Yo RPGuild. It's been a while since I've come out and placed some interest checks for a roleplay. And it's been even longer that I've been hankering for some good old fashioned, T-Virus infected zombies.
I'm shooting for a mid to high casual roleplay with an emphasis on survival and horror. See those flavor text tags? I'm serious about both of them. A good RE Outbreak style RP would follow doctors, waitresses, mechanics, workers of all trades. People who may not be used to holding a pistol or a shotgun.
BUT WAIT! You whine. I wanna be a super soldier with the t-virus infecting his arm that gives him super jumps and he's immune to the virus and he has a katana!
To that I say, "GET THAT WEAK SHIT OUT OF HERE."
Seriously. Most combat encounters would be more like this:
See? George has a rusty metal pipe and his dumb doctor brains are probably gonna get gnawed by that zombie. That's what i'm goin' for here!
The question is; are you, the interested audience, willing to play ball for a chance at reliving some classic survival horror? And if so, pitch some ideas! What would fit best? (Raccoon City? Post-Umbrella? New timeline?) Where should the setting be?
And, how will we determine encounters with zombies?
