Yeah *nods* rounds is something I've been doing for the past 2-3 years and it ensures people keep up and no one ends up getting ignored, it also prompts people to not just talk to one or two people.

Alright, never tried a rounds-style RP before. Kinda happy about trying it out though, seems nice.

I've liked using it. I'm pretty pleased with the activity so far too. Of course if a player has to be skilled for more than 1-2 rounds, they're generally on probation because no one wants to wait for 'that guy'.

Obviously. Have you ever had to wait for "that guy" though? Are people like that without warning or something?

Oh god yes, some people do give warning and if they do, I'm more lenient (and it's happened in a small group with people who've been with me for a good while). But if they end up vanishing for good or say neglect this and post elsewhere, I pretty much ask them to leave/kick em out. It's rude to me and the other players who have to pick up someone's slack if they don't post or make an effort to have good content. I have very little patience for writers who complain about having nothing to do when it's their job to meet people/plots halfway. If you like writing and the people you're with, you tend to make an evident effort and if life gets in the way, you say something.

if you don't (and aren't happy), you're probably already giving up or life really is important you need to step down and exit properly.

Is it a "thing" to have awesome banners for an RP's interest check/first OOC post? I'm clicking through all these RPs and all of advance has some sort of picture or banner. Honestly, it's really nice to look at.

Well Adv likes effort and shiny stuff to attract players...I think Casual does banners and the like. I used to make a lot of pretty banners and headers for things but with my laptop dead, that isn't happening until my Photoshop gets carried over to the new one. *sighs*

The screen died about...two months ago? Haven't gotten a replacement yet.

I'm using my table (with a nice blue tooth keyboard) and a family PC.

I had it for about 4-5 years with heavy use so I think it's about time to put it out of it's misery. I miss the big goof though. <3

Lately, for some reason, I've been thinking way too much about death. Specifically, MY death. With that said, I'm keeping my eye on this RP. I won't be joining (since I can't post novella), but I will definitely be a reader/OOC-er. Props to the creator for, well, creating it.

I hope this can be of help to you. My own death is something I think about more often than I think is healthy...it's reassuring to know that fears kind of connect us together. ^^'

I don't think it's unhealthy to think of it as much as it is to worry. I actually enjoy thinking about it, but I'm not worried. Time is time, it'll go with our without me. I wanna mean the most to the people I'm with now, rather than care what happens in the future. Do I want to die? Hell no. Am I afraid? Hell yes. XD but only because I don't know where it goes. Just gotta enjoy the little things until then ;3

Sometimes, I stare at myself in the mirror and imagine aging rapidly. The whole, horrifying process. My skin and hair losing its pigmentation and slowly becoming faded and pale. My skin sagging and wrinkling. Then my body decomposing and my flesh being stripped from my body until I become a skeleton.

It seems unhealthy, but I imagine that so I can think about the whole idea of beauty and my mortality in a quick 5-10 minutes and get on with my life.
