[IC] Deadzone Reality

Lucius opened doors all around some on the Earthly plane he was banished from, and some on his plane some he brought here long ago or was it a short time ago, oh it doesn't matter really it's all in great fun really. He was ready to begin making a new story in all the lands, he already made Dracula, the Minotaur, one of his great favorites the Kraken. All fun in those days, but now a new story needed to be made he was tired of playing with ghosts, so now as he pulled all of the people he wanted through the portal, he implanted a memory of him introducing each of them to each other, and telling them be free, forge that story you've always wanted. His final words to them, "Remember if the story is no fun, then why would we read it?"

The portals dropped all of you together near a small town still on the Deadzone reality, you can all clearly see a hag walking in the street, a half-breed Werewolf/ Vampire trying to sell Venom (The equivalent of cheap alcohol), and a few Manigators (?) clearly the town watch dogs.

"Now go create the new story book my children," You could all hear in your heads, before a small headache set in

[Lightless]

A sword glowing blue plunged deep into the earth, blade first. 'Well. This is rather awkward..' Durendal thought to himself, stuck. 'I can't feel my arms or legs.. just cold. Maybe if I..' As Sylvus's consciousness dreamt, the faint light around Durendal flowed into an invisible mold of a humanoid silhouette, from which a young man with his hand on the sword materializes.
"Now THIS is much better!" he exclaims to himself with a sigh of relief, pulling it out of the ground. 'So.. where am I again?' Sylvus looks on to the town nearby, then to the purplish night sky above, then to the nightmarish creatures falling out of the sky as he did earlier.

Lillian found herself falling from a height much higher than those around her, though it was probably a good thing considering her new size. Twisting her body around she snapped her wings out and angled herself for a landing, all as if it were second nature to her. With a couple of powerful beats of her wings, Lily brought her monstrous form down to the ground with more grace than should be expected from a beast her size. Looking around, the world wasn't colored as she expected it to be, her range of color much wider and seemingly connected to her sense of smell. Below her(and a small distance away for her) she could see the form of person holding a sword, though it was all connected as if one were the other. What have we here? Her voice was still obviously female but it was much deeper, much more aggressive, and not coming from her mouth but her mind. Neat trick. She thought to herself that time before looking around at the strange scene below her.

Flint landed on his knees, grunting softly as he dusted him self off, his long flowing coat picking up a light breeze.
He stood and looked at the peculiar set of faces around him "Well.... where not in Kansas anymore.." Flint quoted looking up to a large beast.
He couldn't even think straight looking at the large dragon. "So... this is new...." He said softly to himself, slowly walking towards Lillian.
He stood beside her but turned his head towards some more figures, he definitely looked pretty normal compared to ... these guys.
But what was normal? Flint pondered then looked to the small town before them.

A cloud was plummeting from the sky much like the others. The black mist was dotted with seemingly endless deep crimson eyes that looked in every possible direction. But just as quickly as the mist appeared it was replaced by a near skeleton thin and deathly pale man cladded in black leather, his long ebony hair flowing behind him. The man's blood red eye shoot open and a crazed grin dawned on his face before he let out a deranged laugh. The laughter echoed as he fell towards the ground and continued after he hit the ground with a loud bone chilling crack. The laugh only grew louder as the man rose from the small crater he made, his jaw dislocated and his arm obviously out of it's socket. "FUN!!!" He yelled as he came to his feet.

Paulnus woke from a great sleep, he was in a new shard den. "this isn't my home, where in the deadzone am I?" he thought as he mustered enough power to have the shards around him into a new body. upon the completion of his new form he saw a town. a odd town that had a dragon hovering over it. looking around he saw that his Shard den was only a few outcrops of shardkind gem. "Well," he muttered "I better go see if that town has a map. Wonder how far from sanctum I am, or if it is still there?" he then approached a blue haired warrior that seemed to materialize out of nowhere. "Maybe he knows? lets see."

"Hm..?" Sylvus utters to himself, hearing the sound of rocks grinding coming closer. Grasping Durendal instinctively, the sword spirit turns and faces the crystal being, with his eyes narrowing. 'I wonder if this thing's friendly.. Maybe not. Weak humans like me don't exist on this plane, or something like that..' he thinks, only to have the thought shatter when the shadow of a dragon suddenly descends upon him, followed by a dark mass more horrid than the rest. 'That's.. definitely NOT friendly!' Sylvus shudders slightly, watching it manifest as he treads backwards.

Max landed quietly, shifting his form into a cat's as soon as he had a mind to do so, even before he hit the ground. He scurried under the shade of a bush and watched the scene unfold, the newcomers seemed to be more powerful one after the other, which didn't bode well for him at all. As useful as being able to shapeshift was, it was of little use in a fight, all he could really do was change into something that would stand more of a chance, and the biggest thing he could think of at the moment was actually standing a few paces in front of the bush he was hiding under. He decided to stay quiet and see how things unfolded.

Michael woke up in this strange world, rubbing his eyes as he sat up, Mike was thoroughly confused about his surroundings.

"Where am I?" he asked himself.

as the dragon came closer, Paulnus started backing away. he might be tough, but he's nowhere near THAT tough. he saw that the didn't seem hungry and was simply watching. knowing this, he hoped to make a telepathic bridge betwen the two of them and try to avoid the slaughter of the village and himself.

Lily noticed many eyes shifting toward her, which made her feel somewhat self conscious. Sure, let's all stare at the dragon because it's the biggest thing around. She growled with a snort. The group was beginning to bug her, and she wasn't sure how long it would be until she decided that she could stomach living meals. Slowly she turned and began trudging away from the city as if she held no interest in their little meeting, it wasn't as if she cared what they did. She had always been an independent worker, a lone wolf, a thief.

Max stared at the people gathered there and noticed that the dragon seemed to have lost interest and was walking off. As much as he was afraid of being near a dragon, he couldn't help but feel that some of the people in that little group were more dangerous. Maybe not physically, he thought, but at least one seemed to be certifiably insane. He decided to take his chances with the dragon, so he bolted from under the bush and caught up with the dragon as it headed out of town, hoping it didn't mind the company.

The cackle the was escaping the thin and pale man was only drowned out by the sounds of him snapping his bones back into place. "THERE WE ARE... WAIT THAT DOESN"T GO THERE!!" He said with another laugh as he snapped his neck, which was causing his head to face backwards. His crazed eyes darted around the group, not staying too long on any body. He then quickly spread his arms out, as if offering a hug. "HELLO FELLOW FREAKS!!! IT IS A HONOR TO MEET YOU!!!" He said with a yet another laugh before he noticed the large dragon walking off. Like a snake striking the man was in front of the dragon leaning on what seemed to be thin air. "Where you off to beautiful? Got a hot date?" He said in a smooth tone, but his mad eyes and wicked grin killed any hint of a normal person.

Flint looked at the odd group. He decided to head out for the town, maybe find out what kind of a place it was.
He checked his revolver was in its shoulder holster before he began to walk towards the village.
He began to manipulate the air around him, something to do whilst he walked. He made the air tangle and wind around his head and feet, the gust flicking his hair and coat gently around.

Valdong The Destoryer watched these... pathetic things. "on my planet, I would be able to destroy you all with one word" he muttered to himself. He noticed a Elemental Mage leave and head to the town. He followed him, watching him create the wind. Being a goat, it would almost be impossiable to be noticed, making the Ancient goats the perfect spies.

Looking at the strange goat in front of him, Michael suddenly formulated a great idea.

"Hey guys," Mike suggested. "Anyone for some BBQ lamb?"

As the dragon wandered off, he went back to trying to communicate with the blue haired boy."Hello, i'm not from around here and i don't have a map. Do you mind if I looked at yours?" he sent. hoping for a reply he stared at the young man.

An exhausted "phew" Sylvus gave when the dragon and the thing, now shaped like a person, wandered off towards the town and its possibly doomed inhabitants. When he heard the voice, vaguely human, came from behind him, Sylvus turned, only to encounter the crystal thing from earlier. Though, it seemed like it was trying to communicate to him this time, instead of approach him menacingly. "Oh! Er.." Sylvus stuttered, trying to recollect what it had said while he was still in shock. Taking a deep breath, Sylvus finally spoke. "N-No. I don't have a map, sorry. I'm not from around here, as well."

"No one will be eating me, WereTroll. Yes, i know you are a WereTroll. It was as simple as looking at you." Valdong said to the Man who insulted him. He floated over to him and stared him in the eyes, Valdong's turning red. "And if you even think about that ever again, Goat help me i WILL NOT hold back on you, pitiful Human." He went back on the ground. "Now what the Hell are we doing here?"

"Oh, well then I guess we should stick together then warrior. Don't worry, I don't mean you any ill will, we are nowhere near my shard den for me to logically show anger toward anyone i don't know. And whats with that goat?" paulnus told the swordsman. then tried to bridge a telepathic gap between himself and the odd goat.
