[OOC] Deadzone Reality

You were all once normal humans living on Earth when reports began talking of Portals opening randomly, sucking in people and then dissapearing leaving what's now known as Reality Trace Signatures. This day you (However many decide to join) were unfortunate (or depending on your past maybe extremely fortunately) to have been pulled through one of these portals to what is known as the Deadzone Reality a place of demons, vampires, werewolves, dark elves, ghouls, goblins and any other things of the night. All those tales of horrific creatures in the past was all true all those creatures from here, some though aren't as horrible as they were made out, but now it doesn't matter you are one of them now your bodies changed to be one with the plane.

(How's the story this will be my first roleplay where that I've made so...)

Rules

Basic Rules for those interested before I make the actual thread.
1. No Godmod (You guys should know this one by now)
2. Cursing is fine, but if anyone asks you to cool it be courteous and do so
3. Any not so well known creature (I.E Japanese Kappa, Wyverns, etc.) please post a link to what base you are using. [A site with info on them pretty much]
4. Have fun and be free with it

What this story is meant as- A free roam, free range story (or as I tend to call it a Jack Session), whatever you wanna do, do it. You wanna go raid a town and pilage the world go for it,build a machine to go to another realm bring it on, get wasted (kind of hard to do being vampires, werewolves, etc.) but hey go for it anyway.

Backstory: Max was born in a normal family, in a normal city somewhere in the west coast. He always had an interest for the stories his grandmother, a native american, used to tell him as she put him to sleep when he was still a kid, reading about the native american and other mythologies well into his teenage years. As the years passed, though, he turned into kind of an introvert, preferring to stay at the sidelines without calling much attention. One day, during a trip he took with his college friends to south america, he got lost and sucked in by a portal. He discovered his new powers when, upon seeing creatures in the distance that seemed less than friendly, he wished he could just turn into a small animal and escape, immediately shapeshifting into a cat. He's a man of few words, but is wiser than he looks.

Name: Durendal (Sylvus Iver)
Creature/Race: Sword Spirit

I just made this up

Its a living, talking sword that projects a humanoid figure to wield itself. The figure is an illusion and can't be killed, but if the sword is knocked out of the figure's hands, it'll be sucked back into the sword. Then, the sword left behind can be used as a special weapon until it musters enough strength to create another figure and decides if it wants to be a person again.

Backstory: Durendal was once known as the boy named Sylvus Iver. As a child, he dreamed of a world far more exciting than the corrupt, money-ruled place he lived in; a world where dragons cut through the sky with majestic wings. Though that soon faded away like any other childhood dream, it began to resurface once he saw the opportunity to go to a whole new dimension. Without telling anyone, he eagerly jumped through the Deadzone portal, leaving his old life in America and turning into what he is now. He wasn't exactly excited to be turned into an immortal sword-person, but hey, it's something.
Other: Whether Durendal is used as a weapon or as a figure, he enhances the user's reflexes and speed, and is capable of firing off vacuum waves.

Appearance: (instead of one white wing, he has two crimson red wings)
Backstory: James grew up in a terrible family. HIs dad beat him, his mom was a drug addict(and also beat him), so he had to train himself to be tough, even going so far as getting someone to train him in multiple fighting styles. Because of all this abuse, he acquired a high pain tolerance, enough that he was almost immune to pain. He found his escape one day, though, in the form of a Deadzone portal, which he eagerly entered. just to see if it would take him away from his horrible life. When he stepped through, though, he found that he was now a hybrid between a vampire and an angel, with all of the strengths and abilities of both, while having none of their weaknesses, since each one's strength, cancels out the other's weakness.

Backstory:
Flint lived a average childhood. Getting good grades in school his parents where proud, he hardly saw them though as they both had busy jobs requiring a lot of traveling.
Despite this Flint pursued his Law career and is now a private detective.
He was following a lead, A woman believed her husband to be cheating, when a portal ripped in front of him and sucked him inside.

Backstory: Lillian was a free spirit confined in a cage of civility and propriety. She lived in a large town surrounded by rich snobs that always looked down on her and families like her own that had less money than those who lived in the mansions. To get back at some of the meaner people, Lillian broke into their houses and stole some valuables that they probably wouldn't have missed anyway. Having gotten away with it, she began to do it more and more often until one night she got caught and arrested. It was sitting in her jail cell that the portal devoured her from, spitting her back out into a form that wasn't her own. She was bigger now, more powerful and humming with a magic she had only ever heard of in fairy tails.
Other: Is mostly interested in satisfying her greed but if an interesting offer, or a game of riddles is won, she could be persuaded to work with others.

Appearance: Human appearance, troll appearance after transformation

Backstory: Michael was the boss of a Moscow gangster group called Lenin's Guards, a bunch nostalgic thugs who "fought against the Bourgeoisie elites". In reality, all they did was playing loud Soviet era music while beating people up with vodka bottles. Compared to the rest of his "comrades", Michael was a cut above intellectually. Michael attended med school a few years ago, but was quickly expelled due to suspicions of stealing pig organs and selling them on the black market. During one particularly nasty run-in with the police, Michael escaped to the roof top of a skyscraper, just as he thought he had outsmarted the police, Michael was zapped by a lightening bolt. When Michael woke up, he was at another world. Confused and angry, Michael noticed something different about himself, he was turning into something he never imagined...

Other: Michael is a little older then 30 years old. He will transform into a weretroll for a couple of hours each day, in addition, violent mood swings can also cause transformation (be aware ).

Chaos Lord

Where other beings spread chaos out of enjoyment or a lust for power Chaos Lords unleash death and destruction out of a need to sustain themselves. Unlike other monsters that feed on blood or flesh Chaos Lords feed on chaos of any form, from whole sale slaughter or the crumbling of someone's life. They are truly shapeless masses, composed of darkness blood and other unspeakable things they are normally covered in countless eyes, that wander both the Deadzone and Earth spreading mayhem. They are considered mad and insane almost beyond understanding, though they are known to cut deals. Their abilities mainly are based on their shape shifting, being able to turn into almost anything that comes to there deranged minds. Their true form is almost impossible to touch with out them willingly it or they are forced to by a stronger holy being. But despite their physical powers what should be truly feared about them is their seemingly limitless knowledge on the forbidden, be it magic or the crimes of mortals. It is said their favorite form of chaos to create is by spreading a dark truth they have picked up, like an affair of a unfaithful wife or the murder of a loved one.

Formless Mass: Malocchio in his true state is a large cloud like mass that continuously shifts, having countless eyes.

Humanoid form: When he needs arms or legs Malocchio becomes a bit more solidified.

Other Forms

Human Form: When he needs to talk to others with out driving them mad Malocchio dawns this human form.


Dog Form: One of Malocchio's favorite forms is a large demonic dog.

Backstory: Darwin was born the youngest child of a wealthy family of businessmen, musicians, artists, and doctors. Since the day he was born Darwin had everything handed to him, from his school work, toys, cars and anything else he wanted. He was contempt with this life for a while but it slowly began to bore him. Looking for excitement he turned to drugs, racing, and gambling. This high risk life style eventually lead to him killing a guy who owed him some money from a poker match. That was when Darwin made a shocking discovery, the thrill he got from killing. So he did it again... and again... and again until the point that he became a infamous serial killer. But evidence finally lead the cops to him and to a shoot out, Darwin taking out about a half a dozen police officers before a portal consumed him and transported him to the Deadzone.

Creature/Race: Shardkind

Shardkinds

Shardkinds are beings of pure energy concentrated into a what would normally be a mass of lifeless red crystals. they are more like spirits inhabiting a shell, or more like a crab. A spirit highly in-tuned with magic can make it's spirit physical by finding these crystals and using there magic to amplify themselves and control them like the nerves control our movements. they ore often seclusive and attack any outsiders that come too close to a shard den. a place where the red crystals grow naturally. the shards themselves are about as resistaint to impact as modern day steel and can become razor sharp. they tend to prefer a body type that they had in life rather than being a full shape-changer. Shardkinds can change there outer appendages to weapons or delicate graspers that are on par with the human hand. the crystal layer is about an inch thick and they cannot recover damaged shards, they can only be replaced with new ones. there is no way to kill one other than destroy all crystals it is using and trap there essence in a soul shard.
Shardkinds can only speak through telepathy and understand most modern languages enough to speak a non-native language in a broken dialect. they can speak there native dialect with ease.

Appearance:

Backstory: Paul was 22 when a portal appeared and sucked him in. he had lived for 10 years with a relatively peaceful people and died when a werewolf raid nearly killing all of the town. the pepole had been waiting for this so that they could become shardkind. they had passed there knowledge of how to do so to Paul and he is now standing protector of the shardkind colony.
Other: he specializes in hand to hand combat and makes his left arm particularly tough in combat and use's it like a shield.
