"So, just go in and find the "relic" in the next world?"

"Of course. Same as the other worlds you've been to. I'll be sending someone to accompany you this time, seeing as you almost failed the other two missions..."

"H-Hey! I'm pretty sure I can handle it this time, I learn from my mistakes and stuff."

"Whatever you say Kaika-chan. Just don't lose sense of your task at hand...."

It wasn't long until Kaika would find herself standing in some gigantic forest. Heck, these might be the biggest trees she's seen ever in her life. Alright, search, get the relic, and get the hell out. Simple enough. No battling Templars, no logic duels against Witches. Though what was that Nero told me? Titans? Meh, I'll figure out later... Kaika thought as she also realized she was in her 'Violet Assassin' getup. Surely the black clothing would help with hiding. All she needed to do was figure out where exactly she was before advancing her mission task.

Quickly, she put on her hood, concealing her face and hair, and took cover behind a tree and surrounded by bushes. Closing her eyes, she activated her "sixth sense," and waited for any signs of life would come by. She was sure that someone would come by, she could feel some sources of energy faintly...and for some reason...she felt like one of those energies was a part of something big...

A large group of soldiers on horseback made there way through the forest, a large titan (Eren) wlaking behind them, keeping watch for any other titans, and the female titan.

Levi saw something out of the corner of his eye and stopped, but thought nothing of it and kept on going.

They were headed back to the abandoned castle, which was their temporary HQ.

Nothing much I guess...just soldiers. I mean, maybe there's something going on in this forest that I don't really understand here...wait a minute...what's that aura I'm feeling? Kaika thought to herself as she only felt the energies of the soldiers from her sixth sense (imagine this to be like an Eagle Sense), but paused as she felt something that stuck out from the group. It was coming from the large figure that happened to be with the soldiers, was this a Titan that Nero mentioned about? Silently staying put in her hiding spot and not daring to let a single breath of air escape her lips, the aura of this Titan was unique...in fact. Gotcha...his aura, or whatever that is, it has an aura of energy that's similar or alike to the relics I've been collecting. Maybe that's the key to it in this world...but I'm pretty damn sure that those soldiers are working with it, so it wouldn't be smart to just swoop in and take him with me. Guess all of that training to be an Assassin is going to pay off here... Kaika thought with a slight grin under her face mask, pulling the hood a bit more over her head before stealthily following these soldiers, taking cover under the thick bushes. Her "sixth sense" was still activated, so she kept her eyes closed, or her glowing eyes would certainly give her position away. That reminds me, where the hell is my backup?...I guess we got separated when we got here, so hopefully they haven't run into trouble yet... Kaika thought as she continued to sneak loosely behind the group.

Armin, who was nearest Eren and leading a horse, looked up at Titan Eren and whistled a signal, which alerted Eren that he could form back.

Eren took a deep breath and he morphed back into his human form, running over and hopping onto the horse that Armin had for him. The group was nearing HQ.

Kaika kept on silently following them from the shadows, though she could feel the aura of the Titan shift into one of a human. Well...that answers my curiosities there...apparently one of their soldiers can turn into those...Titans...might keep that in mind, but I still don't have a real good way to get close unless...oh yeah! Those soul linking seals that Nero taught me, maybe if I could go into the Spiritual Plane and tap that seal on him somewhere, it's not like anyone would see me in the Spiritual World plane, but it would sting a bit for that guy. But it's worth the go, I mean, I'm sure I won't lose track of him once our souls are linked...but I just have to hope that some of my traits or even my presence won't be noticed by him once I try this... Kaika thought as she stopped moving and focused energy to herself. Soon, she would transition to the Spiritual plane, where she wouldn't be seen by anyone in the Living World, which was the soldiers. She was like a ghost now, so she simply ran up to the soldiers, more specifically Eren. Performing the process without a problem, a seal would appear on the left side of Eren's neck, and also the same seal would appear on Kaika's right hip. To Eren, he would feel a slight stinging feeling, as if something was being pierced into him for a split second, then the pain would suddenly fade away. With that done, Kaika quickly ran back to the cover of the thick bushes, and felt herself being returned to the Living World where she was visible once more. At least she was behind some places to hide again, and wondered what would happen now since she had linked their souls to each other.

Eren flinched a bit as the pain seared into his neck. Once it faded he shook it off, thinking it might have been just a kink in his neck. He talked with Armin, who didn't seem to notice, as the group traveled up and to the entrance of the HQ castle.

That actually went better than expected...I wonder how long it would take for them to realize that there's something on his neck... Kaika thought before continuing to follow loosely behind the group, making sure that she was always in some sort of hiding place before advancing a bit. She exited out of her "sixth sense" as the link between her and Eren would cover for that, using the "link" to guide her behind the group without a problem.

The gates opened and the riders dismounted, guiding thei horses into the stalls. Eren, and everyone else, was still oblivious to the mark. As Eren took everything off of his horse, he was met by an energetic and quirky Hanji. Hanji asked him about everything about the mission, which Eren gladly told the older soldier.

Guess I'll be doing some recon until I know what the hell is going on here... Kaika thought to herself as she stayed put and listened for anything of valuable information while hiding. This would take a while...

A loud thud could be heard as a young boy plummeted from a nearby tree close to the HQ. "Ow...." he muttered and tried not to give into the pain. He only appeared to be 12 years old, and had a messenger bag with him. Luckily whatever he had with him, it didn't all tumble out of the bag, but he felt too sore to get out of there and hide. This was a friend of Kaika, and his name was Takahisa Yakao. Apparently out of all of the Pact Bearers, Takahisa was the youngest one out of the bunch.

Sasha heard the thud and looked around. She spotted the boy and smiled, skipping over to him. "Hi!" she said, smiling cheesily.

Eren told Hanji about the titans that they had seen earlier, but thanks to the gas that she had dispersed into the area, they weren't hostile.

"Oh...hi..." Takahisa said with a nervous voice. He carefully got up, that fall was disorienting. Though, he also made sure he had his bag with him. "Er....where am I?" He decided to ask, seeing that this girl was nice so far. He also wondered where Kaika was, a little worried that he was on his own.

Yeah...sounds like they battle these Titans...maybe I could battle a few myself later on...just so I know what I am dealing with... Kaika thought as she continued to eavesdrop from her hiding place,

Hanji smiled. "Did the gas affect your Titan form?"

Eren shook his head. "No, I guess because of my meterage I wasn't effected.

Sasha smiled. "You're at the Survey Core Head Quarters!" she said. She held out a baked potato. "Want one?"

Kaika kept on listening, a little interested by how Eren happened to have a Titan form.

"I-I'm good..." Takahisa politely declined the offer,"Oh...erm, my name is Takahisa Yakao." If this was a HQ, he guessed it would be a good idea to stick around here, since Kaika was nowhere near him to help. He was sure that this girl was safe to be with, but wondered on who else was there to meet here...

Hanji spotted the mark on Eren's neck and giggled. "Oh Eren!" she sang. "You haven't been partaking in the soldiers' antics with marking themselves up, have you?"

Eren, tilted his head. "What do you mean?"

Hanji held up a small mirror and giggled at Eren's facial expression when he saw it.

Sasha smiled. "Come on, you can meet the others, they'd love to see a younger face around here, seeing that we haven't been inside St. Rose's walls for three years..." she turned, beginning to walk. "You can meet Bertholt, Jean, Connie, Levi, Eren, Mikasa, Armin, and all of the others too!"

The moment that Eren would see the mark, a brief flashing of an image came up to his eyes, where he would briefly see someone in a black hooded coat, and then everything came back to reality again.

For a moment, Kaika gritted her teeth as a brief wave of nausea washed over her, but was able to shake it off like nothing happened. That hurt like a bitch...but I'm pretty sure that he would be confused...at least there isn't much that he would figure out from now...to them, it's just some marking that someone could had drawn... Kaika thought as she refocused herself and stayed put in her hiding place.

"Sounds like a lot of people you know..." Takahisa managed to show a smile, walking alongside Sasha. Readjusting the bag so it would be in a comfortable position for him to carry, he hoped that this would be all well.

Eren blinked in confusion. "I could have sworn..." he looked around. "Hanji I have to go..."

Hanji waved goodbye. "See ya!"

Eren jogged off towards the building a few meters away from the stables.

Sasha spotted a tall guy with two toned brown hair and smiled. "Jean-kun!!!!" she called, running to him.

Jean turned to see the girl and smirked. "Looking for more food?"

Sasha paused. "Yes, but no." she motioned towards Takahisa. "I just found this little boy out in the woods."

Jean looked down at him. "Hmm.... Erwin will know what to do with him. Maybe he'll allow him to train under Rivaille Heichou.

"Who's talking about your corporal behind his back?" a voice said behind them.

Jean froze. "C-Corporal!"

Sasha turned and laughed. "Hello, Hiechou!"

Levi looked at the boy. "Who's the runt?"

Sasha smiled. "This is Takahisa!"

Levi grunted and returned to patrolling.

Another boy with buzz cut hair came up to them, carrying a water bucket. "Hey, Sasha!"

Sasha beamed happily. "Hi Connie!"

Well, that's enough recon and sneaking around...I can always come back here, I am linked to his soul after all...maybe I'll look for one of those Titans and fight it myself...shouldn't be as hard as the Shadow Replicas... Kaika thought to herself as she scurried away from the HQ and deeper into the forest. She had already spent a bit too much time just hiding around.

Just like how he was with the other Pact Bearers and even at school, Takahisa was terribly shy, and not once did he speak as he soon met with the others that Sasha knew. Not sure on what to do himself, Takahisa kneels down and goes through his bag, seeing that the jars of certain different medical mixtures were still safe and intact.

Eren wandered through the halls of HQ.

Sasha looked down at Takahisa. "Guys, this is Takahisa, I found him just in the woods outside of the HeadQuarters."

Connie smiled. "Nice to meet you, I'm Connie."

Jean smirked charmingly. "Jean."

Sasha motioned towards where Levi was. "That was our Corporal, Levi Rivaille. Stay on his good side, or else you'll get a boot to your face."

A blonde haired boy walked over. "Has anyone seen Eren?" Armin asked. The tactician looked down to see the boy. "Oh, who is this?" he asked, smiling warmly at him. (BTW: Armin's really the only one you can expect not to fly off the handle or have a temper)

After a bit of running, Kaika could tell that she was quite far away from the HQ, so she could do this without having others hear or even observe what was about to happen. From where she stood, she could see one of those large Titans that those two were talking about.

"Looks like I'll be finding out just how to battle out these Titans," Kaika grinned under her mask, her hood covering her face. Using a burst of energy, Kaika lifted herself into the air, generating a large energy blade that she used to ruthlessly swung the weapon at the Titan near her. At first, it didn't do much as the regeneration kicked in, forcing Kaika to back away and land onto a tree branch. "Heh, regeneration? Then there's gotta be a weak spot," Kaika said before jumping back in, using her energy to keep herself in the air as she slashed continuously at the Titan until it feel, apparently after a deep slash into the back of it's neck. After that, Kaika landed onto the ground safely, the energy blade disappearing.

"Well..that was fun," Kaika laughed a bit to herself, deciding to quietly head back to the HQ for some more snooping around.

Brief flashes of images occur to Eren again, this time showing a bit of the fight between a single Titan and the black hooded figure, including the strange energy powers the black hooded figure possessed. Then it all went away as if it never occurred to him.

"O-oh...hi everyone...I hope I'm not...going to be a bother..." Takahisa nearly stuttered at his words, seeing as these people were introducing themselves. He closed the bag, seeing no reason to check his belongings for now. That was when another came up to him, and this time, he managed to perk up his self-esteem to speak.

"I-I'm Takahisa Yakao...I just happened to wake up near this place..." he tried to introduce himself.

Armin smiled warmly. "I'm Armin. I'm the Tactician here." He looked at the others. "I'll take him someplace where he can stay until we can see what Erwin wants to do."

The others nodded and said their goodbyes, walking off to do their duties.

Armin looked down at him . "Where do you come from? You don't seem to be a member or civilian of St. Rose or St.Maria."

Eren leaned against the wall. "What's happening to me?"

Marco walked by, stopping in front of Eren. "What's up?" (Oh, you know what I said about Armin? Marco as well.)

Eren shrugged. "Nothing...noithing..."
