Lailas head jolted to the sound of the young girls voice 'How did she survive?' she thought.
Laila got onto her knees to be almost the same height as the girl, "Hi there" she replied happily "what's your name?"

"My name is Riley," She cheerfully smiled in response. "What about yours?"

"uh- I'm Laila, that's a very pretty name Riley!" She stuttered in response "How old are you sweetie?"
laila asked, curious to know.

"Thanks! Leila is a pretty name too," Riley beamed. "I'm nine." She replied.

James managed to escape the zombies and circled around to get back to the church, but on his way he'd heard their little conversation before they'd all gone inside, so he changed his mind, and instead, climbed up the side, the little crevices in the stone structure making perfect handholds, and just climbed inside the bell tower of the church.

Moses couldn't help but grin at the presence of the little girl. Just her being there made the whole situation a lot less fucked up. Joan padded over to the two of them sniffing at them curiously before laying down next to Riley. "Am I that easy to replace girl?" He said amused.

Jannete stood silent all the time, keeping an eye on Leila and on the girl who thought she ws the queen of the church

Riley stared at the dog who had curiously approached them and laid down next to her. She got down on her knees in order to affectionately scratch the dog behind its ears. "Hi doggy," She giggled and continued to pet it's head.

"hey cup cake, be careful, it may bite you" Jannete told Riley sweetly but even so it was a warning

Joan was excited now and licked Riley's hand. Moses simply laughed at the woman's comment. "Joan's a good dog she won't bite anyone unless she feels threatened or I tell her too." He extended his hand to her in greeting. "I don't think we've been properly introduced yet. I'm Moses."

"Jannete" She said with a soft smile and shook his hand "So how long have you been here?" she asked looking at the things on the floor

Jacob was smiling as he had fallen asleep on the roof top with his blanket around himself. Dreaming about lovely children that as he got closer towards them started to change their shapes to something really sick, a three armed kid with its guts cut open, Missing half its skin on the face and an eyeball mising

"Not much longer than you folks." He said rubbing his bite wound. "believe me I already had to go through what she's like trust me y'all got off easy." Moses laughed, "So is she your little sister?"

With a small and meaningful sigh Ieasha got a pen and tore a page from the bible to write; 'Tomorrow this will change, I'm sorry for my rude manners. Alex is coming back with whatever you write on the back of this. I have an abundance if you want to call it that.'. She clipped the pen on the back of the thick yellowed paper and sent it down into the basement with Alex.

Alex hopped into the basement, he watched everyone silently and wagged his tail as he took the note to Moses and dropped it in the man's lap. He waited a few seconds and looked between them with some interest.

Moses was surprised to see Alexander back down in the basement but he was even more surprised to see the piece of paper he was carrying. Curious as to what is said, He grabbed it as soon as Alexander laid it in his lap.When he was finished reading it he couldn't help but feel embarrassed about the way he had acted. He took up the pen and scribbled down his response on the back of the page. "I realize its hard to trust people out here nowadays so I completely understand where your coming from. I apologize for the way I reacted, and it was wrong of me to let the others into your home without at least consulting you. Perhaps tomorrow we could start with a clean slate?" He cautiously petted Alexander before handing him the note. "Thanks boy."

Alexander barked a couple of times and took the note, he then ran upstairs and searched for Ieasha, he found her easily and handed her the note as he went to get water.

Ieasha peaked at the note with a small smile, she guessed it was easy to make friends in the apocalypse. She shrugged and whistled Alexander over again, now she wrote;

'Food wise? People can be insanely stupid sometimes A compromise? Sure sounds nice. Giving back to the now resting Alexander she smiled and gave him a small petting before he complied. "Good boy."

Alexander now walked into the basement and dropped the note once again on Moses' lap.

Jannet went up stairs and looked at Ieasha "i need the sword, i cant sleep without it" she said coldly, her eyes were saying she didn't fear the weoman

The part of the floor in the bell tower that James was at was apparently weaker than the rest of it from being so old, and that part of the floor fell through, proceeding to drop James down onto the stairs at just the right angle to make him roll down the spiral stairs to the main floor of the church, but luckily it didn't make enough noise to alert the zombies outside, even though the people in the church would definitely notice.

Ieasha glared back but when the man fell through the floor she tossed the woman her sword and took out her machete, going over to the man she put it to his throat with a sigh. "What are you doing sir? Are you deranged, you just ran from a horde didn't you. Your a dumb daredevil that probably got bit."

James simply laughed at this. "Don't worry. I'm not bit. I was far enough ahead of them to not get bit. I think they're a couple blocks away though by now. They kept going the way I was going before I had slipped away. So they're gone."
