Tareck yawned at sat up in his bed as light began to leak through his window. He looked over at the bed across the room to see Yarik, his stormcutter, snoozing on it. He smiled and swung his legs over the side of the bed, standing slowly. Yarik perked up as Tareck awoke and the dragon hopped off of the bed and trotted over to Tareck, who smiled and ran a hand over his dragon companion's leathery head. "Morning, Yarik..."

Ingrid felt funny as her body began to rouse itself from her slumber. For some reason, she couldn't seem to move, and her bed was a bit harder than it should have been. As she slowly opened one eye, then the other, they would trail over her room as she awoke with a curious feeling. Then her ears started working and she heard a loud deep breathing. Looking to her left, she saw her dragon Fraener was sleeping noisily next to her. Then she realized she couldny move because his wing was firmly holding her down.

"Hey, Fraener. Wake up, your crushing me." she said.

The large black dragon just gave a huff in response. He appeared to not want to move.

"Seriously. Your crushing me and I need to pee." she said, wiggling.

Opening his eyes to look at her, she swore she saw the faintest of smiles on his face. "I will pee on you." she threatened.

Finally with another huff, Fraener would move his wing and use it to push her away a bit. Frowning a bit she said, "Whats got you in a bad mood?" she asked him.

With a small whimper, he moved his tail over so she could see the bandage she had wrapped up the day before. It was a small cut, but Fraener was a baby about it and to calm him down, she had patched him up. "Oh i've had bigger cuts than that, and you dont see me complaining." she said as she stood. "C'mon. Lets go eat something." she said, walking over and patting his head. His ears perked up then at the notion of food and he practically jumped up and dashed out of the room.

"Ugh. Men and Dragons are the same." she said, crossing her arms and following him. All the while, a smile was on her face.

Tareck stepped out of his house, Yarick following closely. Tareck was dressed in long.pants, boots, and a fprest green v-necl sleeveless shirt. His.axe.was attached to his hip and his dagger was tucked into his boot. Both boy and dragon made their way up to the town hall, where breakfast was being served. Tareck was greeted by some friends and Yarik was greeted by the other dragons.

After going to the bathroom, Ingrid made her way to the door. She had slept in her same clothes as the night before. After a long day of training in the forest yesterday, she practically passed out from exaustion. Her outfit was one that was uniquely her own style. While many other women wanted to look tough and boast swords, Ingrid had decided to spend her time with archery, eventually making her way to be one of the best out of the few they had on Berk. Grabbing her pouch of arrows by the door, along with her longbow, she slung them both on her back and ran to catch up with Fraener. No doubt if she didn't hurry, everyone would eat all the food before she got a chance to have any.

Tareck and Yarik sat in the corner of the hall eating. Yarick had a basket of fish while Tareck picked at his lamb and chicken. Today, the two had flight practice.and emergency maneuver practice that they could easily do in the grotto not far from the village.

Looking around the hall when she walked in, she nearly tripped on a tiny dragon chasing one with some fish in its mouth. Laughing as she watched it run off, she went to grab some fruit, bread and cheese. She spotted Fraener and was shocked to see him about to attempt to take a basket of fish that belonged to another dragon. A mean looking Stormcutter no less. Taking her apple, she threw it at her dragon, getting his attention. "Hey, no taking other dragon's food. Did you ask first?" she said walking over to the dragon and a boy her age. "Sorry about that." she said to him before turning to scold her silly Night Fury.

Tareck chuckled. "Hey, it's cool." Yarik nocked the basket over and rumbling pleasantly, pushing the fish towards the.night fury. "Good boy..." Tareck said, scratching Yarik's chin. Yarik purred and plopped on top of Tareck, who yelped and struggled under his dragon. "Yarik! Yarik, off!" he laughed, pushing his dragon off. Yarik rumbled and leqned down, sniffing Tareck's leg and nudging it gently. Tareck moved his leg and winced. "Stop..."

Fraener would gladly accept the offered fish as he ate it down hungrily. "Dragons and their manners these days, am I right?" Ingrid said with a shake of her head. "Hope you dont mind if I sit." she stated before walking around to the other side of the table and sitting down. She was right next to her Dragon and as she looked over and watched him eat for a moment, she swore one would think he never had a good meal in his life.

And boy would that be false...

"Hey, slow down. If you eat too fast then you'll get a stomach ache. Remember what happened last time?" Ingris said rubbing his wing. She was refering to the last time the Night Fury had overeaten right before they went training, and he had puked up what he ate... all over her. She was upset with him for a whole day after that one and since then, she tried to teach him to control his eating habits. "I swear sometimes you remind me of a four year old boy. Not a fully grown dragon." she said plucking the apple she threw earlier up from the table and taking a bite.

Tareck chuckled and ran a hand over Yarik's shoulder. "Yarik's a generous guy, he doean't mind.." he said. Yarik purred and nizzled against Tareck's hand. He set his plate down and looked over at Ingris. "I'm Tareck."

"Ingrid. Nice to meet you." she said with a smile. "Your dragon has a cool name. This is Fraener." she said looking at her black dragon. "We're going out to do some practicing after this, want to join us?"

Yarik perked and looked Tareck. Tareck smorled and laughed. "Sure... Yarik wants to at least..." he said, petting his dragon gently.

Ingrid smiled before continuing to eat her meal. She would have replied if not for the uproar of laughter that came from a nearby table. With a frown she looked at the brutes over there and her look of disgust grew when she saw her ex boyfriend and his possy of guys being surrounded by girls. For a second, he glanced at her and suddenly she lost her appitite. "Lets get out of here." she said to Tareck before standing and waving for Fraener to follow her.

Tareck stood and Yarik followed. Both dude and dragon followed Ingrid out of the hall. Yarik stole a whole chicken from the table where Ingrid's ex-boyfriend sat and ran off to catch up with Tareck.

When Ingrid left the hall, she felt instantly better. The cool morning air was refreshing and she couldnt wait to get started with their training. Turning to Tareck she asked "Hey, why dont me and you have a race? The skies are clear this morning." she said. Not many other dragon riders were out flying today and so it seemed like a perfect oppourtunity to let Fraener spread his wings, literally. Looking at her dragon, he seemed visibly excited by the thought.

Yarik swallowed the chicken and spread his wings, his dual wings seperating. Tareck chuckled. "Well, Yarik seems to go flying.." he laughed.

"Great. How about....." she trailed off as she thought about how far they should go. "Well, why dont we just see where the wind takes us? Faster dragon means the winner." she said, going to Fraener and hopping on his back. Leaning close to speak to him, she said quietly. "Go easy on them, okay?"

Tareck hopped on Yarik's back and chuckled. "Bring it, sister.." he joked.

With a smirk, Ingrid said to Fraener, "Lets show em buddy." With a nod of his big head, he ran off and stretched out his wings before jumping and taking off.

Yarik crouched and took off, flying quickly up to catch up to them. Tareck chuckled and smiled at her.

Ingrid was surprised to see them catch up so easily. She smiled at Tareck before lookin forward with a determined face. She was born to fly like this, and with the wind blasting her face, she felt so alive. "Cmon Fraener lets show em whos boss."
