Emma rolled on her side and kept sleeping. She didnt noctie anything

The creature caught his scent and slinked away. Blaze folded his wings back in.

Emma kept slipping. She did have a,long day

However Blaze couldn't stay awake all night. He woke Emma and told her it was her turn for watch. He curled up in a ball, and promptly fell asleep.

Emma yawned and kept watch for the remainder of the town

Blaze eventually woke, a little surprised he wasn't alone... or dead.

" good morning ~" Emma greeted him with a smile

[Miraboreasu]

"Morning," Blaze muttered. He wasn't awake just yet. However he shuffled to the treeline to relieve himself, back facing Emma. However, two red and gold, leathery objects protruded from the bottom of his shirt.

Emma tilted her head and as she looked at him." I gotta feeling your not all the way human."

[Miraboreasu]

That woke Blaze up. A chill ran down his spine, and the two projections drew back up onto his shirt. "And you're not just a girl, are you?" he asked. "You're that runaway princess."

[AcetheKidd]

Emma laughed abit ." Yep, your right." She said. " and my brother is after me to."

[Miraboreasu]

"Then I suppose I'll share my secret," Blaze said. He shrugged his shoulders. While at first it seemed nothing seemed to happen, a pair of magnificent, gold-streaked red wings spread out behind him. The wings were composed of feather like scales.

" your an hybrid? Of a dragon? Thats so cool! I only seen a dragon once in my life." Emma said

[Miraboreasu]

"My father was a dragon," Blaze said quietly. "But he was killed by the dragonslayers your father paid." He was silent.

Emma didnt say anything for a while."...im sorry i hear that. My dad is a big jerk."

[Miraboreasu]

Blaze waved a hand dismissively. "I believe that the sins of the father should not be passed down to the sons... or daughters." He began folding his wings back up.

Emma looked at him confused. " what do you mean?"

"If I believed in punishing those whose parents had commited wrongs," Blaze said, "you would be dead."

Emma started to laugh." Ha, that's funny. You couldn't kill if I was tied up to a tree." She said and folded her arms

Irritated, Blaze inhaled deeply, and then breathed a plume of flame, reigniting the coals of the camp fire. "You were saying?"
