It was after getting caught on one such occasion that she was assigned a guard - to protect her, they said, though Calliope always suspected it was to keep her in line. An obedient daughter made for a better match, if they decided to marry her off, after all. Unexpectedly cynical, particularly given her high-ranking status and relatively easy life.
