Oh I had a couple questions on daemons:
Does there need to be a witness present for the bond to be made?
Can the agreement be any sort of agreement?
And last what benefit does a daemon have for making a bond/agreement with a human?

1. No. A contract between daemon and hunter is formed between the two of them. There are no third parties necessary.
2. A stipulation to all contracts between daemon and hunter is that there is the necessity to sacrifice a certain amount of one's life, how much being dependent on the class of the daemon. There can also be other factors to work into this, though the base for all agreements is the hunter sacrificing an amount of their lifespan and the daemon sacrificing their freedom.
3. Vicier may have a different thought on this, though I'm more for leaving it open for interpretation. Daemons, which are the twisted forms of human souls, could be entering a contract because they value the human they're aligning themselves with or because they look to use the human in a certain way.

Hey everyone sorry I've been gone. Super busy as of recently. However, things have started to slow down in my life and I'm ready to get back into the groove of things. I'm totally still interested so don't kick me out! I will be sure to post tomorrow!

Post became a bit of a wall of text, so if anyone wants a

TL;DR

Tychus and his daemons pursued Thok's meal into the forest beyond the reach of the academy, where once found Tychus proceeded to fight the beast. He killed the daemon (a goblin) and lost a chunk of his leg in a desperate last attack by the daemon and returned to Aulani with a bloodied leg. After wandering through campus he found a bed in the infirmary and used a bit of his knowledge in Dead Languages to help him through the time while he waits for a medic to assist him, passing out in the process.
