[OOC] When the Storm Breaks ~ PopeAlessandros x Oskar DiLondra

Okay, this is a 1x1 RP between PopeAlessandros and Oskar DiLondra so if you are not us, please don't post! Also. M/M, don't like, don't read!

Base Idea: Elementals of opposing elements come together to battle one another, but they both weaken the other to the point where neither can fight. Nor can they return to where they came from until they are strong enough.

M'kay, so we start with that idea up there. . . Any idea what elements you want in this world? Should we go with the base 4, 6, or one of those odd larger numbers that breaks elements down into parts(Eg. Water and Ice are separate elements)?

I love the name! fantastic!

As with the elements, I think it would be good to have ones different from the base, but not too expansive that it becomes confusing and difficult. Whatever you'd prefer, what did you think when you thought of the idea?

Well, the base six I like working with are: Life, Death, Fire, Water, Earth, Air. So some natural additions to those could be Light, Dark, Nature(Covering plants and trees and flowers and such), Flesh(Covering beast and fish and birds and people), Energy(Covering lightning and the like), and Nothing(Covering the absence of all other elements). What choo think?

I like the sound of that, those sound perfect to me. Absolutely perfect. Now, which one to choose...

Well, the direct oppositions are Light - Dark, Life - Death, Fire - Water, Earth - Air, Nature - Flesh, and Energy - Nothing. I can play Dark, Death, Water, Air, Nature, and Nothing fairly well, so. . . .If you wanna be one of those, I will try my best to play the other :P Or, pick one you wanna play opposite to :P

I like the sound of life-death or energy-nothing, and I could play either the life or energy aspects, whichever you'd prefer.

So how about we go with the simpler one and I be Death, you be Life? That work?

Yeah, that sounds perfect, but we may need to start it later, as I need to get some sleep. Sorry...

But I should be back soonish, maybe in around 10 hours or something.

I'll prolly be asleep myself around then, so see you after sleeps! We still need to work out a basic outline for this world thing, and do some character sheets(I do those last, if you don't mind), then we'll be set!

M'kay, so we're Death and Life. . . .Do you want to take our battle to the mortal plane or should we go with a more specialized place for our battle. The mortal plane gives us mortals to interact with when we get stuck, and the specialized place makes it so we have to interact with one another if we don't want to be all alone. . . I kinda like having side characters to use, so I more see us on a mortal plane.

Yeah, a mortal plane you be good, except not somewhere overly-populated, say, a run down apartment building, full of small time drug dealers and other various criminals; small village, where we are outcasted by most; castle of a mad king, where only he and a few servants reside.

Whatever you'd prefer to do.

I was thinking more along the lines of an open place, away from mortals so that we don't attract too much attention and don't have to temper ourselves. Like a forest, or jungle, or open plain. Somewhere where we have plenty of room to work with, and plenty of elements to interact with.

Yeah, that sounds best, sorry about the gaps in between my replies, it should become more stable now...

Possibly Jungle? That sounds the most interesting to me.

No problem. It normally take about 1-2 days per response for my anyways, due to the shear number of RPs I'm doing and the thought I have to put into some of these OOCs while I'm setting them up. So I don't mind.

Jungles are fun. All green and viney and with big trees. . . . . So, should we have the battle like, a couple days from the nearest settlement so after we get stuck we can have some other characters to play with eventually?

Yeah, a couple of days sounds good. Will the settlement be urban, village, medieval?

*Shrug* We'll see when we get there? I'm having a little issue with another RP partner over over planning, and while I like planning a lot, I don't feel like planning too far ahead at the moment.

It's okay, I understand, it's better for some things to be RPed, if you're having trouble with another RP, then take your time, it's fine. :)

It's not actually an RP, it's the OOC FOR the RP, and it's starting to get ridiculous. But, that is neither here nor there, so let's get back to us! So, um. . . . .I think it's almost character time.
