[IC] On the run

A black clad figure, was standing on a skyscraper. Taking in the city, he was going to be staying in. He knew no one would be able to see him this far up, his sword was on the middle of his back while his gun was. In his belt, he jumped off of the buliding. Jumping from whatever he could grab or land on. He landed on the street making his way toward the apartment he was going to stay in.

Once Jake had gotten there, he got out of his assassin clothes. He put on some jeans, just before he fell onto the bed. He stared at the ceiling, thinking onto why he had betrayed his fellow assassins it was to get away from them and out of the way. Now he was on the run, from them he was fully trained from the other assassins there, after that he fell asleep once his alarm clock was set on his phone.

Jade was roaming the city. She had made a deal with her father that she would patrol the city every night. She would take out anyone see deemed a threat them or their city. Although she was a train assassin, Jade did not like to clean. She would kill those who threatened her or her city. She also had a special dislike for bullies. She would guard her city until just before sunrise. The people in her city didn't know that she guarded them But Jade was ok with that.

By five in the morning, Jake was already up he knew school didn't start for at least another three hours. He grabbed his hoodie and put it on, as he grabbed his bag. He went out of his apartment, he locked it before going onto the streets. "Hey what's a kid like you doing on the streets?" Jake looked over his shoulder to see some guys, "what about you just give us your back pack and be on your way?" Jake raised an eyebrow yah right he would. "It's your choice kid," with that they walke up to him one ready to punch him.

He dodged the first punch reversed it and flipped the guy over his shoulder, the other tried to kick him. He caught the guys foot spun him around till he was on the ground. He punched the guy in the temple knocking him out. "Anyone else," the guys looked at each other than ran. "Jake continued walking aimlessly around the city.

Jade called it a night around 3. She needed atleast a couple hours of sleep before school. When her alarm went off a couple of hours later, Jade tiredly turned it off and took a cold shower. After her shower she was almost awake. When she went downstairs for breakfast she discovered that her father wasnt home. That meant that Jade had to walk to school. She locked the house and headed to school.

Jake soon started making his way to school, his hoodie hiding that he was muscular under the baggy clothing. His hands were in his pockets, he wouldn't try and draw much attention to himself at the school. That would be begging for assassins to come and kill him.

Jade arrived at school just as the first bell rang. Atleast she wasn't late today. Several students greeted her as she entered the school. She needed to most of their greetings. While she was well know Jade had no true friends. She couldn't afford to have friends.

Jake had arrived after a few minutes, later after the bell that started the first period. He waited outside the door till he heard the teacher say come in. He walked in, his hands still in his pockets as he looked over the students. "Names Jake Salazar," he looked to the teacher. He had said he could sit anywhere he sat at the back of the class.

Jade's thoughts weren't on school but on her plans for tonight. Every night she patrolled a different area of the city. Tonight she planned to patroller the rougher side of time. She didn't particularly like being on that side of town, but she had to admit that there were many more people that fit her qualifications. Which pleasure her father but pissed her off. Some days she wanted to just reclaim that are for the people but her father wont let her. At lunch she found an empty table and sat down.

Jake had gotten his lunch, he had a target tonight to find out the movements of the assassins tracking him. He hadn't really thought when he sat down at a table, that's when he looked up he saw a girl sitting across from him. He hid his suprise under that calm facade as he started to eat.

Jade raised her eyebrows in surprise. Few people sat with her. It wasn't that she minded, but she preferred her space when she could get it. She studied the boy across from her. She was pretty sure she had never seen him before. "New school?" She like knowing the people around her.

Jake shrugged, "I guess so." He finished his lunch, "came from Chicago on my own," it wasn't an entire lie he had come here on his own. Still he wasn't from Chicago he was more like from Alaska. That's why he could take the cold wheat her New York did in the winter.

"You think? You're not sure if your new or not?" Jade teased. She figured it was more that he didn't want to answer the question more then that he couldn't. She wondered what secrets he had. Sense she had secrets of her own she had no problems letting him keep his secrets. "T

Jake shrugged, he didn't really care if he had to go to school. He would be able to breeze through math and social studies easily since most assassins needed to know the history of the world and they needed math to plan out a perfect kill at times he would just jump off a roof and kill his target.

Jade shook her head. What a strange boy. She decided to ignore him the rest of the lunch period. When the bell rang she cleaned off her tray and headed to her next class. She was sure there was so purpose to school. But Jade couldn't tell you what it was. She never felt like she knew anything new. When school ended for the day Jade headed home to do her homework. She would change and head out to her patrol later.

Jake had gotten back to his apartment, he had gotten his homework done. After a few hours he changed into his assassins outfit. His sword hidden blade and suppressed pistol was on him. When he jumped out of the window, once he was to the assassin contractor. On the rough side of town, he entered the place seeing the assassin contractor. He grabbed the man by the shirt lifting him to the wall. "Have you seen any other assassins in this town." The man didn't speak, "tell me!"

Jade started her patrol early. She had been bored and lonely. Her dad had gone to a meeting for his regular job. She changed into her assigns gear before heading to her part of town. She hoped there would a lot of action she was craving a good fight. All she needed to do was find a bully to take put.

Jake threw the guy onto another roof, the guy tried to run from him getting to the street. Before Jake blocked his path, "I asked you a question answer it and you can go or it can beat it out of you." The guy backed up, "my names Luke I'm not giving you more than that." Jake looked at the guy before punching him in the face, "I don't care what your name is tell me the answer to my question and you can go."

"You know when I decided to patrol the dark side of the city I didn't imagine that I would have to save a low live." Jade commented calmly. "I really hate wasting my time saving the life of some moron that I'm only going to have to take out at a later date." Jade twilled one of her throwing knives in one hand. "Why are you shaking down this low life."

Jake turned around facing the voice he just heard, "and why should I tell you." The black hood covering his face, as he pulled out his sword from his back then grabbing his pistol from his belt. "He owes me answers," with that he got ready for a fight.

"I've never seen you before." Jade told him leaning against the wall as if she didn't have a care in the world. "How can he possible owe you anything? I've never seen or heard of you which means you new to town. If you new to town there's no way this low life could possible owe you anything?"
