[IC] A Whole New World

Zack was amazed when she jumped over the gate. He didn't know if he could do that. He was sure he wouldn't be as graceful as she was. He patted the foals nose before walking over the gate. He managed to climb over the gate. But he didn't land on his feet the way she had. He blushed in embarrassment. He seemed to always be doing something clutzy when she was around.

Helping him up she she soon hopped into the care and trailer before driving it quickly back to it's normal place and then coming back over. "OK, think it's about time we headed home and get some lunch, I've sorted out her food and water for today so best let her relax and get used to the place" she said smiling and looked to him a moment before she began to head back "Well have fun?" she asked.

"Yes. It was a very interesting morning." he told her. On the way to the house Zack looked for the perfect piece of wood. He wanted to make her a statue of wisp. He found a piece and carried it with him into the house. "what do you want to do for lunch?"

"Hmm how about some noodles?" she asked him as they walked back "Hmm think I have some chicken flavoured ones so they should be fine. I'm quite tired so might need to have a nap like yesterday as well.

"Chicken and noodles sound good." Zack told her. He set his wood aside and wasp he'd his hands. "How can I help?" he asked. He frowned when she told him he was tired. "are you feeling alright?" Zack asked worried. He was afraid the stress of him living with her was starting to affect her. He didn't want to be responsible for her getting sick.

Nodding she smiled "Yeah it's fine, I just haven't been sleep well the last few nights is all, was like this before yu came and it's taking it's toll I guess" she ruffled her hair and once home got to work on the noodles soon enough handing him his bowl and smiled "Bon appetite" she smiled at him.

"why can't you sleep?" zack asked curiously. He accepted the bowl. He was relieved that he wasnt the cause of her tiredness. But he wondered what caused her to loose. He was worried that she would become ill. There had to be a way he could help her. He could allow her to get sick. He needed her too much.

"Well I've had a lot going on is all, and I've always struggled to sleep peacefully so I'm used to it but after lunch I better get some more sleep so I don't end up ill" she said as she began to eat her noodles at the table with him. "So don't start worrying like yesterday ok Zack" she said to him.

"I will try not to. I haven't met anyone like you. When people get tired in the middle of the day on my planet we take them to the healer. The ill do not survive long on my world so we must act fast." he explained. "I know things are different on your world. I wouldn't know what to do if you got ill."

"I'm not one to get ill" she smiled at him "So don't worry so much, as long as I rest i'll be perfectly fine" she said and finished off her noodles and put the bowl in the sink before she began washing them, waiting for him to finish before washing his bowl and kissing his cheek "I'll see you a little later then ok?" she said smiling and headed up to bed in order to rest.

Zack tried to take her word for it. He couldn't completely relax those. Illness was a very serious thing on his world. He knew lack of sleep could lead to illness. He tried to work on his new sculpture but he couldn't focus. Finally he went upstairs to keep an eye on her. Watching her sleep made him feel better.

She slept for quite some time and caught up on what she'd missed before she woke up a bit later rather dazed and yawned but spotted him and smiled "You're such a worrier" she said as she sat up "Not able to focus huh?" getting up and stretching "Uhhh, can you close the door and wait outside while i change?" she asked him.

"I tried. I started a new sculpture, but I hip just couldn't focus on it." he told her apologetically. "I know I'm being a bother but you mean a lot to me. I don't want to lose you. I know your planet is different from mine. But I have lost friend to illnesses that proapbably cureable here." zack nodded and hurried out of the room.

She got changed before coming outside "it's not a bother but relax ok?" she said and touched his cheek gently before stretching "I'm feeling a lot better now anyway and what did you start a sculpture of this time?" she asked him curiously.

"I am trying." Zack assured her. He smiled when she touched his cheek. He like that she was touching him of her own free will. He knew that meant that she was starting to trust him. They were a long ways from being the mates he wanted to be, but atleast this was a start. "I am going to make you a sculpture of Wisps."

"Anyway clothes for you" she said and went to the spare room and showed him where some of her brothers old clothes were "They're about your size so you can borrow them for the time being, until we can get you some clothes of your own ok?" she smiled and looked to him "that'll be nice" she smiled at him and grinned happily.

Zack nodded and followed her to the spare room. He hated having to borrow clothes from her. But there wasn't any choice, atleast there isn't right now. Eventually he would make it up to her. He changed clothes. He set the old ones in the hamper where he had seen her put her own old clothes. Then he went downstairs.

"He doesn't use them anymore so I washed them and kept them just encase he came back but I doubt he will now" she said going out and downstairs while he changed. "Hmm, they suit you quite well actually" she said once he came downstairs. "Looks like I slept in quite late though" she said to him

"Why don't you think that he will came to visit?" Zack asked curiously. She didn't seem to be very close to her family. He wondered why. Was it because she was so far away? He would never allow that to keep him from his family if he had the choice.

"Because he's married and moved somewhere far away, to another country" she said to him "My parents are in the city but like I said it's better for me to stay out here, I prefer it as well" she said smiling "Plus if I didn't then i wouldn't have met you then would've I?"
