Rudi woke, his heart beating rapidly as he tried to catch his breath. He was in his human form, and he propped himself up on his elbow. As Rudi looked around, he saw that even the pack leader was asleep. Yeh, right, you stay awake and protect your pack! Liar! He struggled to keep his cocky side locked away. Sighing, he stood and wandered outside. He walked towards the cliff-face, getting as close as he dared. He strolled along the edge. His body threatened to tip out of balance. He changed to his wolf form, regaining balance. Rudi felt miles away as he stared at the water below.

Sabrina was in human form patrolling the perimeter for the third time as the rest of the pack slept, she was nearing the water the two packs had been fighting over the last few days. When she got there she noticed a wolf on one of the cliffs and sighed, she quickly fled to the treeline and shifted to wolf form. She tried to get a good look at the other wolf but she knew she would have to get closer, her white fur was like a neon sign in the middle of the night so she had to creep back even further to stay hidden.

Rudi saw something out of the corner of his eye. Staying dead-still, he promptly shifted into the shadows, becoming virtually invisible. He slowly crept closer to the wolf, minding his footing. It was a female wolf. Pretty little innocent girl! Wonder what I could do with HER?! He thought, but shook it off. He knew better than this, even if he wasn't meant to be nice. Not looking where he was going, he stood straight on a twig and it snapped, the sound echoing through the forest. He shifted to normal, knowing it was obvious of his existence.

Sabrina rushed out of the tree line snarling at the wolf, she started to circle him slowly. She looked into his eyes and snapped at him, she was prepared to fight if that was what it came to. "What are you doing? This is our side of the forest, stay on your cliff." She had shifted into human form still circling him, she was being more careful now but she still had a tough look in her eyes.

Growling menacingly, he bared his fangs. "You know you can't take me on! Besides, I thought you light-lovers were meant to be nice..!" he faked being sad, then went back to growling.

Sabrina shook her head and almost went back to wolf form, she was going to have to attack. She growled viciously and waited for him to make a move. "We are better then you, that is certain. Why don't you call for your pack, it would make me less of an issue correct?"

[gtg in a sec] (She hasn't seen his human form :) maybe they could meet later and he tries to hide the fact they have already met?) Rudi sighed dramatically. "I don't have time for this" he walked away

(OK that sounds good.) Sabrina sighed and quickly headed back to the pack. When she got there another wolf started to patrol and she went to sleep.

Rudi hadn't had any sleep and woke up drowsy. "Rudi, get yourself up! It's time for training!" His mentor said. Sighing and yawning, he stretched and shifted to human to get changed. He walked out into the soft wind, shifted to wolf and started practising hunting for when he becomes a Beta.

Sabrina was leading the sevond group for the hunt. They saw a pack of deer and circled it while remaining hidden in the treeline. There was only one opening that was heading straight for the rest of the pack, Sabrina howled loudly and the deer scattered as they went in each direction they were cut off by snarls and obly had one way to go. Her alpha howled triumphantly to single the end of the hunt, the omegas and teens shifter to human form and started to drag three deer to their camp. When her alpha came over she lowered herself as he licked her muzzle appreciatively. They started to head back with a smile.

"Rudi! Stop!" His mentor said, but Rudi didn't hear. He was too busy chasing a rabbit, and he was heading into danger...
He stumbled down a steep cliff, into the cave where the Light pack were hiding out. He abruptly changed into human form, to mask the fact he was the one threatening them last night. He stood quickly, and saw a pool of blood on the floor where he had hurt his leg severely. He winced in pain.

Sabrina walked towards him and so did a caretaker, they were both in human form and while the caretaker went to get bandages she laid him down and gently put his head in her lap. "Don't worry, its OK." She murmured gently, the caretaker started to dress and clean his wound as she continuex to hold his head gently making sure he kept focus and didn't go hazy.

Rudi looked up and smiled weakly. "T..thank you." He blinked and looked up at her, then realised it was the girl from before. He started to realise how beautiful she looked...
No! Snap out of it... you belong to the shadows, she belongs to the light... it won't work! he thought. He tried to sit up, but fell back down and hit his head. "Ow..."

Sabrina's eyes widened and she grabbed him gently, she started to strok his face and placed it back on her lap as she noticed how handsome he looked. He would probably look even nicer if he wasn't injured. She hated the natural instinct for a mate and quickly shook it off as she continued to smile at him carefully. "Do you belong to a pack?"

Rudi didn't want to be recognised and he didn't want to leave this girl. "No..N-Not really..." He slightly turned his head to where he fell, but he couldn't see his mentor. He knew his pack would come searching soon, but for now he was safe.

Sabrina nodded as her alpha and one if the elders discussed him, they nodded towards her and she looked baxk at him happily. "Well you are allowed to stay and rest for the time you need." She stroked his cheek softly and smiled.

He smiled. "Thank you." Why would I be horrible to someone so sweet?! I really need to get myself under control... "My name is... Rudi."

"Rudi is nice, my name is Sabrina." Sabrina laughed and smiled as she s@started to get antsy. "Well I have to go now, after I eat I can make you some food." The elders and alpha had just finished so she was next up as an omega handed her a plate of cooked venison. She smiled at the omega and started to eat when she was done she startex Rudi's food and came back to him with a plate of meats and simple potatoes next to it, she looked at his wound and redressed it as another caretaker came up with a small cup of warm liquid medicine. The caretaker set it next to Rudi and she smiled up at him. "Don't worry, it tastes kind of like tea."

Rudi ate most of the potatoes and all of the meat- it tasted like heaven compared to the meat the Shadow pack were given. He sipped the medicine and it trickled down his throat, warming him up. The pain slowly eased away, until little pain was left. He managed to stand up, but had to lean against the wall to regain his balance. "This is a really nice camp you have here..." He smiled at Sabrina.

Sabrina shrugged and laughed, she thought it was fine but everyone was saying they had to move out. As she watched him start to walk she smiled warmly and walked over to the Alpha. She pointed at Rudi with a small smile and the Alpha started to watch him carefully, he shrugged and nodded as she went back over to Rudi. "So Rudi, if you are a lone wolf, what are your plans?" Her tone was suggestive and sweet, she smiled and looked at him carefully.
