There is a world known as the dreamscape. The dreamscape is... Well, a weird world. The dreamscape is responsible for producing a race of completely human creatures for some fantastical world of unknown origin. The dreamscape acts as a sort of "womb" for these humanoids as they grow up in there. They live enclosed in their own little dream, their only little world. But it's only them, and them, and more of them...
Well, in a sense, it's multiple iterations of the same person. But there is only one true person, and they are influenced by all other iterations of that one, single person.
The period of influence, or the period of time they are in the dreamscape before they are "born" is thought to be the equivalent of five years. In these five years the person decides multiple facets of their appearance and personality. They also go through a rapid growth from childhood to adulthood to which they finally "die" to the dream world and are born elsewhere.
Right now, there is a man being born in one of the many wombs of the dreamscape. He is a blank canvas, and still in his childlike form. He has no distinguishing features, no hair, his body type is average... He needs "painted" so to speak, molded. Will he looks handsome? Or will he look average? His personality is similarly blank, just an animal trying to survive. Higher thinking will come as the iterations the dreamscape creates come to mold this growing soul.
What iterations will succeed in claiming most of his personalities and his features?
Since the man being born currently is a BLANK CANVAS, I myself don't have a character sheet. Currently he's just a white humanoid form in the 12-14 age range. He will age rapidly as time goes on.
As for your characters, they are iterations, and have the same features as the blank canvas, but there's always something distinguishable about them. One may be darker, one may have a pinkish tint, etc. As the roleplay goes on, the dreamscape and the iterations will take on characteristics of the real world, in this case we'll be using modern earth as a "real world" but that does not mean that is where the character will be born. Thusly cartoons and such, TVs, etc, they all show up in the dreamscape in a well... dreamlike fashion.
An iteration may eventually wear a pikachu shirt, or know about bowling? All in time. But at the moment everything is blank. The world itself is white.

Archetype: What is your iteration? Happy, Sad, Fat-kid, prep, etc? Archetypes can be combined to make an in depth personality.
Goals: What is your iteration striving for? A happy human being, a sporty type? Do they want him to be blonde? Mongoloid?
Distinguishing features: How is this Iteration going to look as time goes on? Darker skin tone, athletic build, will they dye their hair somehow?
