feeling a yearning to be with those she loved. But..she owed it to her parents. She sighed once more and jumped down from the truck.

Jason listened through the speech about how they have to jump off of the roof. Jason volunteered first. He walked to the edge of the room and jumped straight over the edge falling down into the hole and hitting the net

Willow sighed as she listened that she would join the initiates in the fields. She smiled at her parents softly as she hopped into the truck that would take them to the fields. Everyone soon got to work as singing filled the air.

Jason looked around the strange area as he was led through the dauntless compound. They were shown thier quaters, and changed into a dauntless uniform. He walked alone down the halls of the dauntless compound, since it was thier free time. Soon night came and Jason went to sleep. He was woken by the sound of a metal cup banging on the rail, thier trainer (a man named four), looked at them. "Initiates, I want everybody in the pit. Five minutes" He says and leaves. They all scrambled to get ready

Willow smiled at a joke one of the Amity initiates, laughter filling the air around them as they road in the truck that was taking supplies into the city. Soon singing replaced the laughing and Willow closed her eyes as a wind gently blew her hair around her face.

Jason trained hard as the dauntless talked about being put out into the factionless if they failed, so the boy made sure that he ended up being ranked number one. Soon, the dauntless leader named Eric called him and some other boy who was bigger and more muscular than Jason up. They were told to fight. As jason brought up'his fists, analysis of the fight ran through his head. The overconfident look on the boy's face was enough, Jason knew this boy would think this an easy match. He knew how to win. A loud pound echoed as the boy stepped forward. And Jason inched back. Towards the edge of the mat, and down the stairs. The other boy let down his guard. "scared? Nerd." He taunted. Jason just grinned. "Nah just getting my way." He said and immdiatley sprung forward, using the steps to catapult himself into the air. He brought his fist down hard and fast as he fell. Into the boy's face. A wild kick lashed out but Jason caught it and drove the boy to the gound. The boy fell unconcious almost immdiatley. Jason had won the match in under 30 seconds. The dauntless leader was even impressed

Soon they arrived into the city and Willow hopped down to begin helping load the other Faction trucks with the supplies. The Amity members continued to sing and some of them were even dancing. Willow just smiled, shook her head and reached up to take a bag before carrying it over to the Dauntless truck. Her mind immediately went to her brother and Jason and she wondered how they were fairing.

*Le time skip*
Jason stood on the train, now a full born dauntless member, and elite one at that, went out on his temporary assignment until the team he would be permenantly assigned to was assmebled, he wore a heavy pistol on his hip, a grappling hook on his left arm powerful enough to pull a person to the top of a building, or allow a person to swing between buildings. Or tear a person apart. A hatchet sat in its holster on his hip and a sniper was slung on his back. He wore a sleeveless shirt so his muscular arms and tattoo on each arm of a snake curling down his arm with its mouth wide open like it was about to strike on the top of his hand. His black pants were tucked into his combat boots. He stepped off his train into the fields of the amity compound, and immediately began guarding the outside.

Willow sang softly to herself as she finished loading the last of the supplies into the truck. It was quiet. Since there wasn't mush left she had told the others to go get lunch while she finished up. Her snow white hair was down and blowing softly in the breeze, the color shining in the sun. She turned to face the fields, taking in the peacefulness of it. She saw a black figure standing on the outskirts and she shaded her eyes, trying to see who it was.

At that moment a large factionless man came running out of his hiding spot and tried to swing his knife at Willow, there was the sound of metal hitting metal and a few fingers breaking, then the sound of two objects hitting the dirt. In the rows next to the man lay the knife, and a hatchet that had been thrown. The a black figure slammed into the factionless man. Knocking him to the ground. Jason mounted the man, using his legs to pin the man's arms, and pulled his pistol from its holster. "Surrender or lose your head." He said calmly. The factionless put up his arms, and jason produced two zip ties. Made of reinforced plastic so they couldn't be broken. Jason rolled the man over and tied his wrists together. Jason pulled him up and pushed him into the two dauntless that were going to escort him to the jail. He turned to the girl, after picking up his hatchet and returning it to his holster. He grabbed the combat knife and slid it into an empty knife holster on his left shoulder. "Are you ok- Oh. Willow. Hey." Jason said as his cheeks heated up and he looked at the girl

Willow let out small cry and stumbled back when the man came running at her. She watched, wide-eyed as the figure in black slammed into the factionless man. When the ma was arrested and handed off to two other Dauntless and the figure in black turned to her she was surprised to see that it was Jason. She almost threw herself into his arms but she hesitated, not knowing what the other Dauntless members would think. She gave him a small smile, slightly shaken up from her scare. "I-I'm fine."

Jason grabbed her and pulled Willow into a tight hug. "Come here, I got you. Its okay. I know they scared you." Jason said softly as he hugged willow, knowing that she would appreciate the gesture from him.

Willow hugged him back tightly, burying her face against his chest as she enjoyed being in his arms again. She didn't care anymore if others saw, all she cared about was never leaving the safety of Jason's embrace.

Jason happily hugged Willow. "Lets go find a private place to talk." He whispers quietly and kisses her cheek. Interlacing his fingers with Willow's. Jason knew she would want to talk and everything. So he might as well'go find a place to talk
