Larkin squeaked and ducked down just in time for a beer bottle to smash against the door right where his head had been a second ago. The boy turned and fled out of the house, his father and mother's screams following after him. He clapped his hands over his ears and kept running, disappearing into the forest. He ran down the path he had taken countless of times but he was panicked and not watching where he was going. He gasped as he suddenly found himself falling and slamming onto the ground. He lay there gasping for a minute before he slowly picked his body up and continued trekking down the path. He looked around nervously. It was dark and with the trees grouped so close together it was hard to see through the gloom. But he couldn't go back...not until he was sure his parents had calmed down.

So the boy continued forward, wrapping his arms around himself as he went. Finally when he couldn't walk anymore he plopped down on a log and examined himself in the poor lighting. He was scratched on his face and neck by branches and when he rolled up his sleeve he saw he had a fierce bruise on his upper arm where his father had grabbed him. Larkin sighed and stood, looking around before he felt his heart drop into his stomach. He must have wandered off his path in the dark. He looked around at the unfamiliar scenery and tried to calm his racing heart and think rationally. He took a deep and tried walking back the way he came but he had not gone but a few steps when a growl rang out. The tiny boy froze in place, wide eyes darting around before he spotted the yellow eyes glowing at him from the darkness. The bushes rustled and a few wolfs appeared. Larkin whimpered and stumbled back before fear unlocked his joints and he turned. bolting in a random direction. There were howls as they wolfs gave chase. Larking crashed through the undergrowth, breath panting harshly from his lungs as he pushed himself to run faster. He broke free of the forest and found himself in a small clearing but it was then that a weight landed on his back, sending him tumbling to the ground. Larkin shrieked in fear as he felt the wolf's warm breath on the back of his neck and he squeezed his eyes shut, tears spilling down his pale cheeks.

Loryzeit stood on all four legs in wolf form, snarling with his long sharp teeth baring as he slowly stepped out off the dark woods into the clearing. Taking a rather powerful pose he made a booming howl, " Leave him ALONE! " he barked plunging at the group of sliver wolves that hung over the smaller males body. His pure black shined in the waxing moons light as he flew over Larkin takleing the stupid wolfs. He batted two of the ten canines to the side with his paw as one bit his back and another bit his back right leg, a pain filled howl filled the air as the teeth stabbed into his back and leg. His deep blood red eyes shot open as he once more made a earth shacking howl scaring off most of them, the last one hung from his back. Shaking the other black wolf off her looked at the crying human, closing his eyes he threw the mutt onto a tree as he went back into human form kicking the idiotic thing with an upset face, " The rabbits are your food mutt.. " the red eyed werewolf said with a weak face. His messy black hair was filled with leaves and twigs and as he shirtless torso was scratched and scared with a bit mark covered in blood in the center of his burnished back. Sharply turning around the dirt and blood cover male stood smiling sweetly to the younger male. He paced over to the sliver haired male and lifted him, placing him gently on his feet. " Now, be careful in the woods at night silly... " he said with a rather upset with him tone and face " My name is Loryzeit I-- " Lory's words cut off as a sharp pain in his back shocked him as he fell onto the blue eyed male wrapping his arms around his neck loosely. The black hair male made sure they stayed standing so it wouldn't get more awkward then the fact he was kinda hugging him. Loryzeit had seen him taking a path though the wood almost everyday, but that doesn't mean he can just hug him like that, even though he was extremely weak at this point. He just pushed himself no far this time, but he didn't want to see a cute guy like him die right in front of his nose. Releasing Larkin he took a few steps back with his hand over his eyes " I need something to eat " he stated thinking food is the answer to everything.

Larkin tensed, preparing to feel the pain of teeth at his neck but it never came. A thunderous howl filled the clearing and the boy felt the weight lifted from his back. He shakily rolled onto his back and into a sitting position, eyes widening at the scene in front of him. A large black wolf was batting at the smaller wolves like they were flies. Larkin watched as the black wolf was bit but still managed to fight off most of the wolves. Then he witnessed something that made him rub his eyes and pinch himself just to make sure he wasn't dreaming. The wolf...turned into a boy maybe a few years older than Larkin himself. He watched the boy kick the wolf in the face before turning to face him. Larkin flinched, scooting back slightly as the male came over to him and lifted him to his feet. He gazed up at the boy with wide, unbelieving eyes. He then let out a high-pitched yelp when the boy suddenly stumbled forward and fell into him, almost knocking Larkin to the ground. He was soon released and Larkin backed up a few inches, eyes even wider than before. However, when Larkin saw how hurt the boy was his kind side quickly overrode his fearful side and Larkin hurriedly stripped off his hoodie. He shivered at the coldness of the night and stepped for timidly and pressed the cloth against the wound with gentle, albeit trembling hands.

A shiver went up the males spine as the cold cloth touched the bite mark calming down noticing he was stopping the blood from running down his back. He closed his eyes and accepted the humans kindness, to the black haired werewolf it kinda felt like as if he was patting him. The red eyed male was a little limp from the deep bite on his ankle, bring the leg close to his face he ripped off a piece of his already torn jeans and tied it just a little too loosely around the bite, not caring if it stopped quickly or not, but knowing the animals of the woods they'd probably fix it anyways. With one blood red eye sharply opened he looked at the human holding the sweater down on his flat back as he put on hand on his well built body to pat his never full stomach. " L-Let me finish what I was s-s-saying " the male spoke in his low tone voice with a stutter of weakness mixed in, " My name is Loryzeit, I'm a half wolf, and I protect the woods, the r-rule following animals, a-and the humans th-that wander in h-here... I'm there guardian... " He said with a dog-like smirk on his moonlight loving skin tone, his voice sounded truth full and loving as the smirk turned into a sweet smile. A little night time breeze made his think hair dance a bit as he glanced over at thee quiet boy, " You are? " he asked in a soft tone with his smirk again once again apon his very pale skin.

Larkin watched as the boy, Loryzeit, tied a loose bandage around his foot and the boy frowned. He gently took one of the boys hands and pressed it against his hoodie to hold it against the wound before he kneeled down and gently unwrapped the make-shift bandage. Larkin examined the bite and gently wiped as much blood away as he could before wrapping the bandage around the would tightly to stanch the blood flow. That done, he stood up again, eyes widening at what Loryzeit said. Well, him being a half-wolf would certainly explain what Larkin saw earlier. "I-I'm Larkin." The boy said softly before he blushed. "T-Thank you f-for saving me."

The black haired werewolf accepted the touch of his hand to his hand to move it to hold the cloth down as the young human fixed it even though he didn't have to.

The male let out at bark like laugh when he saw the boy blush over his question, when he laughed his hair flew forward as well his head. There was a light chuckle following his laugh as he brought his head back up, looking at the human after hearing the kids name. A smirk like smile cracked across his face as he looked at his shy blue eyes with his deep, sharp red eyes, " Well Larkin, your welcome, its was nothing, and one more thing.. " the much taller male took the sweater and threw it over over his shoulder that was caught by a deer's horns before it touched the ground. " You. Are. ADORABLE!! " the wolf fangirled picking up the shorter male into a tight, friendly hug. Putting the male down after he noticed how awkward the probably was for the human he lightly chuckled and patted him on the head, then a little more embrassed face slapped over is happy one as he told Larkin " You know the first time I ever saw you run into these woods from the village-thingy, I wanted to hug you because you were crying, and every time after that too... I know we just meet Larkin, but can you tell why you cried? " the male looked away form him as he said those words, turning his face back is the sliver haired boys direction he grabbed his arm quickly not caring if he disliked it pushing his sleeve up his arm to see multiple bruises, scars, and healing cuts up his arm. He had a look of disappointment on his face as he locked his eyes to the boy face he asked " If someone is doing this to you Larkin, I don't want you to go back.. because I don't like to see you cry.. " he fixed his sleeve then pulled him into a lighter hug then the last one.
