~Pulling up to the edge of the water Seishu drops the other male's hand and just looks at it. The breeze fluttering by doesn't seem to disturb the surface but as he watches Enasi reaches out and touches it gently. His eyes follow the ripples, each one growing fainter and fainter as it moves away.

It acts real too.

I wonder how long we can stay here.

I mean, is this like a human dream or nightmare?

Will it pass in moments?

Not wanting to pass up even a second in this new and exciting place Seishu looks around, throwing his arms wide so the breeze can caress every part of his body. Slowly, words find their way to his lips. “A brighter. . . light. . .” Suddenly a shock rocks his system as high overhead just what they needed appears in the “sky”. The land, water, and two guardians are bathed in the cool blue light of a full moon. Seishu's eyes water at the sudden brightness and for a moment he can't tear his eyes off of it. When at last he does the wonder inside him increases even more as Enasi's prediction proves true.

The lake drops off from the very edge, like a bowl. However the bottom of this sand colored bowl seems to be covered in gemstones. A myriad of colors dance and sparkle far below and Seishu smiles wide. Looking down at his own refection he watches as the gems seem to be a part of his dancing hair. With a chuckle he takes hold of the hem of his button-up, for some reason present even though in the real world he is topless, and in one smooth motion he pulls it off. His smile is warm as he looks to his counterpart. “ don't know about you, but I'm not going to miss this.” Leaning in close he whispers, “Join me. . .” before turning to the lake and following a fine graceful arc over the surface, he dives in with a faint splash.

The water is cool against his skin, but not cold. His pants don't feel uncomfortable even though in the real world they most likely would have tugged at him and felt rough in such a situation. His legs kick out behind him as he swims around beneath the surface.

Doesn't seem like I need to breath in this place.

He smiles and swims back and forth, waiting to see what Enasi chooses to do.~

Words couldn't describe the awe stricken feeling he had upon seeing the new found light. A large full moon made way in the sky, covering the void that Enasi was once afraid of. The little specks of light became brighter stars, all sprinkled out into the vast sky. It was truly breath taking. For what seemed like forever, the guardian was entranced with the moon, staring with bright eyes. Even Enasi had to admit that it was prettier than his realm. His gaze of course turns to the lake to see if his predictions were true, and when he noticed they were, Enasi grinned.

Not only could one see straight to the bottom, but colorful jewels decorated the lake floor. "Wow..." Enasi whispered as he gazed around the lake. Another faint breeze came, this time only to make him realize the vast field that had been created as well.

A large field of grass, a wonder out night sky, a gorgeous gem filled lake, and the only two people are myself and Seishu.

Enasi would've never thought this day would come- or any day like this for that matter. The darkness from before was already erased from his mind as he focused more on the new discovery. From the lake, Enasi watched Seishu's reflection. First he noticed the colorful addition to his hair, and then he noticed the male undressing. Curiously, he turned and listened. "Oh." Was his only response as Seishu prepared to jump into the lake. Before that, he found himself face to face with his counterpart.

Join him?

He echoed the invitation in his head, watching the male jump in and swim around. The water allowed him to see all of his movements going back and forth, and even how his hair seemed to flow as well. When eyes fell upon him, he blinked in response. "Maybe you're right... This could be a once in a lifetime thing." He spoke softly and stared into the water. Soon enough, he stripped of his shirt, setting it by Seishu's and then waded into the water unlike Seishu's dive.

The water felt nicer than usual, causing Enasi to want to swim around. As he did, he picked up jewels only to set them down and swim to another set. Quickly he noticed he didn't have to breath.

This place is amazing.

Enasi swam around, not paying much mind to Seishu as he swam, although when he did swim past he couldn't help but touch his hair- for only a few moments because he was then swimming around again.

"I wonder what else will manifest in our- well this little 'world'." He went above the surface and looked around to check and see if things had changed. Not seeing such, Enasi was swimming once more.

~Seishu watches, a faint giddiness floating around his veins, as Enasi joins him in the water.

Oh good, now we're a little more even.

I can now say I've seen him with his shirt off too

heh.

Swimming back and forth he hums softly to himself, his voice clear as it would be above the water. However the sound seems to reverberate through the water, giving the soft sound a deeper feel. His eyes follow Enasi as he moves deeper and deeper into the water. His attention seems to be caught by the beautiful precious stones lining the bottom of the lake and Seishu can not help but grin as he swims around picking them up.

Like a pretty little raven

Playing with it's shiny things.

He swims past the other guardian languidly several times, fascinated by the wonder in the other man's eyes. Somehow, as much as Seishu admires his own land, he's never managed the wonder that seems to radiate off of his counterpart.

However I feel I may be coming close.

On one such pass he feels a faint tug on his hair. Rather than an unpleasant feeling, the touch sends shivers through his body and he turns to look at the other male. Watching Enasi rise to the surface to check the area he smiles. Calling out he says, “I guess it only adds when we need it. I think right now, we have enough.”

Swimming carefully, as to not seem like he's stalking him, Seishu follows a short ways behind Enasi for a few seconds. When he looks close to the surface again Seishu darts forward, the water offering little resistance, and takes hold of the other's ankle. With a chuckle he pulls him down a little deeper towards the center before turning. Shifting his grip up to Enasi's waist so he can pull even in front of him he smiles at his counterpart. His hand relaxes into jut the ghost of a touch as his hair flares out around him. Almost as it it has a life of it's own it move to surround them both, brushing against Enasi ever so slightly. “So I suppose there is some part of me that you like, huh?” Shaking his head slightly his hair ripples along it's length. Turning his gaze upward he closes his eyes with a smile. The moon bathes the submerged duo in it's cool radiant light and in the softest voice he has ever used the Nightmare Guardian whispers, “This place, is perfect. . .”~

Occasionally, Enasi had caught Seishu's gaze as they swam past each other. He couldn't help but notice that his pale complexion seemed to glow in the moonlight. Compared to the pain and agony he had been through while he was awake, this Seishu was a lot more calm and peaceful. "I agree. I wouldn't even know how to top this perfection. Nothing needs to be added." He smiled at the new area once more and continued swimming.

As a force of habit, and instinct, the Dream Guardian went up to the surface for air. Just as he was up, all of a sudden he was tugged back down. Enasi yelped in surprise and a slight fear- though that quickly dissolved when he remembered that there was no need to be afraid. Warm hands touched his waist to pull him down closer. They were face to face, and closer than normal. This simple gesture provoked a slight tint to his cheeks, but he quickly suppressed it.

Then he noticed something. Seishu was saying something, but it never really sunk in. It sort of went in one ear and right out the other. Barely letting Seishu finish, Enasi tilted his head to right ever so slightly. His shorter burgundy flowed but of course not as much a Seishu. "Your eyes. They're silver. I've...never noticed. They're nice." He caught himself staring at his eyes, and quickly turned his gaze to his wild hair. It provoked a smile from Enasi and he listened carefully to Seishu's susurrant voice.

"To think...this was all just darkness before." He began to swim backwards, slowly separating and increasing the distance between them.

To think, I'd enjoy going to sleep.

~Through his fingers he can feel the physical response of the other male at being so close, the faint hum bringing a smile to his lips. Opening his eyes he stares up at the moon for a few seconds before looking back at his companion. His smile softens at the thought of Enasi ignoring his comment about his hair and instead comments on his metallic gaze. He blinks, a look of fondness flashing across his face and he offers no resistance as Enasi moves away from him. Even as the gap seems to widen unnaturally fast, Enasi seeming to fall back away from him, Seishu simply sighs, the sound inaudible and in a moment. . .~

The sigh passes into the waking world and Seishu lets out a long groan. “I dun' wanna wake up yeeeet. . . . .” He whines.

Suddenly there is a weight on his chest and a high pleasant voice calls down, “But I thought you hate sleeping?” Opening his eyes the guardian takes in the sight of the dream minion perched atop him, his wings fluttering once in a while to make sure he doesn't aggravate Seishu's injuries. Seishu gives him a slow blink before reaching up and with a finger to the forehead and a light push, topples the young minion on to the foot of the bed. Rue squeals in surprise but ends with a giggle as he bounces his way back up the bed to sit beside the Nightmare Guardian. “Hey, if you like sleeping now, does it have something to do with that energy you were giving off last night, huh? It woke my up, I thought someone had come in, but it was just you!”

Seishu freezes half way to sitting up as Rue updates him on last night's events. 'So, we make energy, well I do at least, when we meet like that. . .' Shoving his pillows against the headboard he finishes sitting up, his joints complaining loudly. 'I do not miss the stiffness, nope, I don't!' Rolling his eyes at himself he watches Rue shuffle around, working out his own stiffness much like a large cat would. The light coming through the window is low, like sunset, however since the sun never leaves the sky Seishu can only guess at how long he's been asleep. 'It can't have been long, maybe 3-5 hours. I've never slept longer than that, and it doesn't feel like it was longer than usual' The little minion pops up, scooting a bit closer to the edge of the bed before settling against the headboard like Seishu. Casting him a curious glance he asks, “So Little Bite, was it bad? Did the energy make you sick?”

Rue shakes his head vigorously. “Nope, it wasn't your kind of energy, it was different. It wasn't positive either, it was, something all together different. It wasn't good feeling, but it wasn't bad either. It was like. . .” His little face scrunches up in concentration as he tries to figure out the best way to describe it. Seishu raises and eyebrow and watches as the kid opens and closes his mouth repeatedly until at last he snaps his fingers. “I got it! It was like a hot cup of cocoa on a cold day by a fire, but the house has a cold draft so you huddles together with someone to keep warm, and you get all full of a fuzzy feeling, even though you're not exactly comfortable, you're not uncomfortable either.” With a nod he grins wide and stares at Seishu.

With a sigh Seishu tries to work out how that would feel, and after a few moments a thought crosses his mind. 'Together Enasi and I make up two halves of a whole, while the nightmares, dreams, and minions are purely of one side or the other. I suppose, what would make both of us completely content and comfortable would feel a bit off for any one of them' His gaze gets far away. 'I have to run this by Enasi, but I think I'm right on this. . . .And maybe we could come up with some stuff to try next time. . . .If there is one' His gaze drops to the covers in front of him and he mentally kicks himself at the sentimental thought that spring to mind. 'The perfection from last night could keep me content for the rest of my existence, even if I never see it again. . .'

Waking with a scream Gin looks wildly about Seishu's grand room. His heart races and moments later a group of minions loyal to him come rushing in to see what's wrong. “Get out, GET OUT!” He shrieks, and they quickly bow their way out of the room, a few practically fleeing. A fiery pain shoots through his hand and with a yelp he looks down at the faint symbol pulsating with an intense heat. The mark seems to fade a bit and his heart skips a beat, but an instant later it's back. 'What the fuck is happening to me?! What the hell was that?!' Bringing his hand up to his mouth he bites down hard enough on his forefinger to draw blood. After a few calming breaths he throws the covers back. “He's not dying. He just won't kick it, the fuck!?” Throwing on a pair of pants he stomps to the large ornate wooden doors that open to reveal the palace's main hall.

Like a fiery storm he pounds his way to the throne room and with a harsh growl he plants himself firmly in place on the plush cushions. With a snap of his fingers a servant appears, her many hands rubbing together nervously. “Bring me Lilium!” he barks and she bows low before scurrying off to do as she's bidden. It only takes a few minutes fore the tall dark haired woman to appear. Her black leather armor looks sharp and gothic, clinging to her figure and leaving no flesh exposed save her head and neck. She moves swiftly to the foot of the dais before dropping to a knee, he pitch black gaze looking to her lord questioningly.

With a motion of his hand he bids her to come closer. As she reaches the edge of his throne she leans in to listen carefully to what he wants her to do. “Go to earth, find me a Dream Minion. Pin it there somehow and send someone for me. I WILL find out what is going on over there, if I have to kill a thousand of those foul vermin to do it!” There is a faint note of hysteria in his voice, however Lilium simply nods in reply and exits the throne room quickly. He smiles at he retreating back, a chuckle of delight low in his throat. “Yes, I will have answers. . .”

Enasi's attention turned back to the gems once again. All was quiet, but it was a comfortable silence. With a red jewel in hand, he swam back to the surface. "Hey Seishu-" When he looked back. . . Seishu was gone. The Dream Guardian spun around in the water to see where he was- and all of a sudden, everything went dark again. Everything disappeared again, including the gem he had. Once again... He was back in the dark.

Those multi colored eyes fluttered open and with a yawn, Enasi sat up and stretched. It was no doubt that had been best sleep he had in forever. Enasi's messy bed hair made it evident. He looked around his room, and then at his hands. 'Was that...real?' Of course it was, Enasi just wanted to keep reminding himself of the experience as if it would erase from his memory. The guardian sat for a few minutes, replaying the beauty that he had witnessed.

When reality settled, it urged him out of bed and onto his feet. With a small sigh, he wondered just what he would do. He could go talk to Seishu, but it seemed too soon to speak of the events that occurred. Instead, as he walked out his room, he spotted Harper and his trainees, as that being what they were demoted to, coming toward the door. A curious look rested on the guardian's face as Harper approached with his own quizzical expression.

"Are you alright Lord Enasi? Just a few moments ago I felt this weird energy as I was going to your room. But it was gone a few moments you opened the door." Behind him, four ex-soldiers stood catching their breath. One of them, who seemed to be doing better than the other three, was Mado. There was a determined look in his eyes as he stood straight and held his head up. "Soldiers stand tall." Harper commented when he noticed some bent over.

Enasi tilted his head some toward the comment. 'Weird energy...?' It didn't take long for him to put two and two together. 'So that...created an energy?' "Um, was it bad?"

"Oh, no. I honestly don't know what it felt like. It wasn't your normal positive energy, but it wasn't negative. It's really hard to explain." With a nod from the guardian, Harper stepped to the side and glanced over at the four. "Their training has yet to be over, but the four did have something important to say." He crossed his arms and waited quietly. Each soldier gave a deep bow before speaking up their sincerest apologies. Each asked for forgiveness, and a blessing to become soldiers once more.

Enasi gave a smile, though a little unfocused due to wanting questions answered. "With such hard work, and me being able to see such sincerity, I forgive you all. But see to it that you go through this training as a reminder of your mistakes. There wasn't much else he could say, so he excused himself to go to. . .well, check on the Nightmare Guardian. It was his job to make sure Seishu didn't try anything 'suspicious' while he was healing- obviously that wasn't the reason why he wanted to check on him. As he walked off, he could hear Harper commanding them, "High knees! All the way outside!" After that, the halls were silent. 'It was perfect. I wonder if that'll happen again." He walked swiftly, trying not to appear too eager to ask him about the wonders they experienced.

The Dream Guardian would have made it sooner if he wasn't stopped by small otiose things. That, and he grabbed a quick snack from Cho. Because of the detours, an hour or so went by before he actually walked toward Seishu's door and pushed it open slowly. He smiled at Rue, and gave a nod to Seishu. As he went in, he realized he wasn't quite sure how to bring the subject into conversation. 'Soo... About... Yeaaah', was went through his head as he fumbled for a better start.

Rues bounces a little to get Seishu's attention. The guardian had been lost in thought for several minutes without noticing it, and the silence felt off to the little minion. As Seishu looks his way Rue shoots back a smile before asking, “So, um, what WAS the energy? Where'd it come from? I didn't know you could make any other kind of energy, y'know?”

Seishu thinks hard for a moment. 'Well, I could tell him what I THINK it is, but I don't think it's my place to talk about it around a subordinate not my own. It's up to Enasi what he wants his underlings to know about the workings at out level. . . .But then again, Rue is basically mine while I'm here so. . . .' His head bops back and forth as he bats around all the different options until at last he settles on what he thinks is best. Clearing his throat he looks to the little minion, who at the moment has his eyes wide and curious as the remain locked on the Nightmare Guardian. “Well, I can't tell you everything, but I will say that last night my sleep was different from any other sleep I've ever had, and it has something to do with being here, I think. Or at least, being in the proximity of a certain something.”

Rue nods vigorously. “Oh! Well, was it better than usual, or worse, or just different?” The boy keeps his questions vague in hopes that he can get a little more information out of the larger male.

Seishu presses a finger over his lip in thought, contemplating on weather or not to answer the question at all, however he is saved the trouble by the door opening. His gaze settles on his counterpart as he enters. 'Well, it's kinda obvious that he really was there last night. I can feel the tumble of emotions in there' Rue gives the guardian a little more time to think as he bounces up from the bed and runs over to give Enasi a hug. Seishu stick out his tongue at the happiness flooding the room, but stays silent as Rue starts telling Enasi about what he felt last night.

“Lord Enasi, you won't believe it, but last night something really weird happened! I was just laying there, having a really neat dream where Mister Seishu was teaching me sword fighting,” Seishu can't help but chuckle at the visual that brings to his mind's eye. “and before I knew it I was taking on this big beast, but then I woke up! There was this really weird feeling, and I thought it was a bad guy, and I was all ready to fight it off all by myself! And I could have too I bet, but that's not what it was. It turns out it was Mister Seishu! I looked at him, and he seemed all calm and stuff, not like last time I saw him sleeping where he looked kinda upset the whole time, but anyways, it was really different!” Taking a breath too fast to actually count as a break in his talking he continues. “When he woke up, I asked him about it, and he said he had a really different kinda sleep last night. I don't really know what that means, isn't all sleep the same? I mean it's sleep, right? But anyways he said is was prolly because of being here, or at least near something, which means he doesn't want to tell me, or he can't because he's like that. Then I asked him if it was better or worse than before, and I was waiting for the answer when you came in!”

When at last Rue pauses, his head whips around to Seishu expectantly. He saw this coming, but for some reason instead of looking to Rue to give his answer, the devious side of him draws his eyes up to his counterpart and in a smooth voice he says softly, but loud enough for them to head, “Best I ever had. . .” Rue cocks his head for a second but then smiles happily.

Before he could close the door, Rue was bounding and rambling at incredulous speeds. Well, it was obvious to tell he was okay. Enasi managed to hug him back, before Rue began his extravagant tale. As it went on, he listened carefully to the somewhat familiar things before.
'Harper said he felt weird energy as well.' Well that put a definite answer as to how lucid that dream really was...if it was even called a dream. He wondered what they would call that. The dream guardian tried keeping his mind focus while Rue rambled on, but every little thing the dream said made him think of something else dealing with it.

The door slowly closed and he leaned against it. "Uh huh... Really... That is something strange..." Enasi's responses were short, and seemingly distant. His mind wandered to his peaceful sleep, and he couldn't help but give a goofy smile.

Rue noticed his guardian's behavior and gave a confused look. His eyes went to Seishu for an answer, but immediately turned back to Enasi. "Are you alright Lord Enasi? You seem kinda spacey. Were you even paying attention?" Rue crossed his arms and pouted some. Why were both the guardians spacing out today!? This sleep thing must've really been awesome. The boy looked between the two guardians, waiting for one to speak up and explain themselves.

Enasi heard Seishu's comment but kept his eyes on Rue as he spoke up. "Oh, sorry Rue. I was just thinking about what you said. It's just interesting because I had a really, really nice rest too." He smiled at the boy and Rue grew even more curious. Enasi was followed to his usual seat. As he sat down Rue rocked on his toes standing in between the guardians. It wouldn't be bad to tell one soul about his new dream, besides, Rue probably wouldn't go around screaming it to the heavens. Before he began to explain, in order to calm the kid down, he glanced at Seishu.

"Well kiddo, if I'm not mistaken, I think for the first time ever, he had a dream."

"What do you mean for the first time ever? Everyone dreams don't they?"

Enasi gave a gesture of "mostly everyone." "I think everyone dreams except Seishu... And I." There was brief hesitation in his voice as he included himself. Before he could continue, Rue dramatically gasped out at such news.

"That's horrible! And especially for you! Why can't you? Is it bad? Is that why I don't see you asleep when everyone else is? I always wondered why you roamed so much! But when you do fall asleep, you don't wake up for hours! But is that why you always lock the door? I've always wanted to lay in your bed, it looks so soft and nice- What happens when you two normally sleep then!? This is-" Rue felt a hand on his head and with a pleasant smile Enasi spoke up.

"I'll tell you, but you must listen carefully alright?" To show that he understood, Rue climbed in bed with Seishu and got comfortable by his side in order to listen to him. "Okay. There is no definition of why we can't dream. . . But I think it's some sort of curse. Normally, when I- we are both asleep, we only see darkness. It's kind of scary. But this time," Enasi gave a small content sigh and glanced over at Seishu. "I think because we're so close...we got to experience a dream, um, together. It was, rather nice." He found himself thinking about Seishu's hair and his eyes, but he quickly refocused before his mind could wander too far.

Seishu cocks his head, curious about hoe distant the other guardian seems to be. 'He could be a million miles away with a gaze like that' When at last he seems to come back to reality the Nightmare Guardian smiles at the fact that Enasi didn't really seem to respond to his earlier teasing. He watches the other closely as he sits down in his favorite chair in the relatively well furnished room. He meets Enasi's gaze when he looks over in his direction and with a sigh Seishu settles against his pillow more firmly. 'I'm curious as to what he wants to tell the Little Bite. I mean, I held my tongue about it before, but if he is willing to share it all. . . I wonder what it was like for him. . . .' He listens quietly, watching his mood as he speaks.

Like a snake bite a pain lashes across Seishu's heart when Rue adds “especially for you” and yet again a deep resentment for his counterpart makes itself known deep inside him. 'Ah yes, because his like is nothing but smiles and joy, and all those other pleasant things, and it's just a give-in that my life is that much worse' A low growl deep within goes seemingly unnoticed beneath Rue's rambling and by the time his prattling is put to an end Enasi manages to stifle it. He even manages to pull back his energy when the little minion decides to snuggle up to him for story time. 'Must send for Doc after this. I can feel the pain killers slipping. I should be fine for now though. . .'

Seishu can't help but smile back at the almost blissful expression on Enasi's face when he begins talking about the dream thing. When his counterpart stops talking Seishu begins without missing a beat. Rue's head swivels around to listen better. “Beyond darkness, there simply is nothing. Then there was a feeling, a pull.” He hols his hand up and runs a finger across the Yin on his hand. Rue gazes at I with innocent wonder. “I followed the pull, and then came sound. I heard it, my own breathing, my own footsteps. Then I saw it. . .” He turns to look at Enasi with a half smile. “A little Sparkler sitting all alone in the dark, claiming that the sight of me somehow means he must be losing his mind.” He lets his gaze drop. “I didn't mind though, it was nice to hear anything at that point. . . .Though I'm sure if it was anywhere but there I would have gotten pissed, or at least had a comeback better than what I said.” Rolling his eyes he looks back to Enasi and motions that it's his turn in the narrative. Rue follows the gesture and stares at his lord happily.

He leaned against the chair, listening to Seishu's addition to the tale. As he spoke, each part replayed in his mind. He too felt the pull from his Yang symbol, but he chose to stay curled up and quiet. Being referred to as an 'it' made him raise an eyebrow, and then he rolled his eyes at being called a 'little sparkler', but it went more or les unnoticed with Rue watching Seishu. Enasi knew that by then, he still didn't realize that he could hear and speak, so the comment was meant for his own mind, but it was shared aloud anyway. Enasi's gaze went to Seishu as his dropped. He was still listening, taking in every word, replaying it bit by bit. A small smile appeared when he thought of Seishu saying he didn't mind seeing him, but he'd keep that little piece between them.

As his 'turn' came around, both pairs of eyes settled on him. Enasi even seemed to miss the little 'tease' or 'jab'- whatever it was, he wasn't really bothered by it. Rue had a questionable look as if he was going to ask something, but Enasi began and Rue seemed more interested in that.
"So after a few moments of being near each other. The little tugging feeling faded, and we were just sitting there. At first." Rue leaned forward as he paused, kind of dramatically. "Well, first we could hear each other. Steps, movements, and breathing. But then we felt grass under our feet, and soon enough little lights were dotted everywhere. Little by little, more and more was added to the dream. A wonderful lake with the prettiest gems- you would be amazed by such beauty of all of it. And then the full moon too. It was nice." Enasi explained in a gleeful and reminiscent tone. Even though his voice gave away his happiness he was careful not to let it spread and his voice never rose any louder than it already was.

"You wouldn't believe how amazing it was when it was all over." He then grinned playfully and leaned over on his chair towards Rue. His leaning, made Rue lean closer and he subconsciously held onto Seishu so he didn't fall over. His voice softened to a whisper when he continued. "Don't tell anyone, but I don't think I've ever seen such a nice thing- not even here." Rue dramatically gasped and sat up.

"Whoa, I can't imagine anything more nice than our home." Rue looked over at Seishu and then tilted his head like a curious puppy. "Did you think it was as beautiful as Lord Enasi said? It sounds wonderful. What's your home like?" He decided to add since he brought up their nice Dream Realm.

Enasi's eyes wandered toward Seishu. He held a more curious expression rather than a mesmerized one as he focused on the white that cascaded down his head and past his back. A lot of his hair was hidden from view, but because he had been stuck bedridden, strands went about. From what he could see, the dream was pretty vivid and accurate. There was no moonlight to give him that 'glow', nor were there any suppressants to their energies.
Rue was still waiting for his question to be answered, and Enasi sighed softly, waiting as well. He too was a little interested to know what the Nightmare Realm was like.

His eyes almost glaze over as Enasi describes the scene in their dream. His mind seems to fold back into that moment and a faint smile comes to his lips. 'Is funny, a part of me misses that place so badly, and how I felt around Enasi there, however. . . .The thought of actually doing those things here, in this reality, feels far less appealing. Being so close, and so open. I didn't even think about it then, but I didn't have to hold back. . . I'm not even sure there was anything TO hold back' Glancing back at the Dream Guardian his lips press together. 'I'll ask him if he noticed. . .Not that the moron even thinks to notice stuff. . . .like. . . .Crap, I need my pain meds, I feel like biting him'

A low sound rumbles in the back of his throat as Rue's hold on his energy slips even as he hold on Seishu's arm tightens. His eyes go down to the place where Rue is holding and his lips slips between his teeth. Just as he begins to contemplate just how to dis-articulate the little fist the hand lets go and Seishu's gaze is brought up to meet a pair of huge curious eyes. 'My realm? I know I've told him a bit about it. . .' His gaze travels to Enasi who seems to be looking Seishu over rather than at him. 'He really does like my hair' He can't hold back a grin at the thought and after a moment of gathering his thoughts he looks back to Rue.

“Yes Little Bite, it was very beautiful. In fact, it was a lot like my realm. I guess since the place was suppose to be neutral, it stayed dark.” Rue cocks his head, his brow furrowing. “Well, we deal with sleeping people mostly, and since most people sleep at night? Or that's my theory anyways.” Gesturing to the ceiling above he continues. “Just like you always have sun here, we always have the night. The moon waxes and wanes like it does on earth, but on the nights with full moons the entire land seems to glow brilliantly, almost like a foggy day with a low hanging sun I suppose would be about the same amount of brightness.” His voice grows distant as he thinks of his home. “There are vast fields of tall grass growing at the edges of ragged cliffs. The cliffs nearest my castle are covered with cave openings where the long tunnels that turn the underground into catacombs open into the fresh air.”

He turns his head as if looking around the place he is describing. "In those tunnels lives all manner of beings, but the larger tunnels lead to caverns with deep mineral rich pools and tall tall waterfalls coming out of the very rock. There is a vast lake that is fed by a huge treacherous river, and the lake is what feeds the waterfalls.” He turns to look down, his eyes unfocused. “Looking down from the castle walls you can see to the far side of the lake, the tall trees growing here and there along the lake filled with bats and leeches with long waving tentacles. Like shadow puppets with a watery backdrop.” He chuckles as he thinks about the sight. With a sigh he comes back to reality as a sharp pain laces through his stomach. His hands come up to clutch the spot and with a small growl he murmurs, “Doc, now.”

Enasi let Seishu speak. He paid more attention when he spoke of his own Realm. The Dream Guardian had never been, and it seemed like a slightly unfair advantage that Seishu got to see his home- even if he was bed ridden. As his mind focused on Seishu, he noticed the subtle rises in his negative energy. It was small, but he noticed. Either Seishu was tired of the conversation or his pain returned. After awaking from sleep, the pain was probably kicking back in. Reality was finally settling for him. He watched carefully, but stayed still seeing that Seishu was controlling it- for the most part.

Rue had been listening in awe. And of course, without thinking, he blurts out. "It sounds wonderful. I've never seen the moon... But the sun here is nice too!" He added, making sure that Seishu knew. Continuing, he then blurted out. "Could I see your realm? It sounds really nice!" There was a short pause, and he flinched some. "That is, if Lord Enasi allows me to..?" He glanced back, relaxing when he noticed the calm look his guardian still had.

"That's way too dangerous Rue. I couldn't allow that." With a soft sigh, Rue nodded and turned back to Seishu. He noticed the Nightmare Guardian hold his stomach and he moved away some.

"Rue, go get Doctor Crios please. Make it quick."

Without hesitation the small boy was off, flying at his fastest speed in order to get to Crios. He didn't want Seishu to get hurt worse, so every second count. While Rue raced off, Enasi stayed behind, slowly scooting closer to the bed. He stopped in his tracks, almost believing that he could be as calm as he was in that dream. Enasi stayed in place and watched him clench his stomach. He thought about trying to give his own negative energies again, but he was still happy about the previous events. So, he just stayed quiet and out of the way.

Crios was directing a few doctors to their tasks when Rue bombarded in. He ha to catch the fairy by his shirt when he tried to stop abruptly. "It's dangerous flying around at that speed Rue. This better be an emergency." He let go of Rue and crossed his arms, his tail twitching as he waited for an answer. Rue took a deep breath, about to explain the situation from beginning to end, but as soon as he opened his mouth, Crios covered it and spoke. "Please. Spare the details and skip to the point." The little fairy pouted and breathed.

"Seishu said he needed you. He was holding his stomach."

Crios nodded. "Thank you." He went over to grab a few things in order to administer the dosage of his medicine. They really needed to get some negative energy in him before it got worse than it already was. "You go back, tell them I'll be there as soon as possible." Rue was once again playing messenger for the older ones, and racing back to the room. Before he left, Crios finished his own tasks. He figured that Rue was making the situation sound a lot worse than it really was, so he didn't bother running as if his patient was dying.

Still, it didn't take him long to get to Seishu's room. He walked in, giving a small bow to his guardian and walked to the injured guardian's side. "You do realize that you can't become so dependent on these medicines." Turning to Enasi, he spoke. "Since I'm here, we might as well start up his therapy again." Rue gave a confused tilt of his head, making Crios explain further. "Night here has to move around do his muscles can get used to moving again. He can't stay bedridden forever." Before Rue could even think of responding, Crios added. "You may join, but you must stay near me. You can't be so close to him, he may accidentally hurt you." Rue had made himself comfortable at the foot of the bed but nodded with a smile.

"So doctor, what will it be today? Another walk through the halls?"

Crios shook his head. As he spoke, he began to give Seishu the shot needed. "That was too easy for him. He needs something that'll make him work, so he'll be swimming." Enasi immediately thought back to when they were swimming in the lake. And then now... 'Of course this won't be close to the dream. Stay in reality.'
"I'm going to need you close by Lord Enasi. Just in case he gets hurt and drowns."

"Oh. Of course. I already said that I'd be around for his sessions to help."

As he sits and waits for the doctor to come, Seishu focuses on his breathing. 'Enasi is staying away I see. I guess that's for the best, seeing as when he worries he tends to slip. Or maybe that's all in my mind' His hair falls around his face as his head tilts down towards the covers across his lap. 'I really wish I had something to strangle at the moment. It's not like I could actually kill anything here, not in my condition at least' Turning his head ever so slightly he looks out between the long tresses at his counterpart. His anger flares, but he keeps himself in check. 'This is so annoying. I have no idea how he feels right now, I'm not calm enough, but I bet all the realms that he doesn’t feel completely pissed off at me all the time like I seem to be. I wonder if it's the injury'

The silence seems to stretch on forever, but in not time the door bursts open and Rue darts in. Flaying past his lord he lands gently next to the bed and with a wide grin reports that the doctor is on his way. The nightmare guardian simply stares at the little sparkler, wondering how many ways he could cook the little beast and how he would taste best. With a fierce shake of his head he returns his gaze to the floral pattern clenched in his fist. 'This is so stupid, I know I don't actually want to hurt Little Bite, but I know it would feel so good right about now. . . .' Finally the doctor walks in and Seishu looks up.

Following the fox man's progression across the room a low growl starts up in his chest. Almost subconsciously Crios lowers his energy and the growling dulls to a low rumble. He raises an eyebrow at the dependency jab and in a harsh voice he hisses out, “As if I am some weak willed human who would fall to an addiction. Just shut you smug mug and do your damn job you filthy vixen.” With that he hold out his arm and waits. Crios ignores the little outburst which at first ticks Seishu off, but as the medicine does it's work Seishu simply accepts it as a mark of his professionalism. A slow smile spreads across his lips as his workout activity is announced and his head snaps around to Enasi.

A low chuckle starts up in his throat at the look on the other guardian's face, however he keeps it as quiet as possible. 'He's thinking about the dream thing. And he's not exactly upset about the idea. This will be quite fun. . . .' Rue notices him chuckling but even as he looks around to find what made the Nightmare Guardian laugh Enasi seems to shake himself out of it. Turning to Crios he gives the doctor a completely serious look and says, “I get to pick my swimming garment Doc.”

Crios raises an eyebrow. “Oh? And why should we let you do that. I know that you're only saying this because of you underhanded little plan Night.”

“Plan?” Rue inquires innocently. Seishu however keeps his gaze upon Crios.

His lips curl into a smirk. “I am not so obvious in my deviousness Doc. However, seeing as my normal swimwear consist of my skin alone, I would think you may be grateful that I'm already consenting to wearing anything. After all, you're my doctor, and isn't that the one person you're suppose to be the most open with? And do you really think you lord so vulnerable that you need to stick up for him even before giving him a chance to blow me off?”

Crios sighs loudly and shakes his head. “No, I just want you focusing on your recovery. I'd rather you hold off on you “Deviousness” until AFTER you can walk alone without falling flat on your face after ten feet.” A little too late he realizes that he'd basically just given Seishu his blessing in teasing Enasi after his recovery and by the time he thinks to re-word himself Seishu is already grinning at him evilly. 'This creature aims to ruin me, I swear' Shaking his head once again he motions for Rue to move back and still looking quite confused the minion skitters over to the door, waiting to open it. “Just, get up, we need to get going, I have other patients that need attention today too.”

Sighing faintly Seishu nods and turns slowly in his bed. This time he scoots towards where Enasi is, letting out a hiss ad his legs fall off the bed. Crios motions for his lord to help the Nightmare Guardian out and Seishu looks to his counterpart as he pushes himself to his feet. His stance is a little steadier today, however he holds his hand out for Enasi. 'Don't wanna tire myself out before we get to the fun part, no?'

“I get to pick my swimming garment Doc.”

What was Seishu up to...? He was always up to something. Enasi leaned against the chair curiously listening to the doctor and his patient. He spoke of skinny dipping and the guardian coughed lightly, looking away. Rue noticed but stayed silent, continuing to listen.

Enasi continued to let the two 'bicker' until he realized what Crios had said. "Can we get started? Unless Seishu plans on being crippled forever. I'm surprised you haven't rushed us out already." The male turned to sit right in the chair before adding on, "Heh, unless he's trying to stay here."

Rue giggled and shook his head. "Master Seishu wouldn't want to stay here! He's always saying it's too bright and that silliness." Crios then ushered them out. Rue stayed obedient and stood by Crios as Seishu got up. "Do I get to swim too?" Rue looked up at the doctor, pouting when he received a shake of his head.

"It's for safety reasons." Crios explained and led the way out the door. Rue followed, walking backwards to watch the guardians.

Enasi looked at Seishu's hand, and stood silently. He was waiting for a sky comment or remark, as he helped the Nightmare Guardian out to the halls. There wasn't much Enasi could say without him being teased, so he decided to just deal with it. "So what's the, um, goal for Seishu here? I'm sure he can just float around- and not drown."

Crios' ears twitched when he heard his lord's voice. "He's to do a few laps back and forth. Simple enough." It didn't take them long to get to an indoor pool. The room was similar to a recreational area, though it was mainly used for therapy.

Seishu can practically see the edginess crackling around his counterpart as he takes his hand. 'I bet he's expecting something very forward out of me. No no my dear other half, nothing like that! Why would I be so obvious? That would be silly, and counterproductive' Setting a light smile on his lips he moves in a little closer to Enasi and gets a good grip on his shoulder. Once in position the small caravan begins it's slow trek down the hallway. Seishu elects to stay silent for the trip, mulling over his own thoughts and trying to ignore the pain. Reaching out he ruffles Rue's hair when he asks about swimming with the guardian. Rue turns and pouts for a moment before switching to a grin and skittering ahead of the group.

'One of these day I think I may get infected by his good mood just be looking at him' Shaking his head his nose wrinkles at the smell of water. Thanking the powers that be that the pool had none of that corrosive skin drying eye burning crap in it he takes another whiff. Letting the fresh smell fill his lungs he can feel a trickle of energy wind it's way through him. He smiles at the pool area, looking much like a Greek bath house but missing the obvious nude statutes and suggestive fountains. Glancing at Enasi as he makes his inquiry of the doctor he shifts his grip and steadies himself before letting go of the other guardian entirely.

“Gimmi sec, I got enough for this.” he says softly, holding up a hand for Enasi to stay back. Rue too pulls back a bit and Crios gives the Nightmare Guardian a skeptical look. Concentrating Seishu dissolves his clothes, appearing almost naked for a few seconds with only a dark patch remaining over his privates before clothing reappears in the form of loose fitting black swimming trunks. The design is simple, fitting at the waist with the legs very wide allowing for free movement and dangling down just above the knees. He gives Crios a smile, “And you thought I was going to be devious, shame on you Doc.” Crios simply shakes his head, his tail swaying gently side to side.

Not willing to admit he's glad on the guardian's selection Crios moves over to the edge of the pool and kneels down. Dipping his hand in he judges the temperature adequate and stands to face his patient. Rue however totters in between them. “So, why did you wanna wear these? Wouldn't something small feel more natural? I mean, if you normally swim nude, wouldn't one of those really small tight ones be better?”

Seishu gives the boy a thoughtful look. “Well, I suppose it would, for my legs at least. However,” Looking down with a smile he reaches back out for Enasi, “I find those very constricting on parts of me that are fare more use to dangling. And those parts take priority.” Rue thinks for a moment then with a little blush he giggles at Seishu and lifts off the ground. Taking a few laps around the pool before the Nightmare Guardian gets in Rue can't get the goofy grin off his face as he thinks about what the taller male was talking about.

Crios rolls his eyes and moves over to the shallow end of the pool. “Lord Enasi, just throw him in here. I mean, help him in via these little stairs.” Seishu chuckles lightly at the doctors joke and waits to be helped in.

"The clean up crew does a fine job at this." He mused at how clear the water was and how spotless all the pillars around them were. By that time, Seishu decided to take matters into his own hands and walk alone. Of course the Dream Guardian watched carefully- now a little more so careful because they were near a pool. But the Nightmare was fine, so he continued to marvel at the cleanliness of the place. The main reason he was doing this was to avoid watching Seishu change into a pair of shorts. It was for "privacy matters" and just because he didn't want to watch.

Though when he turned back, he gave an in audible sigh of relief seeing that Seishu had appropriate clothing on. The last thing he needed was a nude Nightmare swimming around... And of course, Rue found something else he would rather not see. He kept his composure and didn't even bother to say anything about it. He kept his attention on Crios, but it seemed as soon as he decided to glance over, Seishu was staring right at him. The Dream Guardian coughed a little and turned away. "I guess I should, um, change." Having a bit more integrity, if that was the right word, than Seishu, he walked off. Ruffling his hair, he walked behind one of the pillars, and as soon as he walked back, he was in a pair of swim shorts as well, except his were a deep green color.

Crios' comment about throwing him in made Enasi laugh slightly and walk over to the stairs where Seishu was. He took a few steps into the water and then turned to face Seishu. "Alrighty. Come on." He held his hand out, waiting for him to take the assistance. The water chilled at first, giving Enasi goosebumps but soon it warmed and he relaxed.

Crios watched from the side, pulling up a chair to get comfortable. Rue on the other hand was flying above them to watch with curious eyes. "Well, don't waste any time. Laps." Crios reinstated to Seishu as he lowered into the pool. Where they were standing, they could've easily walked around, well Enasi could've just walked around. Seishu hopefully could at least do that, and it wasn't possible for him to sink and drown if the water was still at waist level.

"You can do it Seishu!" Rue cheered on and giggled as he flew above.

A slow burn of satisfaction in his stomach brings a falsely innocent smile to his lips as he watches the Dream Guardian duck behind a pillar to get changed. 'I could not have planned that better myself. I figured Rue would ask some sort of rather entertaining question, but that was not at the top of the list at all. Though I must admit, it was one of the best on said list' Suppressing a chuckle as Enasi walks back into sight Seishu turns his gaze from the guardian to the pool and waits for the plan to get laid out. Reaching out he's careful not to topple over as he shuffles his way down the stairs. A hiss of pain finds it way out between his teeth as he stumbles slightly and has to catch himself on Enasi's shoulder. After a moment of recovering he lets out a regular breath.

'Ah, this isn't embarrassing at all, nope, just a regular day at the pool' Grinding his teeth slightly his head snaps around to glare at Crios. The exertion of making his clothes mixed with the little stumble draws his anger dangerously close to the surface. Like octopus tentacles little strips of dark energy lash out in the water in the doctor's general direction. Crios stiffens slightly, ready to move further back while high above Rue pauses in mid air. It takes a moment for Seishu to realize he's growling but after a few calming breath he draws back in his energy and stands steady at his counterpart's side.

His hair spreads out about his waist, drifting back and forth in the little currents created by their moving bodies. Stepping away from Enasi he relaxes and lets himself fall back on to the water's surface. As his feet come off the rough marble that makes up the floor of the pool and floats up tot he surface he lets out a sigh as the pain lessens significantly. 'A few laps huh? I can do that'

From the side of the pool Crios calls out, “Stay by his side Lord Enasi, in case he cramps up and needs support.”

Seishu rolls his eyes but does not disagree. He smiles as Rue comes into sight. He stops to hover over the floating guardian and as Seishu begins flexing his legs, causing him to move across the surface of the water, Rue does his best to follow him around a goodly distance above.

Enasi had expected a trip and fall or a stumble. So when Seishu fell and grabbed onto his shoulder, he was prepared. The Guardian paused and held him up until he could regain his composure. "Be careful." He said softly, watching him readjust. It was such a habit for him to worry that even he didn't notice it at times. " And stop growling do much, sheesh." That time it was more of a scolding tone. The dream guardian didn't need his counterpart scaring or hurting his dreams and minions. Rue was already a reminder of it. He surely didn't needmore. But telling him to stop obviously didn't work...

He shuddered at the rise of negative energy that began to lash out at the pool. With a sigh, Enasi stands and watches the act. Crios and Rue had paused in their acts. But line the dream guardian expected, Seishu calmed down. "Are you done?" His eyebrow raised as his energy dissipates and he goes quiet again. He suspected a yes as Seishu began to swim away. For a moment, without realizing it, he stared. Enasi watched him swim off and noticed how his hair spread around him. With a light shale of his head, the male turned away and started to swim the opposite way.

Just as he did, Crios called to him. Enasi stood straight, glancing back at the guardian who was still casually floating. "Alright." Was his only response to the doctor. So his swimming direction was turned around. Instead, he was swimming around in the clear water, under the surface. He was close enough to catch the other in trouble, but still at a preferable distance.

Rue smiled and waved at Seishu as he floated about. With a giggle, he called to him. "Aren't you suppose to be swimming?" As he flew over him, he caught a glimpse of Enasi under the water. "He can hold his breath for a really long time." He noticed, flying a little closer to the water. Though, he flinched a little when his name was called by the doctor. It was his warning of he was getting too close, so he backed away some. "Hey,  can you do that too?" He pointed to Enasi, who apparently couldn't hear them, or want paying much attention.

There was a brief moment when he came back up for air, and to look at Seishu to make sure he was still able to move, but soon enough he was back under the water again. From the side, Crios called out. "We don't have all day Night. Start the laps. I don't want to be with you all day." He tapped a pen against a clipboard. He was going to track the nightmare's progress, but that couldn't happen if he didn't do anything.

Seishu watches silently as his counterpart vanishes beneath the surface. His mind wanders a bit as he continues to flex his legs. The ache in his lower back sends sharp spikes up his spine but he ignores it, instead focusing on making his body do what he wants it to. High above Rue looks down at him, wondering if he can hold his breath as long as Enasi. 'I have no idea, but that may be a good way to get me motivated' His eyes drift across the surface once more as the Dream Guardian comes up for a breath before diving back under. He starts to turn over just as Crios calls out in an irritated tone. Rather than yelling back he gives Rue a wink and takes a deep breath. 'I just have to be careful. Gotta stay close to him' he keeps that in mind as he dives down beneath the surface and begins swimming towards the opposite edge. Taking the pool lengthwise he reaches the other side quickly enough with minimal pain.

As he does his turn under water he flinches as the motion strains more muscles than just swimming does. After a few more strokes he realizes something. 'I am using my energy. I. . . .I must really use it all the time. It's funny. I can tell that Enasi doesn't exactly keep track of his energy, however he doesn't USE it for stuff like this. And it can't just be the pain making me use it, that would be more conscious' His eyes find the other guardian swimming bellow, still in the deep end so he's a bit of a distance away. 'I guess he's more physical than I. Now that I think about it, I normally have a good layer of energy around me with everything I do. It supplements my actions and smooths out my movements. I fly as naturally as I take a breath. . .I guess this is another thing to add to differences' Mentally sighing he makes another turn, this time openly flinching at the pain. The small level of energy enveloping him helps him hold his breath and he sets off on another lap.

Above the water Rue follows his movements, a look of pain crossing his face as the dark energy flares at the turns. The energy doesn't reach him, the look of pain is his own imagining of how much the turns must hurt to cause the flare. 'I hope he's okay down there. Lord Enasi is with him, so I guess he's alright, but what if he starting making too much dark energy and someone gets hurt again? No, that won't happen, he's stronger than that. He wouldn't do anything willingly that would hurt anyone here, unless it's at the battle. He's not evil' He smiles, drifting back and forth as he turns his eyes upon the other spectator. 'Doctor Crios seems to like him now. Well, maybe, I mean, they tease each other now and he's not really upset. Mister Seishu likes people who will tease him back and aren't afraid. Well, he told me to stay back, which he still thinks Mister Seishu is strong enough to hurt me, which I guess counts as respect I suppose'

High above Rue's mind continues to tumble as Crios leans forward to get a better look at his patient. His tail flicks slowly back and forth contemplatively and his brows furrow. When Seishu had first dipped under the water he'd almost thought something had gone wrong, however after half starting to his feet he noticed the guardian's smooth movements and settled back down. Now however he begins tensing again as the dark energy seems to spike on the turns. 'I guess he's still in quite a bit of pain. He has amazing control over his energy, Rue sleeping beside him in proof enough for me, but to lose it on something as simple as an underwater turn. . .' Letting out a sigh he looks down to his clipboard and jots down some notes. 'I can not just keep shooting him up with pain killers. . .But what's the alternative? Where can we get some negative energy? It's not like we have it just. . .laying. . . .around. . . . . .' His thought trail off as he gets and idea of how to get some negative energy into his patient.

Enasi turned just in time to see Seishu dive under water. He paused, floating with the waves for a moment. Once he made it to one end, Enasi began to follow him. He wanted to say something, maybe ask him how he was feeling, but they were under water so he could only speak with his expression. When he got closer as Seishu turned, the sudden spike of negative energy made wince slightly. Obviously, Seishu was still hurt. But he ignored it and continued swimming, though now, he was a little careful. Occasionally, a small stream of positive of energy would snake around him when he got closer to Seishu.

It was kind of interesting using his energies underwater. His movements were fluent and easy without them, bit with them, he felt prettygraceful and felt like he could swim a whole lot faster. When he was able to get close, the energy disappeared and he raised a curious eyebrow toward his counterpart.  While he laps around, Enasi followed after him off to the side, and occasionally a little lower. Each flinch of pain, he gave worried expressions. 'Maybe you should stop Seishu. Don't hurt yourself more." He knew that he couldn't read his mind, but his expression was fairly obvious.

By now, Enasi was swimming close to Seishu. The dark energy kept subconsciously lashing out, but he continued to ignore it. If he was to counter the energy he was sure he'd end up hurting him, or enhance the dark energies. It was fine though, Enasi was used to having to ignore the fall energies. Of course he didn't take in to consideration that he was underwater, which would probably need more focus to ignore. He swam back up for air, his wet hair just a little over his eyes. Wiping it away, he smiled and waved up at Rue.

The kid grinned and flew lower to playfully splash him. "Next time you go swimming, can I swim too?" Enasi laughed lightly and nodded before taking a breath and going back under water.
