Hello!

I love collaborative writing and I am interested in trying to work out a 1x1 RPG with someone whose interests are similar to mine. I find my love of writing resulted from years and years of reading everything I could get my hands on. In fact, early on I was rather undiscriminating about what type of books I would read. I devoured everything from Lord of the Rings to Confessions of a Shopaholic . It was a rather chaotic time for me to say the least. However, as I've become more selective (I like to think I've wizened up a bit), I've narrowed down some subjects that will never cease to interest me:

1. I am enchanted with stories that have well conceived and complex world building elements. I love Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings, anything by Neil Gaiman and many more. Also, Avatar the Last Airbender was great. If you are interested in building a world with me than I couldn't be more excited to get started.

1.5. I wouldn't mind science fiction, fantasy (high and low fantasy works for me), dystopia, cyberpunk or steampunk. Have you played Dishonored (video game)? I have to say that it is one of my favorite more recently imagined worlds. Anyways - world building - are you down?

2. I'm really fascinated by superheroes. However, I'm kind of over all of the traditional ones like Superman, Batman...etc. I do draw a lot of inspiration from them and I know that at this point there's not really any "new" superhero ideas. But, nonetheless, if you're interested in exploring superheroes and supervillainry (is that right?) than I'd love to hear your ideas. I like darker stories with Superheroes and I prefer Marvel over DC if you catch my drift.

3. I like modern fairytale reincarnations or just the infusion of fairytale elements into a grittier and industrial setting. I like sprawling metropolises with a hint of magic.

Have I held your interest so far - do you like what your reading?

Well, if you think you want to expand on any of the aforementioned ideas then I'd like to see if our writing styles are compatible. Here's a few things that I appreciate in a writing partner:

- You relish the details and like painting with your words.
- You try your best to adhere to grammar and spelling rules.
- You like characters that have complexity and depth.
- You like to improvise.
- You are a good collaborator.
- You like Advanced RPGs. I hesitate to use the word "casual" as I don't like the thought of writing casually, but high-casual is also fine as long as you are writing with impact.

Some Things I'd Prefer We Not Do:

- Sorry, but I'm not that enthralled by graphic romance. I mean, love is wonderful but I don't want to be involved in a collaboration that revolves around sex. There are endless internet chat rooms for that, what do you need me for?
- I know very, very little about anime and manga. I mean, if I had to I think I could survive in a conversation about anime and manga, if that's all the other person wanted to talk about, but that conversation would be very superficial. I do love Studio Ghibli though. *Nostalgia*
- I know very, very little about video games. Ok, that's sort of lie. I have extremely advanced knowledge about the Bioshock series and Dishonored (long story). That's it. I'm really not kidding. Odd isn't it?

So, if you've managed this far PM me or comment below. I have a few ideas whirring around but if you have anything you'd like to suggest, feel free to do so. Also, if you have any questions, do ask!

Thanks,
Dmytra

Hey there. If you're still looking, I'd be interested in a Game of Thrones RP, as I'm a fan of both the books and the show.

I'd also be up for a science fiction RP or something involving superheroes - both are new to me but I wouldn't mind giving it a go!
