|Background|
Under the preconceived notion that they can gain the acceptance of “God”, and the entry to “Heaven”, humans have always tried to follow a strict guideline concerning morality. They fight their primal instincts, reasoning with themselves that it is what sets them apart from being mere animals, soulless in the eyes of their God. Following their desire to break mankind’s disillusion of being the superior species, each of the Seven Deadly Sins set out to target a human and reduce them to nothing more than what they truly were from the beginning -- animals, consumed by both materialistic and spiritualistic desire, and corruption.

Our story begins with the Seven Deadly Sins in modern day Tokyo.

❥ If you character is human, they must be struggling with their sin. They cannot already be indulging in it or be completely indifferent to their sin. The point of the roleplay is to portray the struggle between humans and their sins.
❥ Obviously, no godmodding. Please be modest and considerate towards others.
❥ Two characters max are permitted per roleplayer -- one sin and one human. (If interest is strong enough, a character limit of one will be enforced in the future. Please be ready to give up one character if this occurs.)
❥ Keep romance at a PG-13 level. Anything above should be taken to PMs.
❥ No drama OOC, drama IC is welcomed, however.

Age:: Although he typically appears in the form of a man in his early 20s, he is just as old as the rest of the sins.

Personality:: Despite being the sin of lust, Lust seldom finds himself lusting over anything whether it be sexually or materialistically. He instead enjoys watching humans give in to their temptations and is easily amused when he sees them struggling with their morals. Playful and mischievous at first, he quickly becomes arrogant and disgusted once he sees the humans he had been previously toying with lose their battle with him. He has never once encountered a human who has been able to withstand his appeal and therefore has a poor impression of the human race in general. Yet his personality around the rest of the sins entirely contrasts his personality when he is dealing with humans as he is generally good natured and easy going with the sins.
Appearance:: To the sins and those who are permitted to see his true form, Lust is a young man standing at 187 cm with a slight build. To humans, he appears in the form of what they most desire. Male, female, young, old, animal, human, anything. He takes no care for fashion when he isn’t around humans but makes his best effort to wear something appropriate for his persona when he is.

Age:: Millenniums old.

Sin:: Gluttony
Personality:: Being the Sin of Gluttony, it’s a given that Gluttony is extremely overindulgent when it comes to food. Surprisingly, outside of anything to do with his sin, Gluttony is a fairly soft spoken boy with a calm, laid-back air to him. He gets along well with the rest of the sins, though it’s to be expected since he rarely interacts with the majority of them, and when he does, he’s careful to treat them with the utmost respect.
Appearance:: Gluttony stands at 178cm (5’10”) with a lean, slightly muscular build (which is extremely ironic given that he’s known for mass consumption of sugary confections). He’s fond of traditional clothing, so he will often be found in a simple light brown yukata with vertical taupe stripes running through it paired with a black obi and haori. If not in traditional clothing, the next most common thing is a simple black suit with a maroon tie. He also has two piercings on his left ear and none on his right.

Personality:: She is very kindhearted and fairly out going. She loves sweets so much she literally can't control herself around them. She is one of those people to meet strangers in the bathroom and come out like they were long lost friends. Her bravery is lacking, infact its probably missing altogether. She is almost always wearing a smile and tries to stay positive about any and every situation.
Appearance (short description as well as image)::
She is thin even though she frequently stuffs her face. She always loves to dress in colors that remind her of cand, going as far as to dye her hair mint green. She only stands at about 5'2 and her weight fluctuates, probably do to her giving in to her sweet tooth, but stays around 100lbs. She predicts thats due to a high metabolism, or due to her non-stop attitude. Because Smiling burns off calories, right. Recently she has been struggling to give up on sweets. She knows that her obsession is unhealthy and it's a sin. But she's having trouble giving them up cold turkey and finds herself stealing a bite or two everyonce in a while.
Background (optional):: She was extremely lonely throughout high school and frequently ignored by her parents. However her chocolate bon-bons and mint candy was always there to give her a hug.

@Rosemoss: Please have your character struggling with their sin instead of already submitting to their sin! The objective of the roleplay is to portray the battle between the humans and their sins, and also for the sins to compete against each other to see which one of them is the strongest (you will see later on in the prologue). Name:: Maya Evans; Real name is Nicole Jones but she let that go just like with her past and never wants to be called it again

Personality:: Maya is a pretty normal girl, she isn't really outgoing but she isn't really shy she just speaks when she feels the need to. Along with that she tends to be emotionless, hiding away her emotions behind a sturdy wall that is near impossible to break. She tends to try and not connect to people to closely and will stay her distance the best she can. If you get on her wrong side even slightly you will be met by her feisty and cold side. She can be extremely feisty and cold, and puts up a really good fight if need be.
Appearance::
Maya has long layered dark auburn, closer to brown, hair reaching down to her belly button with bangs. Maya also has purple eyes paired with a fair skin tone. Maya can be seen wearing mainly neutral, darker colors, or red. She stands at 5'3" and weighs 103lbs with a slender yet curvy body.

Background :: Maya's life is not one for the faint hearted. As a child, Maya has no mother due to her dying from drug abuse at the age of 3. Maya had to deal with her dad after that. Maya's dad originally wasn't that bad, that was until her mother passed away. He got into drugs and unfortunately, they didn't have enough money to support his habit. One day his drug supplier came looking for money and of course her father didn't have it. Instead her father paid with the only thing he could, his young 5 year old daughter. Maya became a toy for the men her father got drugs from. She grew up with that happening often. It wasn't until she turned 14 that it changed. When Maya had tried fighting off one of the men she ended up breaking his nose. Her father got angry and began to beat her up, this had happened before but she wasn't having it anymore. She fought back and grabbed her pocket knife and stabbed him in the eye. It didn't kill him but she used it as an escape. She ran away and lived on the streets until she got a job at a diner at the age of 16. Maya soon found out her father had ended up dying of drug abuse and as bad as it may seem, she was satisfied and relieved. By then, she had built a wall around herself. She wouldn't get close to anyone or ever show emotions. Her past had turned her stone cold and she had no intention of ever letting a man back into her life, not for a long time.
Other:: Maya is in to music and plays the guitar and sings in her free time, it's the only way emotions are shown for her.

Name:: Ume Kurumizawa (lmao i stole this name from that mean chick off kimi ni todoke)

Personality:: Ume is basically that girl in shoujo anime that hates the heroine, and tries to ruin her life, but then becomes best friends - except Ume doesn't want to be your friend. She's got the personality of the basic rich, spoiled rotten daddy's girl and likes to let it known. All her "friends" are only there for her money and Ume doesn't really have a problem with that. Due to her parents giving her all she ever wanted, when Ume sees something she wants, she automatically thinks she should have it - including people. This is why her sin in Envy, like for example, if there's a boy she likes that already has a lover, she goes ballistic with rage. She holds her anger in quite well though, and can usually control her urge to take back what she thinks is her's. Otherwise, Ume puts on the cute, lovable high school girl act and goes about her "normal" high school life.
Appearance:: Ume has pitch black hair that is shorter in the back and a bit longer in the front. She is normally seen her school uniform pictured below, but when she's outside of school or at home she wears the latest, and cutest, fashions available. Both of her ears are pierced as well as her belly-button. She stands at 162cm (5'4") and has a small frame. Most boys in her school agree she's the cutest girl at the school and is almost doll-like in appearance.

Background:: As stated in her personality, Ume has lived a rather fluffy life in her family's large estate. She's always had want she wanted in life, new clothes, a nice TV, or whatever else. Her family isn't all that close though, and most of the time her father is out on business while her mother is out with friends. She'll never admit it but she envies those who have close knit families who eat dinner together and talk every day.

@Kitty: I'm not sure how your character is currently struggling with lust, but if you have an idea as to how she will struggle with it, then that's fine.

I was thinking since she is staying away from relationships she's struggling with it that way. The temptations of being in a relationship and doing what couples do but not trusting anyone enough to even think about a relationship with them. If that makes sense
