Hey guys! Lately I've been craving some sort of dystopian RP in which our characters are born just to see how long they could live in a merciless society. I'm looking for something dark, aggressive, and mature as well as passionate and romantic. Because of this, I'm only looking for hetero pairings, with me playing a Male character. But if multiple people take interest in this, I'm willing to post it up in the Casual section of group RPs. :) Just looking for one or two partners right now, though!
For the past couple of days, I've been churning several ideas in my little head, and so far, this is what I have came up with. NOTE: This is just a general outline. If any of you express interest, I will delve deeper and share more specific details.
Setting would be place in the near-future, in an alternate world within an alternate city similar to Earth. It is set in a dystopian society, where a singular, authoritative body has a whole country clutched within its merciless grasp. The story will take place within the country, Ohn-Hai, and more specifically, it's capitol, Genesis City. Think of cyberpunk, and you'll have an idea of what kind of setting this story will take place in. :) Anyway, gangs are rampant in Genesis City, and are the only reckless groups that dare defy the orderly laws of the Government. Not only do they constantly clash with its brutal police force, inter-gang and territorial wars are commonplace, making Genesis City the number one in violence and killings.
I think it'd be fun to base our characters off of this type of setting, and it's an idea that ive been itching to bring to life with a potential partner. :) I'm also making it supernatural, so we'd have some power-wielders in conjunction with moderate cyberpunk technology (so no lasers and flying cars and lightsabers), which includes crude bio-augmentations, railguns, holograms, hoverboards, ect. The supernatural powers itself will not be the typical fairy-tale, fantasy type magic either. I'm thinking of something more dark and sinister, and having a bit of realism (meaning no summoning creatures or conjuring a lightning bolt from a sky. those sort of things!). Again, I'll provide more information if you're wanting to do this with me. :)
But yeah! This is the general idea of it. I have a lot of the structure and skeleton worked out, so i'll just need a partner to help me flesh it out into a real RP. Thanks for taking the time to read everything I've wrote, and hope to get back from some of you guys soon. Have a good day~.
