[IC] Chaos

Seth came out of the woods after a few hours, his sword on his belt. He was about to head back to the roman camp, till he saw a pair of shoes on a banner then realized whose the were. He might not be good clumping tries poles were a different matter entirely. He took his sheath and his swor off his belt. He wrapped it around the pole and started to climb he grabbed the shoes and made his way back down. He walked over to the Apollo cabin and knocked on the door.

Ophelia was walking, still barefoot, back to the Apollo cabin when she saw Seth outside it. She assumed he was going there to see her, he hadn't really interacted any with the others, for what she saw at least. She hoped everyone had stopped bugging him. As she got closer, she noticed he held her shoes in his hand. She cleared her throat as she stood at the bottom of the steps looking up at him. She glanced back at her shoes, "You didn't have to do that... I could have grabbed them..."

She couldn't help but smile a little though, it was really nice of him. She walked up the steps and took them from him. Holding the laces, still tied together, she looked at him, "I never did get around to asking Jeremy..."

Seth shrugged, "really it was no problem not with the training we went through each day at least." He swallowed, "I rather not go to that subject I don't like talking about not in the least no matter how much I want to tell you I can't bring myself to tell you about it."

Ophelia smirked, "That's okay."

She didn't know why he wanted to tell her anything. They had just met after all and surely it was something traumatizing. She was most definitely not going to pressure him to tell her. She held her shoes behind her back, "Have you heard anything from the others?"

She hadn't had another vision about the attack on Camp Jupiter, which she could take as it wasn't horrible enough that the Gods wanted to show her or they just decided not to.

Seth nodded, "they said they had gotten every out it was a few days before the attack there on there way here it'll take a week to complete getting here." He smiled, "thanks about camp Jupiter if we didn't then we couldn't win this war we have to work together fully."

Ophelia nodded, "Well... I have a weakness for helping people...." She shook her head, "I couldn't see... it... and not tell you guys...." She shrugged, "I would have told you guys somehow... even if you weren't here."

Again the horrific images filtered into her mind. Maybe, before bed she could she what happens when the Titans get there find it is empty. That'd be pretty amusing or maybe, make sure that the Romans didn't get attacked on the way her. She leaned against her cabin door and looked at him, "Are you coming to the campfire? Apollo kids lead the camp songs, so the music is pretty great," She laughed a little, "I'm not sure if that is really Roman style but... It'll be fun... I was just grabbing my instruments and heading there."

Seth shrugged, "I don't really know Ophelia sounds more Greek and sounds like me and some Romans won't be welcome if we come and listen really." He only shrugged, "it mostly depends on the other Greeks opinion if they want us over or not really."

Ophelia walked into the cabin and grabbed a couple different instrument cases and walked back out. She looked at him and smiled, "For now, you guys are honorary Greeks. We are going to fight beside each... If we can't sing a few camp songs without animosity... We are going to get steam rolled."

She bit her lip thinking about what she saw happen to Camp Jupiter, "Besides... we don't know how long you guys are going to have to stay here... We might as well get comfortable."

She handed him the largest case she was holding, "So, it's decided, you're coming and you're going to help me carry all this," She teased.

Seth sighed, he wouldn't go alone though. He called Jeremy and Greg over, "you two your coming to the camp sing along I guess." They both let out curses in Latin, Seth laughed then switched to Latin himself "you really want to upset the gods or are you just trying to see who gets hit by listening first?" Seth laughed, the look on there faces was priceless he switched back to english.

Ophelia looked at them at they spoke in Latin. Her brain was wired for Greek. So this, was just mind boggling. She looked at the two boys when it seemed that whatever their complaints were, they were coming. She smiled, "And here I thought I was going to have to take two trips," She put down the cases she held and ran back into the cabin. She hand them each a case then picked up the ones she left outside and nodded, "Com along."

They reached the campfire and she walked them over to where the Apollo kids were sitting. Already there were a plethora of instruments between just the five of them. She smiled at them all, although, everyone seemed a little surprised at the arrival of the Romans. She told the three of them were to put her things than turned to the Greeks, "We are going to be with the Romans for quite sometime... Fighting beside them, living and working together. I figured we do something with them that didn't involve fighting or competition... Or anyone getting thrown in lakes," She glanced at the Romans and smirked.

She walked over to her cases, the first of her instruments she pulled out, was her violin. She prepared herself before starting their song.

Seth sat down where she had wanted him, Jeremy and Greg sat beside him. He smiled once he heard that last sentence, then he heard the music he and his friends looked at each other then smiled, they listen to the music for awhile. He saw each camper, he wasn't surprised not to see that many children of the big three because of the oath they had taken.

The five Apollo kids played through their instruments. Once it seemed like they played all of their own, they'd trade and be playing something new. Ophelia's instruments were a mi of new and old. She had a violin, cello, guitar, lute, harp, and lyre. She'd sit close to the Roman with her guitar whenever songs were sung in Greek. Normally, she'd sing along in Greek as well, but with the Romans, she decided to translate and sing in English. That way they could sing along as well.

Sometime later, the Apollo started to join the crowd and join friends on benches. Ophelia walked over to the Romans and sat down. She was still playing her guitar, giving the campfire some music, even though no one was singing.

Seth smiled at that, he told Jeremy to go get his bass in Latin. Jeremy soon emreturned with it, Seth got it out made sure it was tuned, then started to play he really didn't sing when he played his bass but the other two did, they recognized the old roman war tune easily but they didn't sing they just wanted to hear him play the song.

Ophelia laughed a little when Jeremy returned with a bass and handed it to Seth. She put her guitar down and ran over to the pile of instruments the Apollo kids left out. Grabbing her lyre, she joined the group and followed along. Music made sense to her, she always seemed to be able to find the proper melody or harmony. Languages made sense to her to, although, she couldn't actually understand any of them... But she could sing them. The two boys sang quietly and she joined them, harmonizing.

Seth did the final note, then put his base down. He looked at the other two guys by him, he smiled a little before putting his bass up. That's when he noticed the Greeks were listening. He let out a small chuckle before he grabbed the case and headed back to the roman campsite.

Ophelia smiled at Seth when they finished. She wasn't surprised that the Greeks turned to look. Latin was a beautiful language and very easy to sing. She nodded to the Romans as they stood and left, returning to their campsite. She walked over to her pile and started to pack things away. Once they were all in their cases she started to make her trips between the campfire and cabin to return all of her instruments.

Seth set down his bass, in his tent he walked back out to sit in front of a fire. He watched as two Romans were keeping there sword skills sharp by practicing. Jeremy came to sit down by him, "those were the good old days weren't they?" Seth smiled at that, "yah the old roman war song was a good song before it got replaced by others."

Finally, Ophelia was just lugging her harp back to the cabin. The other four Apollo kids were inside and smiled at her, "You were singing with Romans."

She nodded, "Ya... your point?" She asked as she placed her harp under her bed. Her half brother, Eric, shrugged, "You just don't normally sing without the rest of us..."

Ophelia laughed a little, "Well... Seth caught me singing alone in the clearing... and they were singing a song I didn't know and you know how I love a challenge." She smirked and started to get ready for bed.

Seth saw that some of the Romans were looking at him, "you don't normally play your bass in front of anyone." Seth raised an eyebrow, "so what maybe I wanted to play my bass." Greg sighed, "I'm just trying to figure out why?" Seth shrugged, "I just did alright."

Eric looked at her like he wasn't buying it as she climbed into bed. He shook his head, "You don't love challenges that must."

Ophelia cocked an eyebrow, "Do you have another theory? If so, please do enlighten me."

Eric kept quiet and rolled his eyes, "I'm going to observe before I say anything."

Ophelia laughed and rolled over on her bed, "What are you Athena's kid?"
