Bruce groaned in pain, before he sniffed the air. "Damn it max why the hell do I smell venom in your blood?" He shut his eyes tight, before he grabbed his phone. Quickly telling peter to get his ass up here and told him the situation. Peter was up in two minutes, "first take care of max I'll be fine for a couple of more hours." Peter nodded, then turned his attention to max. Starting to work on getting the venom out of her system.

"How did it get in my system in the first place." Max said as she gritted her teeth. The process of getting venom out wasn`t exactly painless. Considering it consisted of taking out one`s own blood. "I`ll be fine, I`m not the one dying at the moment." She said a bit annoyed that he wasn`t thinking of himself right now. For the moment she was fine.

Peter shrugged, "alphas orders can't disobey them there you should be set that's all of it though I do not know how it got into your system." Peter walked over to Bruce, checking his leg then doing what he could for him, seeing if there was still any silver in his blood or not.

Max held a piece of cotton over where the blood was drained out. She felt light headed again. This time it wasn`t because of changing either. Idiot, you`d think you`d notice venom in your own blood! Sera yelled pissed beyond belief. Geez I`m unsure of our future with you being so uneducated. She scoffed.

Peter had done what he could, before bandaging Bruce's leg back up. "That should do it now all the silver in his blood is out and now his leg can heal properly." Bruce nodded at that, he watched peter leave back to his room to go back to sleep.

Max watched Peter leave and sighed looking down at the ground. "I'm truely an idiot." She whispered under her breath. She covered her face with her hands.

Bruce looked up at max, he thought for a moment. "Max it's fine but the venom in your system drives me crazy since I could smell it from where I am now." Bruce sighed, as he slowly sat up, the bandages around his stomach and sides shifting still covering the burns the silver in his blood did he grabbed his shirt and put it on.

Max looked up at him. "What are you doing? Don't think of getting up. I know it's boring staying in bed but moving won't help you." She said and sighed. "I would like to know why I had venom in my system anyway. That doesn't just happen."

Bruce shrugged, "that's what I would like to know max. I don't think it was the pack, I don't know how you got it in the first place." His ice blue eyes met hers, "I need to find out who would give me rat poisen that's why I need to get out of bed, because if I keep in bed it's going to happen again."

"How do you expect to find that out? Hmm?" Max asked standing up. It was clear she wasn't giving up easily. Geez you two are like an old married couple. Sena said and sighed. Oh shut up Sena! Max replied.

sheesh Bruce look at this someone's giving you a hard time she's not going to back off brother wolf said in his head, I know I know "max it's my decision not yours." He sighed as he said the words, before he went to grab his boots from the side of the bed.

Max took one of his boots quickly and stepped out of his reach. "I don't care, if you expect me to just let you leave this room then your horribly mistaken. I'm in charge of making sure you don't get worse. If I let you walk around with a possible fight on your head then you won't heal quicky enough."

Bruce growled, his eyes flashing dangerously to gold. He looked up at max, his eyes still gold showing that he was holding onto control just by a thread. "Yah and then what either way I'm going to get challenged sooner or later max" he was having trouble keeping brother wolf from taking control just barely.

Max's eyes started to turn a purple color as they switched from blue to red. "Well for one you'll stand a chance! With your injured leg how do you expect to transform? It will be more difficult. I'm not an expert but I don't think you can exactly waste time in a challenge." She fought back.

Bruce growled, his control growing weaker by the minute. "In a challenge were not allowed to shift only fight in human form. You have no say in this you may be beta but I'm still alpha." He said with a growl, evident in his voice he didn't try to hide it.

"That makes it ten times worse then! You shouldn't be moving in the first place! The wound could start bleeding out!" Max yelled. "I don't care what rank you are! When I met you you were just another person!" At this point her eyes were red. She was prepared to transform to stop him. Max if you tranform your going to leave me no choice but to take over you! Sena warned her hostily.

Bruce growled, he didn't move from where he was. He was holding onto his humanity by a tiny piece of thread. Brother Wolf was ready to be let loose to kill anything that wasn't in the pack to tear things to shreds. His eyes were still glowing amber, his growling didn't recede though most of his humanity was gone enough for him not to be able to form words anymore.

Max stared at him in the eyes her hair turning slightly black at the tips. She had a bad feeling about this, though she wasn't going to let him injure himself even more. Ignoring Sena's warnings she tossed the boot she'd been holding behind her and it hit the wall with a thump.

Bruce looked up, his amber eyes meeting hers. He growled once before getting to his feet, he didn't wince or even show he had been wounded in the first place. His nails slightly growing into claws, his fingers twitched but he didn't move after that keeping his gaze locked with hers. He seemed to be holding back, because in his eyes showed a promise for violence if she tried to stop him.

Max didn't show any sign of backing down or hesitation. "I'm not going to allow you to leave Bruce." She said determination in her eyes. Holding her eyes never left his once.
