[Ayleth]

"Okie doke!" She carefully put all her new "and cool! eee~" belongings on her bed before closing up the room and skipping along with Lady Violetta. "Are there other kids here? Do they know more magic than me?" She took off her aviation goggles and resituated them back on her head. "Oh! Oh! Oh! Do I get to learn how to fly?!" She spun mid-step, stumbling a bit before recovering herself and continuing to prance along beside the woman.

Yeah, she was /so/ totally done being calm now.

[Aisling]

Lady Violetta laughed.
"Let's go to the main floor. Remember to tell the Spiral Staircase where you wish to go."
Lady Violetta placed her hands on the rails and spoke
"To the main floor, please."

[Ayleth]

Chicoti followed behind Lady Violetta, trying to remember all of the new things she was learning.. Chicoti was never good at remembering the things she was SUPPOSED to remember.... She could remember all the neat alleyways and where all the best pets in her neighborhood were, but remember a list of 5 things to get for her mother from the store? She would be lucky if she came back with three of the right things... even with a list!

[Aisling]

Lady Violetta waited a few minutes then took Chicoti down to the Village.

"Here is your cart. Your list is on your PLTs. Just follow the directions. When you are finished, put your cart in your slot then ask the Spiral Stairs to take you to the bedroom floor. By the time you get to your room the cart should be in the cart closet. Have fun but if you are not back to your room in two hours, I will come looking for you." she spoke as she got ready to leave.

[Ayleth]

"Oh! Okay!" She laughed and skipped off with her cart a few steps before stopping and turning around. "W-w-wait! I.. I don't have any money..." She looked down, a little ashamed of herself. She never was very good at saving her money. Despite this admission however, she was subtly eyeing the pet shop and the sweets store.

[Aisling]

"Don't worry, Chicoti. All student are able to buy from these stores for free the first time. Be sure to get everything that you want and what you need for your new pet plus extra supplies." Lady VIoletta spoke then headed back up stairs.

[Ayleth]

Chicoti did as she was told, enjoying herself at the village and eventually getting all of the things on her list, including some things that weren't such as some Froggersw, Pop Rocks, and cherry SnapDragons. After a bit, she returned to the mansion, eventually remembering how to make the spiral stairs work, and moved all of her newly purchased items into their new places about her room. She flopped down on the bed and sighed happily. This place was going to be interesting and fun!

We are doing a time skip to the morning of the first class which will be Meditation

Lady Violetta woke up early, dressed quickly in a set of sweat pants and headed upstairs to the Meditation Room. Once she was there she opened the door and checked to see if everything was in place. Lady Violetta then mentally called out to her students

~Good Morning everyone! It is time to get up, dress in comfy clothes and go to the Spiral Staircase and ask to be taken to Non-Magical Floor. I shall expect everyone to be here in 10 minutes. First 3 who arrive first will get a treat!~

Elliot walked out of his room, seeing Melody on the other side of the hall, looking extremely groggy. They both wandered down to the non-magical floor, Melody a bit slower that Elliot, and going towards lady Violetta.

[Aisling]

Lady Violetta saw the two students come into the class together and smiled.
"For being the first two here, you win the prize of a Creepers! but please do not open it during Meditation Class. They are way too noisey and Meditation Class is a quiet class.
Lined up against the wall are an assortment of pillows. Various sizes, colors and patterns. Please choose one that you like best and place it in a semi circle around the pillow on the floor, leaving about 2 feet between pillows." she spoke softly as she handed them their prize.

Elliot walked to the back of the room after receiving the creeper, and picked up a black pillow lined with white stitches. Melody grabbed a white pillow with black stitches, and they sat two feet apart from each other, waiting for their next instructions.

[Ayleth]

Chicoti had already been up for ages. Once receiving the mental call from Lady V. she changed and wandered to the Meditation room, perky and awake, though not quite verbal yet.

Ayaka woke to Lady Violetta's message and fed Rikami before she started getting ready for the day. As soon as she was ready, she went to the Non-Magical floor.

Dante was busy training himself physically and mentally when he got the message from the head mistress he still had to change he'd be late but it would be worth it Dante changed clothes and walked to the meditation room looking for a place to sit.

[Aisling]

Norin was not ready to get up but she feed her pets since she did not know when she could do so. She soon was dressed and grabbed a snack as she wandered to the meditation room. See that others chose pillow she looked at them and found one that was rather large and beanbag like. It was in a rainbow pattern which suited her perfectly in her opinion. She sat down near the group to wait for instructions.

Dante sat down by himself and closed his eyes leaning his head up towards the celling he was feeling pretty irritable at the moment.

[Aisling]

Welcome to Meditation. I have this class the first thing in the day because that is when your mind is the least likely to be cluttered with things that you need to, want to do or before you are fully awake.

Everyone has a comfy pillow? There are a variety of sizes, shapes, colors and patterns because each of us is an individual. Find a spot in front of me and make a semi-circle. We will begin focusing on breathing.

Slowly breathe in for a count of 3, hold for a count of 3 then breathe out for a count of 3. As you practice this relaxing technique, you can lengthen the count. Ready….

In 1-2-3. Hold 1-2-3. Out 1-2-3. In 1-2-3. Hold 1-2-3. Out 1-2-3. In 1-2-3. Hold 1-2-3. Out 1-2-3.”

After a few minutes, Lady Violetta spoke softly

“Please stop. Now look at the candle in the middle. I want you to concentrate on that candle until you see nothing but the candle. Don’t worry if you can’t do it the first time. Usually it takes several times of practicing this before you are able to block out the surrounding view and noises. But you will need to be able to block out things if you are going to battle someone or something or an animal.”

[Ayleth]

Chicoti struggled with these exercises for a while, and not due to her fluffy blue pillow either. It was a while before she could settle her mind down enough to become even remotely competent. With a flustered expression, she looked around at the other students to see what she was doing wrong, before realizing she had done this before! This was the "Sit-As-Still-As-You-Can" game she played sometimes when she couldn't sleep or when she was trying to hide from her parents when they wanted her to do chores! This would be easy. She usually won the Sit-As-Still-As-You-Can game.

Dante opened his eyes and looked at the candle like instructed he stared at it as every thing els faded to black all he could see was the candle every thing about it from the scratches on the candle holder to the wick of the candle he was analyzing the candle.

Noirin thought that this was a boring exercise but she did as she was told. The breathing part was easy but she just couldn't block out everything but the candle and was soon very bored----- in fact bored to death!
