, as that is the easiest for him to identify with. He has a large scar on his neck from when his head was cut off. The ghostly glow is just for show, and he can turn it on and off as he pleases.
Personality: Marc is a friendly and warm person. He has a rather relaxed attitude, though is by no means a slacker. He likes to make jokes and tries to make the best of life. Or un-life…

Bio: Marc was born and raised in a rather normal family. He was lovingly raised, though at times his parents were very distant, almost as if they weren't there, other times they seemed as if they had switched places with each other. He didn't think much of it, he just assumed that it was normal. He went to elementary school, had friends, and basically he was a very normal person. At his 12th birthday, his parents told him they had a big surprise for him, and ritually slaughtered him.

At first he was very pissed about this, as anyone would. It was only then that he noticed he still had feelings and consciousness. It was then that his parents appeared beside him and told him they were descendants of an ancient magic family, who gained immortality by becoming ghosts. They thought him the basics of being a ghost and he was sent to the Final Academy.

Power: Ectoplasm Manipulation: Marc is able to create and manipulate ectoplasm, a ghost substance that is able to ignore most other kinds of materials and energies.

Ability 1: Spirit Physiology: Intangible, invisible, incorporeal and shapeless. He is however able to materialize, change these things and appear however he wants. He usually appears as how his body would look, though he can look however he wants.
Ability 2: Possession: Marc is able to posses bodies. The easiest are those who are dead or weak willed individuals. He is also able to party possess bodies, allowing him to speak to them telepathically, or share bodies.
Ability 3: Magical body: Marc's body has been magically preserved. It is unable to be possessed unless Marc allows it. It also heals from every injury, and even when it is completely destroyed, Marc is able to recreate it. Other than this it doesn't serve any purpose and is just a very durable vessel for him to wear.
Markings: On his neck he has a large scar from when his head was cut off.
Family: His parents are alive. Well, not really, but they are ghosts, just like him.
Friends: None anymore. He had to leave his friends behind when he died and was sent to Final Academy.
Sentimental Attachment: His body.

None of those are powers. A ghost would naturally be able to possess abilities, and be able to change forms. So, if I were you, I'd make them all abilities, and give him much stronger powers.

What is ectoplasm? Never heard of it.

Ectoplasm is basically what the ghost world is made from. Usually it is described as a green sickly goo that doesn't interact with the normal world, unless forced too. It gives me a very flexible material to play with.

Had a pretty good idea for a new character.

Name: Aeka Therion

Nickname: Esper Girl

Gender: Female

Age: 13

Species: Psion

Appearance: "Behold, psychic overload!"

Personality: Aeka is surprisingly boisterous and haughty for someone her age, with something of an ego problem. She demands respect from anyone and everyone, and is prone to rather childish behavior when she does not receive it. Mocking her small statue is another sure-fire way to set off her temper. Even so, she is quite easy to distract with anything that she is interested in, and can very quickly become engrossed in something that fascinates her.

Bio: Aeka's past is unknown to all, and is very much a mystery to Aeka, herself. She only remembers small pieces of her own history, but not enough to piece together a coherent story. However, the highly advanced technology she is equipped with for the stabilization of her psychic abilities does not currently exist on the Earth. There have been some suggestions that she is some manner of time traveler, but this is still merely speculation. Regardless, Aeka is eager to discover her own past (or future) and learn who and what she truly is.

Power 1: Aeka is a psychic of nearly transcendent power. Telepathy, clairsentience, psychokinesis, psychoportation, metacreativity, metapsionics and psychometabolism are all at her disposal with far greater intensity than possessed by the average psychic. She passively generates a psychic barrier around herself to ward off attacks on her body or mind without any special effort on her own part.

Power 2: Aeka is a technopath, capable of inherently understanding, manipulating and effortlessly creating technology. In the lattermost case, her creations are far more advanced than what can be created with modern technology. She can also easily integrate technology with her own body, allowing her to cybernetically augment herself at will.

Power 3: By releasing the untamed psychic power normally locked inside her, Aeka can take on monstrous forms of pure thought with nigh-unlimited psychic power. Nicknames for these states include "Nightmare Form" and "Lunatic Mode." However, in exchange for this power, Aeka sacrifices her humanity as her though processes become utterly alien and indecipherable by any other than herself.

Ability: Aeka is a certifiable genius with a photographic memory and calculative abilities that rival a supercomputer.

Markings: There are ports for cybertech on Aeka's upper back, cranium and the backs of her hands.

Name: Jedidiah Hastings.
Nickname: Freak, or Jed.
Gender: Male
Age: 15
Species: Human...mostly.
Appearance:
He has an all black tail hiding under the coat.

Personality: Jedidiah is very hostile towards people, especially when they pick fun at him. Give him some time to warm up to you, and the rudeness and bitterness vanish. He gets scared when the attention is on him, and he is very susceptible to anxiety attack because of this fear. Because of his childhood, he seems to not trust many people, but the people he does trust seem to have a very strong bond with him. He rarely laughs and is very gloomy most days. Catch him on a good day, and you might see a smile...might.

Bio: For as long as Jed could remember, he was the target of bullies everywhere. Kids that didn't even go to his school bullied him when passing him in the streets. There was no escaping this horrible life of his. Every kid in the city knew about Jedidiah, and they knew him as "The weirdo with the tail." The name haunted him forever, and still does because of the long furry tail sticking out from his lower back. He moved almost twice a year because of his dad's work, which resulted in Jedidiah going to a different school every year. Since his mom had a stable job as a nurse, her schedule never changed. She worked 9am until 11pm, weekdays, and on the weekends she was out with her friends. There was never a day where Jed's mom was home, or his dad. Which made communicating with them impossible.

After years of torture from Bullies in every town, Jedidiah decided he was going to put a stop to it. His mom wasn't there to tell through rough times, and his father was working all day long. He decided he was going to stand up to a bully at school one day. The bully pushed Jed's buttons till he couldn't handle it anymore, Jed was no match for the bully and his brains couldn't help him either, Jedidiah couldn't think of anything, anything but scream. That was the only thought that came to mind, so he pursued it. Jedidiah screamed at the top of his lungs and he didn't hold back, his mind went blank for a few seconds and went Jed collected himself again he opened his eyes to horror. the dismembered bodies of three bullies cluttered the thin hallway. Jedidiah did this with his power, a power eve Jed didn't know he had. He could control blood with his mind.

Like all big stories this got out, but it was contained by the town council so the town could maintain it's, "Lovely community" reputation. Jedidiah couldn't tell his parents because they were never home, so he told the principal and he dealt with the situation. The principal transfered Jed to Final Academy, a place where mythical creatures alike could roam in harmony. To Jedidiah, this sounded like heaven. He was all to pumped to move school's, especially to one where he wouldn't be an outcast.

Power 1: Blood Manipulation. Through his own training, he is able to control his own blood in any way he wants. He is also able to control other's blood in it is exposed to oxygen.
Power 2: Audiokinesis. The ability to lower, heighten, and control sound waves. Not much training in this field, but he is able to shoot sound waves by yelling really loudly.
Power 3: N/a
Markings: Has tons of small scars that dot his body from bullies shoving him around and beating him up..
Family: only has his mom & dad.
Friends: None yet, but secretly willing to make some.
