[IC] A Whole New World

Zack nodded when she asked him to put the food on the table. He listened as he set the table. He frowned when he heard the authorities at the door. He knew they were going to make trouble. Especially know that there was proof that he was here. When he went to the stable he hadn't thought about someone reporting his presence. He smiled when she heard him explain that he was her boyfriend. If only that was true.

"I see can we come and meet him?" they asked and she frowned "We're about to have dinner I'm afraid, plus I've not been to well all day so no and I don't like people demanding to meet my boyfriend when they are complete strangers now goodbye" she closed the door on them. "Now then where were we, dinner" she said and sat down to enjoy dinner with him. "We need to be very careful, once I get a photo of you we can get your passport and that should help with this problem as well" she sighed "It's the easiest explanation in this case. We've not been going out long if people ask ok?"

"I am sorry for causing you more stress." Zack told her as he gentle caressed her cheek. His arrival seemed to make everything more complicated for her. He didn't know how to help her. It was his fault that the authorities had come questioning her. He knew they would be back. Until they had the answers the sought or something else pulled them away. "I am sorry that you had to lie for me."

"It's fine, it's not that big of a deal after all" she smiled at him and thought for a moment on what they could do "Ah right i need to get a photo of you for your passport still, we can do that quickly before we have some desert" she said to him.

"Lying is always a big deal." Zack agreed. He had never cared for lying but he knew it was necessary or they would end up in a lab. He knew neither of them wanted that. "I think getting me some ID as soon as possible is a good idea."

She nodded and began setting up an area to take the photograph with a blank sheet and then got him to stand there while she found a camera and told him to have a neutral expression as she took a few photographs for the passport. "OK then, I'll send that in and in the next week or so you should have some ID and then we;lll get you some client or rather customers ok?" she asked him and smiled before putting the camera down and made sure she transferred them onto her computer to print out or email to the passport company. Once that was done she got to work cutting up the last bits of the cake.

Zack carefully followed her instructions. He wanted to be legal. Or atleast not cause her any more problems. He worried about the amount of time she said it would take. If the authorities came neck she would have to lie to them. As much as he liked the lie he hated the need for it.

"Zack don't worry about it ok" she said softly and kissed his cheek "You're not causing me any problems, you've really helped me out a lot to be honest and like I said you're good company and a gentleman of sorts too" she smiled at him. Problem with Keita was she was good at hiding what she really felt and at this point she did find him to be rather sweet and also didn't mind the lie she had to tell either. "and you never know, one day that lie might become the truth" she said.

Zack smiled at her gentle kiss. It meant alot to him that she was trying to comfort him. He chuckled when she said he was a gentleman of sorts. "My mother will be disappointed to hear that her training failed." He told her. His smile vanished when he realized what he said. His mother would never know. They had both know that his not returning was a possiblity. Many warriors left their world never to return.

Keita looked to him "hey I'm sure one day you'll find a way to get back, there is always something fi not then even finding a way to communicate might be possible" she said softly to him "So don't worry it might take some time but we'll figure out something got it? and your more a gentleman then a lot of men I've met."

"We knew it was a possiblity that I would be unable to return. Many warriors have never returned to our planet. Some have found ways to communicate so that we know that they are alive." Zack explained softly. "I don't think I can ever go home." From what little he had seen her world was a long way from space travel. "But it would be nice to tell my mother that I survived."

"Well if we can at least do that, let's think how do you communicate over distances over there and any idea how the others found ways to communicate with their family?" she asked him seeing if there was anything she could do to help him at all.

"The ones that reached home after landed on advanced planets." Zack explained. "Places that had technology that allowed them to communicate with other worlds. Your planets isn't even aware that there are other planets." Zack told her softly. "I will keep an eye out for the right techibolgy but engineering has never been something I was good at."

"Well good thing I'm here, I'm studying Technology and it's advanced from nothing to here in only 10 years so there could be something possible and we've started searching for other lifeforms within our solar system at least" she said to him "So we are further than you think Zack" she smiled at him "Now then how about we finish off this cake and watch one more movie before bed?" she smiled

Zack Had forgotten that she was studying technologhy. Maybe she could help him reach home. At the very least he would love to tell his mother that he had survived and found his mate. If only he could convince her that they were mates. She had come a long way in the short time he had been her. With time Zack that he could convince her to be his. He just had to woo her. "That sounds like a wonderful plan."

"Well I can have a loo at what there is, there is plenty of technology being invented nd everything, we can have look on the laptop for a bit fi yo want, see what we can find. Also they're improving space technology as well but it'll still take quite a few years to be perfected that's the problem"

Zack nodded. He knew that it might be years before he could contact his home world. But it was nice to think that there was a chance that one day he would be able to do so. He went to her. He gentle ran his thumb over her lips. "Thank you. You have already given me so much. It means a lot that you want to give me this as well."

Keita smiled "Well, you've helped me out a lot more than you think so of course I'll help you out if I can" she said to him before feeling his thumb run over her lips and smiled a little "I've always wondered why do you keep doing that?" she asked him "running your thumb on my lips, you trying to say something?" she asked him curiously.

Zack blushed. He quickly moved his hand away from her mouth. He didn't know how to explain. His people touched all the time. It was how they communicated. Touching ones lips was a sign of love and devotion. The person had to trust someone a lot to allow such a caress. "I find your lips facinsting. They are so soft." he told her. That Atleast was partically true.

Keita smiled seeing him blush having a rough idea of what the answer was really after he'd spoken "I see" she said softly and kissed his cheek "Many do it to show love and devotion on this planet, something couples normally do whenever they want to kiss someone, men seem to do it more than women though"
