Rudi shrugged. Does she know? She can't possibly...can she? "I'm not too sure, I can't really remember how I got here." He hoped that his lying wasn't obvious.

Sabrina's smile faded and she shrugged. "Oh OK." Well that was a fail, I can''t believe I even tried it.

"Why were you..uh... thinking of anything?" He smiled at her, sort of flirtatiously. "Because I can make plans if I..you want..?"

Sabrina's smile returned and she nodded. "I was thinking that you could stay here for the...time being? I would have responsibility over you for a while but other then that you would be free. If you don't like it you can leave."

"Well, I'm not sure..." Rudi joked and he laughed slightly. "I'll stay, don't you worry!" This is risky, He thought, how long can I stay human without being able to shift... and how long can I lie? Rudi's head was filled with the negatives, but he tried to look on the bright side. Which was hard, considering he was the complete opposite of 'bright' himself.

The females of the pack all looked him over and nodded, Sabrina grinned and laughed. "Really? Thats great! I'll show you around the territory when you would like."

After a short nap, Rudi asked to be shown around. "I guess you can be my wonderful guide!" He said cheerfully. This was the happiest he had felt in months. Right then he realised how miserable he was forced to be in the Shadow pack. He felt like he could never leave here... never leave HER...

Sabrina nodded and held out a hand, she smiled at him and cleared her throat. "OK, lets get going."

Rudi took her hand. He started off with a limp, but he soon got used to the pain. "So... I heard some rumours about a Light pack and a Dark pack?" He looked at Sabrina. "Why do you hate the Shadows?"

Sabrina tilted her head and shook it. "Most of us want the packs to merge, but we have learned that they do not favor us anymore and so we fight them off to protect our pack. When we heard of their poor living conditions we tried to give them food and some sort of pact that allowed them to hunt on our more fruitful land. Unfortunately they took advantage of it and now we are in war." She frowned and her words had a sort of cutting edge. At least he isn't a part of this....his hand feels nice.

"So...it wasn't your choice to leave?!" He sounded shocked. He had always been told the Light pack spontaneously grew hate on the Shadows and left.

Sabrina laughed and shook her head. "No we did leave but we didn't want too, it hurt us a lot."

"It did?" a sudden feeling of guilt washed over Rudi and he felt ashamed. For even if it wasn't his choice to leave, he was spiteful to them and blamed them. He turned to face Sabrina and clasped her hands. "Don't be hurt...I can't bear to see a beautiful girl like you hurt..." He leant in closer to her lips. "I feel sorry for you, you were so innocent... you still are...that's what makes you wonderful..."

Sabrina nodded and leaned forward until they were almost touching. "Not to innocent, remember that." She smiled warmly and bit her lip, waiting for him to either pull away or make a move. Is this happening?

Rudi brushed his lips over hers. He pressed harder, enjoying the warmth of her lips. They way it made him feel safe.

Sabrina leaned into the kiss as someone cleared his throat behind them, a growl came from her alpha as he grabbed Rudi by the shoulders and pulled him away from Sabrina. The alpha(I'll just name his Samuel) turned Rudi around and glared at him. "Did I say you could steal my women?"

Rudi gulped. He willed to turn into a wolf and run, but he couldn't take the risk. "I...I didn't realise..." He looked back at Sabrina and mouthed, "Who is he? Help me out!"

Sabrina nodded and mouthed. "Alpha." As quickly as she could, she looked down at Samuel and went over to stand behind him dutifully. Samuel kept his eyes on Rudi. "So when you came to my home, you didn't realize that the people there were under my protection?" He asked, Sabrina was going to cut in but she had nothing she could say to help Rudi.

Rudi scowled. "No, actually!" He said in an angered voice. "Where I lived, we didn't have anyone to protect us. We fended for ourselves! We can't help being like that,bear in mind! YOU were the ones that left u-" Rudi's mind caught up with his mouth and he realised he had just given a lot more away than he should have done.

Samuel scowled and pushed Rudi, he grabbed Sabrina and pulled her back in the direction of the cave. Sabrina watched Rudi with a pained frown as she walked with Samuel loyally. "I'm sorry, Rudi." She whispered as they walked away.
