omg! so many freaks n fangs, Ariana texted to her twin, who was affectionately listed as "Nerd" in her contacts. Her lips were pulled into a pout and her eyes wide in worry and terror. Her family had been gone after helping her unpack for five minutes and, as she walked outside to enjoy the late summer day, she already felt like a lost puppy. Almost immediately she received a reply: "Relax. And for the love of God, DON'T draw too much attention." The teenager rolled her brown eyes before squirming out of her green backpack to slip the phone away.

Jace was literally jumping up and down in the seat of his black Mercedes-benz. He was excited, and that was an understatement. He pulled up at the school, marvelling at how huge it was in comparison to Seabay. This was going to be fun.
Jace stepped out of the car and walked over to the gates, swerving his way through supernaturals, books in hand.

Katherin was excited to see the human students that would be joining the academy. She could hardly wait to make new friends. She wanted to learn everything there was to learn about humans. She wondered what the others thought of the newcomers. She wondered what the newcomers thought of the students of the academy. Katherin hoped none of them were scared. Katherin made her way outside to watch the new students arrive.

Flint flopped his bag onto the bed and began to unpack. He placed down a large case that had some of his training equipment inside.
"I hope I can get my eye in this year, maybe find someone to help train with" Flint thought happily to himself as he unpacked his clothes into the drawer. Siding the case with his equipment in under the bed. He sat on the bed and bounced a little childishly. He looked over to the other bed and hoped he had been paired with someone nice. Maybe he would have the same interests and maybe he would become best friends with Flint.
Flint would soon realise that his room mate wasn't a "him" at all...
Flint flopped back into the bed, it was surprisingly comfy.

Ashley sat up in a tree, gazing down at the newcomers. "Awww...they're so cute and baffled!" She said to herself. "That must have been what I looked like!" She jumped down and landed on top of someone who then fell over. "Dammit, are you ok?!"

Ariana gasped in pain when she suddenly hit the ground, flat on her back and her bag at her side. "Oww," she groaned as she sat up, rubbing the back of her neck and then her head. Her gaze flickered to the culprit and her eyes narrowed into a glare. "The hell were you doing?" she demanded, pushing herself to her feet.

"Oh, god, sorry! Are you okay?" Ashley repeated, standing up and lending the girl a hand.

Ariana ignored the hand and brushed herself off as she stood, grumbling to herself angrily. Then, suddenly quiet, she placed her hands on her hips and eyed the girl--and her animal ears--for a moment. "What are you?" she asked, her eyebrows furrowing together in confusion.

"Panther hybrid." Ash said, almost matter-of-factly, changing from human to panther, and back again. "But my name is Ashley."

Ariana flinched as she morphed and took a step back. "Ashley..the panther hybrid?" she repeated with a wrinkle of her nose. "So, was your mom a cat and your dad a human or something...?" she wondered aloud, eyes slightly widened.

Ashley smiled. "It doesn't work like that.That'd be sort of...wrong. I was experimented on, in a lab. I didn't have a choice, I was beaten and manipulated. They injected panther blood into me. Luckily, I managed to escape before they experimented on me any more. Dismal, I know. But it's pretty cool."

Ariana blinked, the disgust on her face giving way to realization--she was as easy to read as a picture book. "Oh," was all she said for a moment. "I see. Is everyone here like that?" she asked then, the tension in shoulders slightly melting away.

Ashley shrugged. "No, don't think so. Vampires are bitten, and hybrids are usually experiments but some are just born this way. I know a demon who was born in hell, and bought to Earth. Things like that." She looked at Ariana. "I got told your school burnt down- how?!"

And Ariana was back to wrinkling her nose and even shivered a bit. "Ugh," she muttered. She opened her mouth to ask about the demon, but was cut off by Ashley's question. "Oh, uh..I'm not sure," she admitted. "I'm pretty sure it was some stoner kids, though." She nodded assuringly and rolled her eyes a bit. "Little shits..."

Sandra chuckled and clapped with glee, she was in fairy form, observing a man that was now lying on the ground. She had made him slip in a puddle, then a vine pulled him down onto solid concrete! He had passed out and was now bleeding steadily! Oh it was great! And the best part, she had easily tricked his sleeping mind to think the ground was a model. And now he was kissing it!

She patted his shoulder gently and her hand started to glow, now healing his wounds and waking him up. "Morning sleepy head! From what looked to be your schedule your late for some introductory class! Good luck explaining!" She giggled and flew off, now heading to her dorm. This was going to be so exciting! When she found her roommate she would have all kinds of fun!

Flint began to imagine what he would do at the school, he wondered if there where any special classes. There must be right? Well maybe not for a human like him. He hoped he would meet some super natural friends, he hadn't really met any before and even if he had they where all so different and unique.
Flint rummaged into his bag and removed a small book from within, 1984 by George Orwell . he began to read as he looked to his watch, he had enough time to read a chapter before he needed to do anything.

Sandra flew up to the window of her dorm, looking in she saw a man that would be her brand new roommate. What a pleasant surprise! They must've switched to Co-Ed this year! A vine flew up from a bush, shattering the window. Sandra flew in, but she had made it an illusion, instead of being her she would be the worst fear of this man, at least, humanoid fear, walking into the room with a cackle.

Flint was rudely interrupted when a vine smashed through the dorm window.
He jumped back, dropping his book as he fell to the floor. An unimaginable horror began to crawl through the window.
Flint couldn't even get his head around what it was but his fear was enough for him to reach under the bed and remove the Target Pistol from its case. loading and firing off his entire clip of ten consecutive shots of .22LR. Before the creature got too close.

Erik walked up to Ariana, standing behind her with a smirk on his face, gazing down at the girl. He said, his voice deep as he watched the human," already telling the new me- well, students, about me?" A wicked grin colored his face as he looked down at the pathetic human. Old habits die hard. His sunglasses were firmly on his head, blocking out as much light as possible. It still gave him a nasty head.

The bullets passed through the creature, and now a limp, bloody fairy was lying on the ground, twitching slightly before just laying there, motionless. How sadistic of him! Welp, now he has to cry a bit over killing his roommate. She giggled on the inside and acted dead, the scene to him though would be much more gruesome, he would feel desperate and most likely miserable.
