This is far from the truth. The real Vincent Croffin is a narcissist who could care less about the opposite gender, even looking down on them and labeling them "inferior". Even his own sister is no exception to this. He is highly manipulative towards those around him, especially to his family.
His relationship towards his maid, Selene, is quite interesting. On an external view, it appears that Vincent is over protective of the servant and cares as much for her like a lover.
