The Doctor looked at her "Didn't want to get sick while was in a car, but the movement wasn't helping." he coughed hard. He knew Rose would overreact and worry a lot if she saw him now.
"Ohh Rose would think I was dying probably, she has never seen me so sick." he walked slowly out of the car and to his TARDIS, unlocking the ship, his eyes closed a few times.
He really wanted to just be able to lay down again.

Once inside the Doctor went to the medbay to look for the right medicines, the TARDIS making strange sounds "Hey its ok, I'm alright." he was telling the ship. He stroked the walls and then grabs his medicine and a few things from the bedroom. His voice sounded hoarse. He really didn't sound very well.
He didn't come out of his room as he saw a picture of Rose in his room and he just began crying a little. He did miss her, but things changed and he knew he should try move on or he would be alone.

Caitlyn wanted to follow him inside despite the fact that she didn't get an invite to do so, but trusted that the Doctor knew what he was looking for sitting on the hood of the car as she stared at the blue police box biting her lip softly. She wanted to tell her cousin, but she wouldn't just yet.
"Well if she kills me it's your fault!" Mickey said and she shrugged.
"Oh well. I'll be sure to arrive to your funeral all in tears. But honestly, I WOULD tell her, but she isn't exactly coping. She would drop everything once again to go and be with him no matter the consequences. You remember Sarah Jane right? Well, she doesn't even have anything but memories to tie with all that's happened in her life. But I can also sympathize with him. Think about it, the last of your kind. The only one left that can go throughout universes and know all sorts of beings and creatures..but no one to share it with. It'd be a lonely ass life, so no. I don't blame him for what happened to Rose." She said staring up into the blue sky curious about the other worlds out there. "So we'll have to ask if seeing the other is what they really want, consequences included."
"You wouldn't be jealous of them?"
"Hell yeah. I would love to see what they've seen. And to know that kind of love that they share. But I would be happy for them too, getting together like that. It'd be wonderful to see them get together." She said dreamily.

The Doctor came out hours later, he was looking upset still but he walked to the car and put the stuff inside the car, He coughed weakly and sits down once hes inside it.
"So sorry... I had a umm break down." he said, The Doctor was hoping that was the right words. He knew he could be strong if he gave it a chance. He was looking at Mickey and Caitlyn.
It was clear he was heartbroken but did his best.

"Well ready to go now." He was smiling and trying to push aside his unhappy feelings. He looked ahead. Knowing that Caitlyn was Rose's cousin was going to make things harder for him.
He closed his eyes and leaned back.

Caitlyn climbed into the car with a small shrug and sat next to the Doctor. "Hey...if it's hard knowing that I'm her cousin, would you tell me?" She asked having seen that he had broken down and possibly had needed to do so. "I don't want you to suffer any longer. So, how about you get better? So that if you want to I can bring the two of you together again. That is if you want that." She said suddenly shyly as she played with her shirt as Mickey got into the drivers side and went off towards where Caitlyn lived. She decided that if she had to find a way to take apart the Wall of China to get him to smile, she would bring a wreaking ball there to do so, humming 'London Bridge'. Yet she wasn't sure if that's what he wanted, to have Rose there. It might reverse whatever progress the both of them had made. She wasn't sure what the right move was or what to do. She was only doing what she thought was best.

The Doctor looked at her "I'm fine. Just a picture in by bedroom set me off," he loved Rose so much. He was closing his eyes for a moment "I just miss her, But I know she is safer... without me, But I don't know."
He really didn't know what to do. He didn't know what would happen of he saw Rose. He didn't want to hurt her. He didn't want Jackie mad with him, he sighed and leaned back.

The Doctor was closing his eyes the rest of the way, he was trying to rest, his body was shaking. He looked really miserable. By the time they arrived he was trying to not fall asleep.
It was clear he had no energy. His fever was making him miserable.

Caitlyn decided that no future decisions were going to be made until the Doctor was safe and healthy again. She thanked Mickey, as she grabbed the medicines and with his help got the Doctor into her room her arm around his waist as Mickey and she helped him. Once he was gone she got the medicines lined up and let him rest, knowing that he needed it. She then proceeded to make some tea and some soup, wondering if he would want either a far away expression on her face as she cooked. With a smile she decided to just let whatever was going to happen allow to happen and not stop it. Besides she wasn't one for much worrying about tomorrow anyway. It's like that saying said, yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift. That's why the call it the present. She began to sing softly as she cooked minding that she had a sick patient and not to rouse him from his sleep.

The Doctor was completely asleep, his arms went around a pillow as soon as he was put into a bed. It was clear that he was just too ill to keep awake.
He curled up in his blankets. He was very pale. When he awoke The Doctor was holding his head. He looked a bit miserable. He sighed leaning back and was thinking.
He had woken rather startled from a bad dream and pulled the covers back over. Sometimes he wished he could sleep without having nightmares, it was getting bothersome.

He was shaking and sighed, Damn dreams. He knew that he needed to get better. He hated feeling sick, he knew that he missed being cared for like this.

Caitlyn came into the room a little later, carrying the just made green tea and broth. "Hello, I'm glad you're awake. I wasn't sure how much longer you were going to rest. Would you like some tea? I brought some cream and sugar, and sugar substitute as I wasn't sure how you liked it." She said placing the cup of tea on the bed side table. "And we should probably get some medicine into you sooner rather than later." She rambled on, almost positive that she was only slightly better at Jackie at this whole uncertain what to do with a sick alien species thing. "And I also made some soup broth, as I thought you might want something to have."

The Doctor still seemed startled. He looked at her "Thank you," he smiled weakly and takes the tea and sipped it. He was closing his eyes "If this gets too bad, if I am unsure I will live.. I will need to see Rose then," he coughed weakly. It was strange he would think that negative, but he felt very bad and didn't want to die without Rose being there for him.
He was sobbing weakly again and eats his soup.
Feeling sick was so utterly miserable for him. The Doctor was looking like he needed more blankets. He was feeling cold , he didn't like laying in bed either.

Caitlyn wrapped the blankets around his shoulders and nods. "Sure, but I like to think in the positive. I will get you well again Doctor. I won't give up on you. Then there will be no need for goodbyes." She said with a smile wiping away his tears and went to the medicines humming softly. "So which one do you think will help best? I'm unfamiliar with any of these things." She said reading the label of some glad she had gotten that tea for him as well as the soup. And she wouldn't give up not until there was no other literal option for her to do. She would believe that he would get better. And help him in any way, shape, or form she could.

The Doctor looked at her "Actually all of them, I only got the ones I needed for this illness," he coughed weakly. He lays his arms across his forehead, he knew each was for a different set of symptoms. He eats his soup and was trying to relax. He was very miserable and he closed his eyes.
He knew that he would be more relaxed once some of symptoms were eased. "I know Rose right now would be freaking out or overreacting if she saw me ill like this, I was never sick like this when we traveled."

"Ah alright then, I'll give you the choice of which one you'd like to take first." Caitlyn said as she took the medicines and rose an eyebrow at him. "Well, I could go all chaotic on you, but I think I kind of did that when I found you collapsed on the ground sick as a dog." She said as she placed the medicines onto the bedside table after taking away the sugar and cream making sure they were within easy reach. She looked at one of the purple looking medicine. "So how do Time Lords take medicine? Normally, through an injection?" She asked curiously knowing she said she would put off the questions but this one she wanted to know. The others she could leave off at the moment. She wasn't sure though, how much longer she could keep up pushing them to the back of her mind.

"Guess it runs in the family hah?" The Doctor said seeming amused "Though sure you aren't as bad as Jackie, she gives me a bigger headache rather than making me feel better," He chuckled "Though Regeneration was something new to her and Rose," he smiled sadly at the memory. He had remembered how they both panicked when he had collapsed.
He looked at her "Just drink it, unless I'm too weak or something, then would be an injection." He looked at her and takes one of the bottles of medicine and takes some.

"Oh good, I at least am doing something right. I suppose worrying about people that we care about is a trait of the family sure. I heard about it, and gosh do I have questions about that, but I at least promised I wouldn't ask them until you felt better. So please don't provoke me to ask you questions. I won't be able to hold them back if you do." Caitlyn asked as he took the last of the medicines provided and he took it. She smiled happily glad he was at least doing his best to get better. It was a good sign that he wanted to at least. "You could have just said normally you know." She teases with a small smile. "Is there anything else I can get for you? Some more blankets, pillows? A fan to help cool you down?" She asked kindly.

The Doctor laughed weakly "If you have to ask, go ahead, Talking keeps my mind off the sickness for the most part." he was looking at her. He had taken the medicine for his headache and fever first and then takes the other.
He was smiling. "More blankets and pillows would be nice." he really did miss been looked after. "I miss been looked after and cared about," He coughed a bit.
He was smiling and he looked at her.

Caitlyn smiles and goes to the closet close by her room and gets some more blankets and pillows and provides the Doctor with them. "Well, you're most welcome. Well alright then, where to start first...how about you tell me about regeneration if it's not too much to ask. I'm really curious, how does it work exactly? Is it almost like a reset button?" She asks curiously afraid to push him too far too quickly about what he might want to answer or not. She felt bad knowing that he hasn't had anyone to look after him this whole time. Well, she would, as long as he wanted her to, and didn't mind her presence.

The Doctor relaxed agaisnt his pillows "Yeah I suppose thats one way to look at it, when one body is used up and would otherwise die, timelords can change every cell in their body and become a different person almost to cheat death I suppose, But it means we don't really age and just live on, and being the last... well makes it worse." He explained. " Sometimes I feel like its a curse and that I have lived too long."
"A Timelord usually has a set amount of regenerations, when they are used up then we die, though if my planet and people was still around I could get more regenerations."

Caitlyn winced at hearing just how bad it was, carrying the burden of being the last of his kind and how the Doctor viewed it. "That sounds pretty bad indeed. Especially the feeling of having lived too long." She said sympathetically and then a thought came to her. "But whenever you might need a reminder that although lonely you're not alone. There are many people that care for you Doctor, and I hope you don't mind my addition to the list, I or someone else will be there to remind you of that fact." She said with a brilliant smile and walking out of the door for a moment getting a cot to set in the room getting some sleeping bags and two pillows planning to sleep there in case he needed her help in the middle of the night or something. "I will be in the kitchen making dinner. Would you like some more soup or tea?" She asks as she finished looking at him curiously.

The Doctor was looking at her "Yeah it is hard, very lonely, I've watched some friends grow old.... " he gives a sad smile thinking of Sarah Jane. he knew that he never would be able to stay with anybody for ever.
"I always seem to put my friends in danger though." he was looking at her. "Ah I am fine, my stomach still not the best, don't want to push it with eating too much."
He lay back and was looking at her "I hate been sick."

"Doesn't everybody though? And you're more than likely right. It probably isn't wise to push yourself. Well if you want to wash up, the bathroom is just down the hall from my room to the left." She told him as she went to make some penne regatte with sauce and sausages, making sure to put them on low so she could bring some of the books she owned into the room for him to choose to read if he found himself feeling restless. "You probably seen, read, or even met the authors of some of these, but I still find that one can always enjoy a brilliant novel." She said and smiles at him as she went back into the kitchen as the door to the house opened to reveal one of the housemates, Henry who was a 24 year old college student, and a close friend of a close friend of the family. They also seemed to have a relationship together. The friend of her mother's daughter was Selena, also twenty four. She was working full time.
"So you did take the day off of work. Did your boss almost lose his head?" Henry teases. Caitlyn didn't take any days off if she could avoid it or didn't find it necessary to. Didn't mean she didn't take a vacation now and then. She rolls her eyes.
"Nope sorry to disappoint." She said sounding anything but.
