Hello! Hello, and welcome. You may be wondering what exactly this is. Well, let me explain. Feisty-pants and I have been role-playing together for around 4 years now, and we've done so on two other websites before this one. Each of those websites featured an RPG where players based their character sheets on their own online persona and played them in a fantasy world based on the website. While both of these games meet untimely ends for various reasons, the both of us grew attached to the characters we made. Then, at some point, we wrote a pair of short stories involving the two. After that, the stories basically merged into a singular plotline that revolved around the relationship between the characters and the people and places around them. Every named character and place in the story is inspired by another member or section of one of the forums we've played on, though usually with some adjustments to keep the story our own and to not offend our fellow members. Up to now, we've kept the story between us, if for no other reason than a lack of a place to put it's chronicle. But, after coming to the Guild here and discovering the 1 on 1 section, we asked ourselves, "Why not continue things here?" And so we shall. I don't think we'll be posting any prior entries, as they all involve plot points from those two games, but we have reached a point where our two characters have travelled to the world based on this website, so we will be beginning there. When I have more time, I'll add a summary of what happened prior to this post for those who are interested, along with my character sheet (and I hope Feisty will follow suit). Feel free to read at your leisure once we begin, and we hope you enjoy the show!

Name: Remy Antoinette Charlevoix
Age: Unknown, some say thousands of years.
Gender: Femmé
Race: She calls herself a Sin'Dorei, though in the end all call her a Blood Elf.
Cooking Skill: Desserts.
Backstory: Almost three years ago, a strange girl appeared within the confines of On'Man'Ga's lands. Everywhere she walked, the weather grew colder, and with it, the sentiments of the immediate populace's demeanor towards her also grew chilled. So, at the earliest she can remember, she could remember the life of a nomad, moving listlessly from one town to the next until no homes were left. Driven out of each home and each little cottage she could try to house herself within, eventually a life on the streets as a beggar seemed her best option. Slowly, she starved, and the more she starved, the more desperate she became. Even resorting to stealing food and goods alike to simply make ends meet, so that she could at least keep moving into the next tragedy.
It wasn't until one day that she was on the run from guards that she came into a place called Calibus. A guild of adventureres and misfits just like her. Initally, she was terrified, but she was met with such a warm welcome. With open arms, they accepted her into their home, even in spite of the chilling air she seemed to constantly emanate.
Here, in her new home, she had her first encounter with the Silver Tounged Weaver. He whose flames seemed to embrace creation and destruction. Elijah. Spotting the miserable awkwardness in the Elven girl, he took her beneath his wing alongside the other Wardens. Soon before long, they were engaged in all sorts of missions and misadventures both comical and dangerous at times and it is with his careful help and guidance, she gained better control and precision with her magic. To the point where no longer did she constantly surround herself with cold, but welcomed the warmth of the world. It is with his help that she rose to become one of the most powerful Arch Magi in On'Man, famed for both her prowess and beauty alike.
With fame came suitors, and she rejected them.
Yet her bliss in finally finding a place she could not call home was still met with tragedy. The world as they knew it was slowly dying. Familiar faces were disappearing into the abyss, and sent out on the most dangerous mission by the Guildmaster, Elijah and Remy found themselves standing at a precipice. In order to continue existing, one of the great four needed to be sacrificed. Daniel, the Warden of the Air, Elijah, the Flame of Creation, Remy, the Warden of Water, or Rastia, the Warden of the Earth. Much to her refusal, Elijah stepped forward to be the sacrifice.
She was going to jump instead, whether they liked it or not..
First, she leapt into the void, and the decay of the world stood still. Then he, leapt as well two jumped into the residual remnants of the world. Their sacrifice being that which bound the world together finally put a stop to its prolonged death and brought new life. Yet as her eyes closed with naught but a peaceful expression on her face, she felt no pain, no burning, no burst of magical energy destroying who she was, there was nothing. In fact, she could feel light, and a warmth upon her face of the sun kissing her cheek. Opening one eye, the Elven girl saw rolling green fields and skies of blue. Could this have been the afterlife she was told existed?
No. It was quite far from this fact.
It was a completely different world! A land called Batoto with many new faces and friends alike! This time, the awkwardness gone from her poise, she settled in quite comfortably to her new surroundings. Soon she became known as one of the most capable Magi. Yet there was still something missing.
Relationships:
The Captain - (lvl 1) Currently in her travels, Remy is onboard a ship owned by a privateer (others would call her something as uncouth as a Pirate) known as Sciutto. It can be peculiar to think that she would opt for such a mode of travel, however, the ship was sturdy and fast, even though the price seemed a little steep. The journey in itself was nice and quiet to start, until the ship came under attack by an opposing Navy, intending to capture or kill the Captain of her ferry. The enemy's ship was larger, with more people, and better guns, so Remy reluctantly decided to even the odds. Soon decimating the Ship and it's crew with it, the Magi found herself being invited to the Blades of Fealty, the commander to which Sciutto served being someone she had been searching quite some time for.
That, and she really enjoyed Remy's Ice Cream recipe.
Fay - (lvl 1) A peculiar boy to which claims that his mother is a tentacle monster of sorts. Obviously being that of the Fae, he quickly befriended Remy through bits of small talk and touches of strange humor throughout the voyage. Though it is little known that he too was about to join the ranks of BoF. Having many questions as to her lineage, the Magi let very little on about her history, as such things she preferred would stay hidden. Only talking of former friends and a guild she had once served, he seemed to take great interest; though scatterbrained as that may be. He was a stowaway on the Captain's ship, which very much surprised the Magi when he wasn't simply just thrown overboard.
Drexal - (lvl 1) - A descendant of Walter, though assumingly just as lecherous, Remy initially kept her distance from the man during his time in On'Man. Though as time grew on, the immortal Elven girl eventually befriended the man, and he often took up a rather over protective stance of her akin to an older brother of sorts. Yet she could never understand why, perhaps to amend for the sins of his great-great-great-great-great Grandfather. Even though the Drexal of this universe shares no blood relation with the one she is so accustomed to, Remy still thinks of him as the same.
Kaal Ratri - (lvl 1) A fellow ancient, Kaal is a credibly powerful Magi that Remy holds immense respect for. Though she hasn't quite met the Magi face to face just yet, the fact that the Captain's ship is en-route back to the Guild Headquarters means that the meeting between two masters of incredible power is inevitable. So great is her reputation that murmurs of rumor still linger throughout the crew of the ship, leading the Frost Magi to almost be intimidated. Yet, it would not be the first time she'd be in the company of a God, nor it seemed, would it be the last.
Dan Halen - (lvl 1) Another peculiarly familiar face in the halls of Blades of Fealty. Unsure of him, his general nature and actions lead her to believe that he is one and the same man that she had known in On'Man! Though she never found the bravery to confront him on such a thought. Often were they deployed on missions together, and quickly they began to work quite well with one another with greater coordination, perhaps without even thinking! Soon, she'll find the conviction to confront him on whether or not he is the one she knew so well from another time and place.

Style Description: Remy's style of magic is one that is truly rarely seen if ever. And it encompasses two specific elements. She is a magi that manipulates time, and utilizes controlling and devastating frost magic. Utilizing precise and manipulative Time Magic, she enhances her Frost Magic abilities as she freezes her enemies and in an essence, shatters them. Conjuring what seems to be bolts, lances, and bombs of Frost, Barriers of Ice and the like, she has a tendency to vanish in the blink of an eye only to be seen in the distance fromt he original point.
Style Bonuses:
Frost Artes - Allows Remy to wield her specialized Ice elemental Artes.
Time Artes - A special range of Artes not normally available to even her magically talented race. This allows her to make use of them.
Eternal Freeze - A special trait that distinguishes her as the Mistress of Frozen Eternity. All Frost Artes inflict a Slow status effect which reduces the afflicted's SPD by 10%.
Overlimit:
Time Warp - (M.Atk Support) This Overlimit increases the combat capability of herself and her allies by a significant amount. Literally making it seem as if they no longer obey the rules of time itself as they move and strike with utterly inhuman speeds. For three posts, the party's combat capability becomes utterly monstrous, and a force to be truly feared. (+2 to base Skl/Spd for All party members)

Frost Dragon's Breath - (M.Atk Assault) (0 TP) Remy conjures a Dragon's head that blasts enemies close in front of her with Frigid Shards of Ice Shrapnel.
Frozen Orb - (M. Atk Assault) (0 TP) Remy sends forward a orb of Frost that sends small bursts of Frost Magic outward from it in a ten-yard radius. Travels with remarkable speed towards her target for 20 seconds.
Frost Bolt - (M.Atk Assault) - (1 TP) Remy conjures a bolt of Frost that strikes her enemy with destructive power, and also slows down their movement.
Ice Lance - (M.Atk Assault) - (2 TP) Remy conjures a Lance of Ice that is as sharp as it is deadly, and hurls it at her enemy.
Ice Nova - (M.Atk Assault) - (1 TP) Remy conjures a literally explosion of Ice that can snare any person within ten yards of her. Making them immobilized for a brief moment of time.
Frost Bomb - (M.Atk Assault) - (3 TP) Remy surrounds an adversary with frigid air, which eventually collapses in on them and detonates in a frigid, shrapnel-filled blast after several seconds.
Cone of Cold - (M.Atk Assault) - (2 TP) Whipping air about violently, Remy unleashes a massive cone of frigid air that runs the risk of freezing people in place.
Blizzard - (M. Atk Assault) - (3 TP) Remy conjures forth a devastating blizzard with harsh winds and bitter temperatures over a general area. Ranging from a ten yard width to a city block. Causes reduced visibility, damage from hail and shards of ice tearing through the sky and the like. She however, needs to channel this ability to get it to work and to continue to work properly.
Support Abilities:
Ice Block - (M.Atk Support) - (2 TP) In times of extreme danger, Remy surrounds herself in a massive block of ice. Of which is impervious to physical and magical blows to buy time.
Icy Veins - (M. Atk Support) - (1 TP) For a brief moment of time, she increases her own personal haste by threefold. Increasing her combat capabilities remarkably. (+2 to base Spd/Skl for three posts)
Ice Barrier - (M.Atk Support) - (2 TP) Conjuring a shield about herself, it is a semi-translucent barrier of ice that can take physical blows. If broken, the shield explodes outward in an Ice Nova.
Ring of Frost - (M. Atk Support) - (2 TP) Creating a massive ring of translucent magic on the ground, any who trespass in or out of it's borders become frozen and encased in ice.
Deep Freeze - (M.Atk Support) - (3 TP) Remy literally freezes a person in place. Encasing them in a block of ice. Holding them imprisoned for a few seconds and making them extremely vulnerable.
Frozen Armor - (M.Atk Support) (0 TP) Remy can create a hardened, transparent icy armor for her own protection. Those who succeed in hitting her are slowed down as the Ice travels down the blade to their body.
Shatter - (M.Atk Passive) - Any enemy struck by an Ice Lance while Frozen or Frozen in place suffers a "shatter" effect. In an essence, they take an extra 50% damage from Ice Lance
Blink - (M.Atk Support) - (0 TP) Remy ceases to exist in one point of time, and reemerges in another. Ranging in distance from several feet to nearly thirty feet away.
Counterspell - (M.Atk Support) - (0 TP) Twice in any fight, Remy can counterspell an opponent caster. Breaking their cast and silencing them, making them unable to cast for several seconds.
Greater Invisibiliity - (M.Atk Support) (1 TP) Before combat begins, the Mistress of Time can warp the very air that surrounds her, creating an illusion of invisibility for her adversaries.
Alter Time - (M.Atk Support) - (3 TP) Remy alters the flow of time. Creating an imprint of herself in another time, at her will, she can return to that imprint, undoing anything that might've been done to her.
Presence of Mind - (M. Atk Support) - (1 TP) Remy alters her own personal time for several minutes, granting increased casting haste. (+2 Spd)
Evocation - (M. Atk Support) - (0 TP) Channelling her focus for several seconds, Remy rewinds the costs of casting magic. The longer the channel lasts, the more TP she restores. Though it makes her vulnerable, as there is nothing else she can do while channeling.
Burst Artes:
Frost Bolt Barrage - (M.Atk Assault) - (4 TP) Remy summons anywhere from six to a dozen frostbolts at once to strike her adversary or adversaries with similar effects.
Ice Lance Barrage - (M. Atk Assault) - (4 TP) Remy summons anywhere from six to a dozen Ice Lances and hurls them at a single target. Often used as an execution move.
Frost Bomb Barrage - (M.Atk Assault) - (4 TP) Conjuring multiple Frost Bombs at once, Remy literally causes several to a dozen bombs to detonate at once on a single person. Dealing massive damage to not only her target, but to any adversary that might be nearby.

Backstory: There is a place in the world of Foruumia that belongs to no sovereign nation. It does not belong to Batotia, nor to On'Eman'Ga, or even to Quatrechan. It is a vast chain of islands, filled with dark, foreboding jungles that hide a multitude of creatures, strange locales, and artifacts within their leaves. Most know this place as Kaiga Mori- the picture forest. And for those with enough bravery to challenge its daunting expanse, enough cunning to navigate its winding paths, and enough strength to fend off the monster within, this place where none rule but nature can yield treasures and specimens aplenty. Enough so, that some have chosen to make their living off of doing this. Dan Halen is one such man. Nobody quite knows where he came from or what he used to do. Many would be sworn he used to be a hitman or Special Forces Commander, but they don't have anything concrete to use with it. Others would declare that Dan was once the messenger of a goddess, the go-between for his deity and the people under her care... and the angel of death for those that earned her wrath. However, many find this laughable; after all, if he was a servant of a goddess once, why is he not now? If she had "died" her killers would've surely slain him first, and if he had angered her somehow he wouldn't be standing there for them to discuss, now would he? Still more will hold fast that he is little more than a hired gun who would do anything for money, even slaying his own sister, but they don't dare say that in front of him. All that is really known is that Dan Halen is an incredible fighter and marksman who walks into and out of the Kaiga Mori on a daily basis nearly unscathed, usually on a hunt for someone else's benefit, after some picture or theme song or another, and that he's always more than happy to share a particularly good bounty with those he calls friends. And if you pay him enough- or have him on standing commission, like the Blades of Fealty do- he'll happily hunt down something (or very possibly someONE) for you.
Relationships:
Drexal Maxie ("You're adorable, kid.") [Lv 1] A guy with the air of a street rat who fancies himself a ninja assassin, Drexal started off as "An annoying little puke that the employer wanted me partnered with for heaven knows what reason and who I'd love to shoot", but following through on that would have been unprofessional. So he tolerated the little shinobi and his loud mouth. Eventually, through who knows what reason, tolerance turned into something that could be called proper regard for the guy. Life is weird.
Remy Antoinette Charlevoix ("What is it about her...?") [Lv 1]: On the rare occasion that the two cross paths, Dan acts a bit strange around the Sin'dorei magus. He tends to act very reserved around her, more so than usual, almost as if he's not sure he can trust her. And yet, when the two of them are thrown into the fray together, they seem to instinctively move in unison, building off one another as if they'd fought together a thousand times...
Kaal Ratri ("Well, this is new...") [Lv 1]: Probably the single oddest case Dan's ever taken, Kaal was painted up by his client to be some sort of world-ending terror that needed to die before her evil plans came to fruition and all that jazz. But after a bit of investigating, he came to determine that unless those plans involved drowning the world in chocolate cream pies, it wasn't gonna happen. Truth be told, she's one of the nicer people he's ever met, so he gave her an offer; if she ever wants to pull her death and resurrection act, she could ask him to provide the cause of death and he would happily agree. Plus side, her pies are delicious. Now, if he could only figure out why the ice cream tasted so familiar...

-Hunter's Arsenal: A myriad of firearms that Dan can seem to call to his hands from thin air. Nobody is quite sure how he does that...
-Chishio Bara: A specially engraved revolver with a red lacquered rosewood handle, this weapon is a sentimental keepsake for Dan that he carries on him at all times and is only used for his most powerful attacks (ie Burst & Mystic). Trying to take it from him is colloquially listed as the 3rd most surefire method of suicide.
-Trusty Machete: Exactly what it sounds like. Never leave home without it.
Style Name: "The Hunt is On"
Style Description:
"A poor hunter is doomed the moment his prey escapes his ideal range. A skilled hunter can herd his prey into the range he wants. But the greatest hunter does not need such things. For the greatest hunters, there is no such thing as a range that isn't ideal."
Dan's style of combat is one that revolves around the use of firearms, as most would suspect by his arsenal. What they would not expect, however, is the fact that he does not fight like a normal gunman. He doesn't seek a place of cover from which to fire at long range, he stands out in the open, almost as if he is daring his opponent to try and close the gap into melee with him. Once they do, they are often surprised to find that not only is Dan able to use his guns effectively at close range, he is arguably all the more deadly when he does. He seems to specialize in a form of Close Quarters Combat that combines martial arts strikes with rapid pistol shots to ruin any opponent foolish enough to get in close. In addition, this style allows Dan to channel his willpower into his guns to serve in the place of bullets, instead firing blasts of force that he can redirect to varying degrees while in mid-flight. This combination serves to make him an incredibly lethal opponent at any range.
Style Bonuses:
Gun Kata Artes - The special form of combat with guns, rather than standard marksmanship.
Trick Shot - Gives access to Will Bullets, which allow 1-3TP Artes to change direction once after firing.
Dual Wield - Allows Dan to wield two guns, allowing him to aim two targets simultaneously, while he can only use one Arte even then, he can use his free hand (depending on Arte used) to fire a basic attack at the 2nd target. He cannot basic attack the same target in this instance.
Overlimit: ????? (Nobody knows what it is or what it looks like, and Dan's not talking)

-Step Off: Quickly fires a shot at an opponent's legs in melee. Meant to quickly stagger a target and dissuade them from further melee antics. Melee, Physical.
-Clear a Path: Strikes a frontal target with a swift attack from either a hand chop or the Trusty Machete, intending to cut them out of the way like a piece of foliage in the jungle. Melee, Physical.
-Minor Difficulties, Please Hold: Fires a shot aimed at an opponent's weapon in an attempt to disarm or disable it. If their weapon is their arm, well... Range, Physical.

-Steady Shot: A simple technique taught to any gunman, Dan levels his weapon, takes aim, and fires once at his target. Range, Physical.
-Have a Seat: A sweep kick intended to take an opponent off of their legs and onto their asses. Melee, Physical.
-Pistol Whip: Exactly what it sounds like, Dan bashes his opponent in the face or stomach with his gun. Melee, Physical.
-Ricochet: A confusing shot that, when fired, misses a target intentionally because it's aimed at another surface so it bounces off and strikes the target from an angle they can't possibly predict. Range, Physical.

-Five Rounds Rapid: Dan fires multiple shots in rapid succession to pin down or eviscerate a target. Range, Physical.
-Double Barrel: Dan pairs up two weapons, one in each hand, and combines their shots into a larger attack that hits harder. Range, Physical.
-Reap My Boot: Dan delivers a brutal roundhouse kick aimed at his opponent's neck. Melee, Physical.
-Die Standing: Dan dashes inside an opponent's guard and presses his gun right up against their body, then fires several rounds into them at point blank range. Melee, Physical.

-Raining Chaos: Dan fires a series of shots into the air, which then alter direction at and come down on top of a target area in a hail of pain. Range, Physical.
-One Shot...: Dan braces his shooting arm before firing a shot that is much stronger than the normal Steady Shot. Range, Physical.
-Trophy Taker: A brutal swipe with the Trusty Machete or a hand chop that hits with enough force to take a target's head off. Melee, Physical.

-...One Kill: A shot even stronger than One Shot..., this one usually requires Dan to either put a solid object behind his back or get ready for the knock-back that comes from the recoil. Needless to say, if he decides to shoot this, his target had best make the same arrangements. Range, Physical.
-Shooting Stars: Dan fires multiple shots in every direction, which then fan out and then reverse themselves to all pierce a target from every conceivable direction. Range, Physical.
-Collateral Damage: Dan surges his Willpower bullets, not into a gun's chamber, but into the gun itself. Once filled to bursting, he hurls the gun toward a target before shooting it with the Chishio Bara, causing the thrown gun to violently erupt in a massive explosion. Range, Physical.
Support
-Weapon Swap, Shotgun [0 TP]: Dan draws a shotgun as his weapon, which give his Basic Attacks a knockback effect, multi-target damage at mid-range, and 150% damage at close range
-Weapon Swap, SMG [0 TP]: Dan draws a submachine gun as his weapon, which causes his Basic Attacks to fire 3 shots that deal 50% damage instead of one (for a total of 150% between the three)
-Weapon Swap, Sniper Rifle [0 TP]: Dan draws a sniper rifle as his weapon, which gives his Basic Attacks 200% damage, but also a high miss chance on targets in mid and close range.
-Weapon Swap, Pistol [0 TP]: Dan draws a pistol as his weapon. He gains no benefits or penalties when using a pistol.
-Charge Shot [1 TP]: If Dan takes a turn to do so, he can push extra Willpower into his shots in order to deal 1.5x damage on his next Ranged Arte. This charge lasts until fired, and are only consumed by Dan's Ranged Artes.
-Devil's Draw [1 TP]: Dan rapidly switches his weapon in the heat of battle, providing an additional effect based on the switched weapon;
Shotgun- Instantly knocks back all targets within melee range.
SMG- Allows Dan to use his next Ranged Arte twice in the same turn, provided he can afford the double TP Cost.
Sniper Rifle- Instantly arms and activates Will Bullets, regardless of the normal cooldown. Cooldown then resets as normal.
Pistol- Removes 1 status ailment from Dan automatically.
-Blade Barricade [1 TP]: Dan can, if the need is pressing, use his arm or a bladed weapon as a defensive measure against an opponent's attacks, parrying them away and negating the damage. Melee only, Defensive.

-Hunter's Thrill: The hunt is at its peak when the prey is trying to run for it, and Dan lives for that moment. Deals 25% extra damage against targets attempting to run away or dodge his attacks.

All that is really known is that Dan Halen is an incredible fighter and marksman who walks into and out of the Kaiga Mori on a daily basis nearly unscathed, usually on a hunt for someone else's benefit, after some picture or theme song or another, and that he's always more than happy to share a particularly good bounty with those he calls friends. And if you pay him enough- or have him on standing commission, like the Blades of Fealty do- he'll happily hunt down something (or very possibly someONE) for you.
Relationships:
Drexal Maxie ("You're adorable, kid.") [Lv 1] A guy with the air of a street rat who fancies himself a ninja assassin, Drexal started off as "An annoying little puke that the employer wanted me partnered with for heaven knows what reason and who I'd love to shoot", but following through on that would have been unprofessional. So he tolerated the little shinobi and his loud mouth. Eventually, through who knows what reason, tolerance turned into something that could be called proper regard for the guy. Life is weird.
Remy Antoinette Charlevoix ("What is it about her...?") [Lv 1]: On the rare occasion that the two cross paths, Dan acts a bit strange around the Sin'dorei magus. He tends to act very reserved around her, more so than usual, almost as if he's not sure he can trust her. And yet, when the two of them are thrown into the fray together, they seem to instinctively move in unison, building off one another as if they'd fought together a thousand times...
Kaal Ratri ("Well, this is new...") [Lv 1]: Probably the single oddest case Dan's ever taken, Kaal was painted up by his client to be some sort of world-ending terror that needed to die before her evil plans came to fruition and all that jazz. But after a bit of investigating, he came to determine that unless those plans involved drowning the world in chocolate cream pies, it wasn't gonna happen. Truth be told, she's one of the nicer people he's ever met, so he gave her an offer; if she ever wants to pull her death and resurrection act, she could ask him to provide the cause of death and he would happily agree. Plus side, her pies are delicious. Now, if he could only figure out why the ice cream tasted so familiar...

Equipment:
-Hunter's Arsenal: A myriad of firearms that Dan can seem to call to his hands from thin air. Nobody is quite sure how he does that...
-Chishio Bara: A specially engraved revolver with a red lacquered rosewood handle, this weapon is a sentimental keepsake for Dan that he carries on him at all times and is only used for his most powerful attacks (ie Burst & Mystic). Trying to take it from him is colloquially listed as the 3rd most surefire method of suicide.
-Trusty Machete: Exactly what it sounds like. Never leave home without it.
Style Name: "The Hunt is On"
Style Description:
"A poor hunter is doomed the moment his prey escapes his ideal range. A skilled hunter can herd his prey into the range he wants. But the greatest hunter does not need such things. For the greatest hunters, there is no such thing as a range that isn't ideal."
Dan's style of combat is one that revolves around the use of firearms, as most would suspect by his arsenal. What they would not expect, however, is the fact that he does not fight like a normal gunman. He doesn't seek a place of cover from which to fire at long range, he stands out in the open, almost as if he is daring his opponent to try and close the gap into melee with him. Once they do, they are often surprised to find that not only is Dan able to use his guns effectively at close range, he is arguably all the more deadly when he does. He seems to specialize in a form of Close Quarters Combat that combines martial arts strikes with rapid pistol shots to ruin any opponent foolish enough to get in close. In addition, this style allows Dan to channel his willpower into his guns to serve in the place of bullets, instead firing blasts of force that he can redirect to varying degrees while in mid-flight. This combination serves to make him an incredibly lethal opponent at any range.
Style Bonuses:
Gun Kata Artes - The special form of combat with guns, rather than standard marksmanship.
Trick Shot - Gives access to Will Bullets, which allow 1-3TP Artes to change direction once after firing.
Dual Wield - Allows Dan to wield two guns, allowing him to aim two targets simultaneously, while he can only use one Arte even then, he can use his free hand (depending on Arte used) to fire a basic attack at the 2nd target. He cannot basic attack the same target in this instance.
Overlimit: ????? (Nobody knows what it is or what it looks like, and Dan's not talking)
All attacks now use the Chishio Bara, which fires shots that deal 10% additional damage. In addition, all Non-Burst/Mystic Artes gain the same priority as 1 TP Artes

-Quickdraw: Draws a gun and fires with inhumanly fast reflexes. Meant for speed over damage. Range, Physical.
-Step Off: Quickly fires a shot at an opponent's legs in melee. Meant to quickly stagger a target and dissuade them from further melee antics. Melee, Physical.
-Clear a Path: Strikes a frontal target with a swift attack from either a hand chop or the Trusty Machete, intending to cut them out of the way like a piece of foliage in the jungle. Melee, Physical.
-Minor Difficulties, Please Hold: Fires a shot aimed at an opponent's weapon in an attempt to disarm or disable it. If their weapon is their arm, well... Range, Physical.
1 TP
-Steady Shot: A simple technique taught to any gunman, Dan levels his weapon, takes aim, and fires once at his target. Range, Physical.
-Have a Seat: A sweep kick intended to take an opponent off of their legs and onto their asses. Melee, Physical.
-Pistol Whip: Exactly what it sounds like, Dan bashes his opponent in the face or stomach with his gun. Melee, Physical.
-Ricochet: A confusing shot that, when fired, misses a target intentionally because it's aimed at another surface so it bounces off and strikes the target from an angle they can't possibly predict. Range, Physical.
2 TP
-Five Rounds Rapid: Dan fires multiple shots in rapid succession to pin down or eviscerate a target. Range, Physical.
-Double Barrel: Dan pairs up two weapons, one in each hand, and combines their shots into a larger attack that hits harder. Range, Physical.
-Reap My Boot: Dan delivers a brutal roundhouse kick aimed at his opponent's neck. Melee, Physical.
-Die Standing: Dan dashes inside an opponent's guard and presses his gun right up against their body, then fires several rounds into them at point blank range. Melee, Physical.
3 TP
-Raining Chaos: Dan fires a series of shots into the air, which then alter direction at and come down on top of a target area in a hail of pain. Range, Physical.
-One Shot...: Dan braces his shooting arm before firing a shot that is much stronger than the normal Steady Shot. Range, Physical.
-Trophy Taker: A brutal swipe with the Trusty Machete or a hand chop that hits with enough force to take a target's head off. Melee, Physical.
4 TP
-...One Kill: A shot even stronger than One Shot..., this one usually requires Dan to either put a solid object behind his back or get ready for the knock-back that comes from the recoil. Needless to say, if he decides to shoot this, his target had best make the same arrangements. Range, Physical.
-Shooting Stars: Dan fires multiple shots in every direction, which then fan out and then reverse themselves to all pierce a target from every conceivable direction. Range, Physical.
-Collateral Damage: Dan surges his Willpower bullets, not into a gun's chamber, but into the gun itself. Once filled to bursting, he hurls the gun toward a target before shooting it with the Chishio Bara, causing the thrown gun to violently erupt in a massive explosion. Range, Physical.
Support
-Weapon Swap, Shotgun [0 TP]: Dan draws a shotgun as his weapon, which give his Basic Attacks a knockback effect, multi-target damage at mid-range, and 150% damage at close range
-Weapon Swap, SMG [0 TP]: Dan draws a submachine gun as his weapon, which causes his Basic Attacks to fire 3 shots that deal 50% damage instead of one (for a total of 150% between the three)
-Weapon Swap, Sniper Rifle [0 TP]: Dan draws a sniper rifle as his weapon, which gives his Basic Attacks 200% damage, but also a high miss chance on targets in mid and close range.
-Weapon Swap, Pistol [0 TP]: Dan draws a pistol as his weapon. He gains no benefits or penalties when using a pistol.
-Charge Shot [1 TP]: If Dan takes a turn to do so, he can push extra Willpower into his shots in order to deal 1.5x damage on his next Ranged Arte. This charge lasts until fired, and are only consumed by Dan's Ranged Artes.
-Devil's Draw [1 TP]: Dan rapidly switches his weapon in the heat of battle, providing an additional effect based on the switched weapon;
Shotgun- Instantly knocks back all targets within melee range.
SMG- Allows Dan to use his next Ranged Arte twice in the same turn, provided he can afford the double TP Cost.
Sniper Rifle- Instantly arms and activates Will Bullets, regardless of the normal cooldown. Cooldown then resets as normal.
Pistol- Removes 1 status ailment from Dan automatically.
-Blade Barricade [1 TP]: Dan can, if the need is pressing, use his arm or a bladed weapon as a defensive measure against an opponent's attacks, parrying them away and negating the damage. Melee only, Defensive.
Passive
-Hunter's Thrill: The hunt is at its peak when the prey is trying to run for it, and Dan lives for that moment. Deals 25% extra damage against targets attempting to run away or dodge his attacks.

So, for the opening stretch here, I think there should be something of a chase/hunt between the two of them. The idea that I had was that for a couple of months in RP Time, my posts would chronicle Dan's path through Guildaris (if you have a different idea for the christening of this site's world, feel free) and the various trials he faces, while yours in turn consist of following Remy as she traces his steps through the same places (so, for instance, if my post had Dan rescue a farmer from some bandits in a rural area, yours could consist of Remy encountering that farmer and finding out about it, followed by her finding something else that catches your fancy that I'll retroactively fill in with my post, so on and so forth), and we do a little leapfrogging from there until we think it's a good time for her to catch up.

Then I suppose we could either dinl with this one or start a new one (the latter is probably easier so I can use multiple posts to do Story Thus Far, I have reason to believe we've well over 150,000 characters invested in it).

Damn if those CSs don't bring back memories though. I might reformat mine a bit and toss it in the Character tab while I try to find the time to go dig through those convos. Should probably grab the Pokemon ones if I find them in the process. I'll be sure to keep you posted!
