I'm just about to run off on a night time errand, but I should be back in about 40 minutes (a little after 11pm). I plan on being a bad boy and staying up until midnight tonight.

i'm working on my reply now. Is it permissible to assume that they would physically lean on each other as they make their way? Maybe have their hands across the backs of each other's waists to steady one another? I was going have them struggle along together towards the cider mill (which is closer than the house), but I didn't want to accidentally God-Mod Kijani. If not, let me know and I can work something else out.

Aaaand there we go! I have no real idea of what the inside of a period cider mill might look like. i have vague impressions of wooden presses that crush the apples and large gears and a barrels and a storage area... but that's about it. So let's just have fun with it!

*nodnod* Alright. I need a bit of rest, so I'm gonna take an hour or two and try to sleep. I had some bad food or something yesterday, so my insides are mutinying...

Ooooo, I love her reactions to it all! Equal measures of fear at his approach, attraction at the sight of him, horror for what was done to him, and concern for his well being! Nicely, nicely done!

Victor's scars: (some of these she won't find out about until later, of course)

Left side of face, running from the top of his ear down along his jaw to the left side of his chin. It's fairly narrow but obvious.

Back of right hand and top of forearm, burn scars. the skin is smooth with a slight melted looked to it, but is otherwise fine.

Front and outside of left knee, heavily scarred with no pattern to it. Muscles around the knee look twisted as if torn. Several surgical scars interwoven with them.

Left chest, diagonal scar running shoulder to sternum.

Left shoulder, short but thick scar.

Right side of belly, two puckered circles about the size of a small coin.

Right foot, missing most of two middle toes.

Back: heavily scarred from being excessively flogged.

Wow... I didn't realize he was so heavily scarred.

May I ask which side his limp is on? I'm guessing left, because of the knee. Just wanting to make sure.

You are correct! His left leg is the bad one. (Shaking head) I can't believe I went all this time without clarifying that, too! My bad!

It's quite alright. I'll go over Kijani's body at... a much later time, when it is appropriate. To do so now would be spoileriffic.
