Heylo, So I have only ever done 1x1 rp before, and I would like to give this ago as it involves more people? Im kinda buggered on how it works though o-o I dun gettit?
*crawls into dunce corner*
So can someone maybe help come up with some ideas? ...and explain how this works with multiple peeps? :o
Because obviously for 1x1 it goes: person 1, person 2 then back to person 1 again... So does this go a similar pattern? Like person 1 then 2 then 3 etc back to 1? >-<
I have a 1x1 interest check in my siggy so you can get a rough feel for what genre n shizzle I likes :3

For multiple people, posting is basically a random free-for-all after the GM makes their first post unless the GM imposes some kind of a rule about posting order. In terms of how to actually RP, you pick another player to interact with, and then involve people who join the interaction or do something that would affect it.

EDIT: An example of an interaction would be:

Bob talks to Alice
Steve can butt in, so he does
Bob, Steve, and Alice are now talking to each other.

...Something like that. It isn't too hard to grasp once you get into it, really.

Hmm, seems kinda messy D; what if P1 is doing something but p2 wants to but p1 has already written it down.. you cant really butt in if someone's already said something >.<

You can't really butt in conventionally unless you coordinate with someone in the OOC, ha. You can, however, join a conversation between posts.

Anyway, it isn't really as messy as it seems. And yeah. I just really suck at explaining things, so bear with me.

Haha fair enough then :3 I think I get it. Would probably have to put it into practice, I'm sure I'll get the hang of it eventually ^-^

Yup, perfect practice makes perfect, after all. I'd personally recommend joining someone else's RP to get in the motions of it, but making an RP works just as well, if not better due to the GM practice.

...Speaking of which, I might be able to help you with ideas if you wanna go the latter route. Maybe. Possibly. (EDIT:) Though if you do that it'd probably be better through PMs, since I don't think clogging the Interest Check forum without an actual idea for an RP is recommendable.
