[OOC] CoM: City of Mutants

first those that might read this
its an super human based rp inspired by Marvel's X-men and Spiderman, however this rp in all ways is a standalone and has no real connections to Marvel in on its own, making it a pure super human group
However some crossover stuff like the X-men and spiderman can appear in certain missions

this RP is centered around missions, meaning that where we start with one story setting, it will end but the rp will continue with the next mission.
I already have a large amount of missions planned, but if people wish to include new ones, say some that are centered around their char or if you have an idea in general, you are free to PM me about it ^^
the missions I have planned do end up in a story line including some timeskips at some points.

if taking a mutant body (example: beast) remember you lose your human shape for a good part, so unless you have a way to cover yourself you'll stand out a lot, BUT the upside, Mutant body counts as 1 power but can have multiple sub powers that can be listed under mutant body, breaking the max 5 powers somewhat.

IMPORTANT: taking a omega class (lvl5) mutant means it has to have a drawback, the stronger the mutant, or control of the power the bigger the drawback (example's: iceman: cant use his powers fully but when he learned to take out a bit more he lost his human shape, Prometheus: cant control his powers at all, ??? (dont know the name): has multiple kinetic powers and became schizophrenic due to it, each mind controlled 1 power
extra examples: (own creations: Drake lost his human shape but also his powers have a mind of its own, giving into impulse or emotions and his powers mind take over as a bloodthirsty sentient monstrous beast (a omega lvl monster is not good to be/ have anywhere).
for later there is a character that need to use his powers almost nonstop or it will corrupt his body and mind, making his go bezurk)

I will also make an Wiki for this (as this is an rp I have always tried over and over again, but also as this rp will become rather large to be supported just in an OOC thread as the story go's on)

also you can make a char here, meaning its a char solely for this site and all, or you can make a char on the wiki (do add your user name and the respective canon so we know what belongs to who and for where, you can also if you like make a char that is multi-universal or donated (more on this will come i the guide section of the main page: Canon guide)

Gender: Male
Appearance: he has black hair with a golden glow, his eyes change color based on his emotions (green = happy, red = angry, blue = sad, yellow = everything else), he is 1.80M, athletic build, and has lost his human shape: his ears have a thick layer of dark green scales on the top and bottom sides with a small little horn sticking out at the ends, the back and center parts are still normal human, his front teeth between the corner teeth are still normal but every other teeth have become more carnivores, his tong can also split at the tip, he has wings sticking out of his back, also dark green scales and a yellow membrane, on his spine there are a line of long spikes that usually are laying flat on his back, he can also fold his wings over his body to make it look like he has some weird leather cloak, he has a blue gem like stone on the back of his right hand and his nails are pointy and ivory colored (same go's for his feet nails)
he only has pants on, no shoes or shirt due to his mutation
Personality: Drake is calm and collect, not because this is who he is but because he is forced to be like this, he can never enjoy emotions, leaving his eyes the only way to tell how he feels, he can never act on impulse either
due to this he seems distant and uncaring to and about other people, yet he cares a lot, so much that he is locking away his real self beyond what is needed to protect others from what is inside him
he can still fall in love, he cant feel happiness about it himself, but still he can fall in love and have green eyes all the time due to it, but being afraid of hurting others and locking away his feeling has made him a tough catch (appearing distant, being afraid of hurting and preventing himself of feeling anything)

Mutant level: Omega (5) (cost of power level: lose of human shape due to power of his only real power leaking trough to his human shape, second personality of a wild monstrous beast hidden inside him (see others))
power list:
-Omega level Megamorph: Golden dragon (able to turn into a golden dragon (snake like body, with humanoid arms and legs and a set of wings, around 90 meters long), having scales that can even take nuke, a regeneration that can regrow a lost limb in a matter of seconds (also heals normal wounds and makes him immune to poisons/ toxics and sickness in dragon state), strength fitting his size, speed fitting his snake based body build, able to breath fire and lightning, able to create strong gusts of wind using his wings, strong senses

due to being an omega class megamorph, the power has started to leak into his human shape, giving him a permenant half dragon like body, but also gives access to a few of his megamorph based abilitys but in much lesser power:
-high regeneration (fast healing of wounds (from seconds to minutes depending on the wound), able to regrow lost limbs in a couple of minutes to hours (depending on the wound), resistant and fast recovery to poisons, toxics and sickness (in order to kill him you need to kill him in 1 hit in the brain of heart, otherwise he'll live)
-flame thrower (able to shoot flames from his hands, and even fireballs)
-thunder waves (able to release a blast of lightning from any part of his body, can be charged to very powerful allround blast)
-mutant body (most changes has been told in appearance, but he has gotten some other ability's trough this:
--flight (wings duh XD )
--sharp senses (increased his sense of smell, sight, hearing)
--body up (increase all physical ability's to very high human ability's (close to what a human can maximum can reach if training one trait for a long time))
--claws
--changeable skeleton (having a few additional joints here and there he can change his stance into a much more feral shape, even grow a tail when he takes this shape, she stance also effects his powers:
---increases his speed to superhuman levels where the human eye cant see him when he runs in a straight line
---he can breath fire and lightning instead of the controlled version of his human shape, losing the delicate control but increases the raw power a lot
(noticeable points of this change:
his feet take on a more dinosauric stance, his hand really look like claws, he has the tail, his wings stand upright and spread even more, the back spikes turn upright, the face cheek muscles tighten and retract leaving a good feral look on his face while showing the fangs)
the downside to this skeleton stance is that the inner beast takes over quickly when using it (as its the beasts stance)

history/ Bio: Drake was born and raised in a small neighborhood with 1 important rule: NO MUTANTS, all mutants that have been found their have been executed and the ones connected to this mutant has been tortured as punishment.
aside having seen 1 or 2 events where a mutant got lost and entered the place, as one family that was found out to have a mutant family member, the way this place takes action, he had a good childhood and loving parents.
but all changed at the age of 16: at school he got into a fight and was stabbed while protecting a friend, yet the wound healed in matter of seconds.
he was already afraid on how things may end up, but it was a stealthy power, as long that he would not get wounded things might go well, he might be able to talk to his parents about it, but...
on his way home he got attacked again, this time it was a girl that had forced him into a relationship, he had gotten out but she could not accept that, stalking him and apparently she had recently awakened her powers as well, as she was like a living humanoid fireball.
he had a hard time until: when she got him head on in a ocean of flames his body reacted and suddenly started to grow bigger, the wounds of the fire disappeared and his skin turned golden, in a matter of a few seconds he had become a giant dragon and with a blast of wind by his wings he was able to extinguish her flames forcing her to run
it took him a little while before he was able to return to his human shape only to find out, he lost it, he could not fully return to normal and traits of his dragon shape extended even in his human shape.
from then he heard sounds of people running, he looked and with his heighten senses he was able to clearly see people from his neighborhood running with guns and more, so he did the only thing he could do, run
all he could hope for was that his face was not recognized, but he has felt his home without being able to say a word as to why, his parents would worry, but if he were to come back, check up on them and explain what happened, he would only endanger them.
he had no other choice but to leave his live behind for ever, never able to come back, never able to live as peaceful as he had, never able to be who he once was.
he dropped his own name, never to use it again and picked a new one, Drake, he felt it fitted seeing he was a dragon now.

he wondered around for a while, not knowing what to do, he lived mostly due to him still having his old bank card, he even hoped that his parents would look for him so he left a note at one shop that was willing to help him a bit, but he dropped the card as well when his bank was empty enough that he could not even by 1 drink
he was not sure if something happened, if his parents hated him now or if they simply had not gotten to the point of putting money on it yet, he did not want to take the risk, so he did what he had to, burned the card into a crisp.
during this time of wondering he came across some other mutants that has lost their homes, the idea came to form a group for mutants like them, and so the founders of CoM came.
they found a old hidden military base in a forest, it was clear on the state and things inside that no one outside them knew of its existence so they started to rebuild and redecorate it, what went easy due to 3 of the members, Drake, Mech and Rain
the 4e member was the lookout during all this.
but it happened when Drake was out for a walk.
he came across some mutant haters, they first started to call him names, but he did not care, he started to attack and while it agitated him, he could ignore it, then when they got annoyed at his lack of responce they started to threaten his family, even trough these guys would not know his family, he could not let this past, he got angry, real angry, so angry that his eyes did not just turn to the color red, no they started to glow bright red.
then everything went black.
by the time he woke up he had a weird stance, the area was badly damaged and blood and bodyparts were everywhere, he had a weird taste in his mouth and when he spit it out an eyeball rolled n the floor.
he was shocked, he had an eyeball in his mouth, a weird stance he did not even know he could take and all this damage and death...
did he do this?, what happened??
he asked one of his friends, mech to see of there were any camera's there and wanted to see what happened.
but he was not prepared for what he noticed, he could see himself taking on that wierd stance and growing a tail, smoke coming from his mouth, what after what it was that took hold of him roared loud enough that the audio tech of the camera broke, it let lose a ocean of flames from his mouth, then is started to move faster then the camera could see, people were getting slaughtered, even people that just walk into this chaos, even small children, even pets, everything that moved, and it ended with a breath of lightning that broke the camera's optic sensor as well
it was Rain that was able to come up with an idea, he had heard of other omega class mutants and had experience with things that had 2 minds, fighting each other.
it took 3 more rampages for Drake to figure out the triggers, first the stance, second emotions and last impulsive acts
each could be experienced for a limit before the beasts takes over, but he had felt that after the first outbreak the limit on emotions and impulse had gotten a lot shorter, forcing him to lean how to control and suppress it all
he had already left everything he used to be behind and now he was forced to lock away all that was left.

others: the beast, it always has the second stance, when taking on that stance it awakens as well, it also waits for a moment when Drake is mentally open, emotions or sudden acts of impulse, it is much stronger then Drake in terms of speed, instinct, pure raw elemental power while it has all his other traits as well, it is a wild animal like mind with a sense of sentient thinking, meaning it can understand human tong, it can react to a degree (it cannot speak), this means it lacks the concepts of special tricks and Technics during a fight but it has no need for it anyway, it has nothing more then pure blood lust as a drive and kills everything on sight, it has the instincts to know when it is against an 'food' that is strong and can in those cases turn megamorph as well with no care for where he is
this beast has made his afraid of getting close to others as he fears he might lose it at any time so to prevent any random activations he has locked his emotions away, but still fears it might not be enough...

Personality: An complete idiot most of the time with a lot of references to things like starwars and things, yet he comes up for his friends and is very reliable, he has a lot of knowledge about computers and machines and address all guy's with 'Dude'

-Particle Mechamorph (able to transform any body part into mechanical parts in a way similar to the way transformers transform in the RL movies)
-Full mechamorph (able to transform entire body into a mech, gundam, droid, tank and more)

-mental linkup (transforming a part into a cable or USB or anything else, he can actually link his mind into the computer/ system he has plugged into, also increased his knowledge on how machines work and giving him more insight to build new things that the world has yet to see)
-repair gear (able to transform body parts into any type of tools for repairs, building things, and so on)

history/ Bio: Mech's parents divorced when he was really young and for good reasons, his mother hated him from birth and abused him, his father could not stand it so he left, taking Mike with him.
yet when he was 16 he got his first girlfriend, but she was manipulative to the core, his father noticed this, warned Mike of it time and time again, the girl got wind of this, started to put Mike against his father, damaged his father's car on purpose and much more
in the end Mike had a big fight with his father and got kicked out.
he had no place to go during this time and went to his mother and her even more aggressive boyfriend
at one point he was on MSN and talked about how he hated her, she however had been reading his conversation history and found this, she started to hit him and screaming, he however being older now tried to stand up for himself, he did not care for her hitting and let her continue, but he did opened his mouth, and it was not even that bad, he just said he had his rights to have an opinion and that she cant just go and break his privacy by reading his conversation history, but this only called the boyfriend of his mother into the room as he grabbed him by his trout, lifting him from the ground and chocking him.
His mother did nothing but laugh
at one point he blacked out and woke up in the car, they were on the highway, he had no idea where he was, when they noticed he was awake they pulled over on the emergency lane and kicked him out of the car there and drove away.

he had to find his way back to some known place and during this time came across his powers, soon afterwards he met Drake and followed him while exploring what he could do with his powers.
he is one of CoM's founders and helped a lot with building and expending the base, he was also the one that found it when he hacked into a government computer to delete his real existence from their systems, sending a message to his parents in his own way, there was a small lost file, seems like it had at one point crashed and while it was in the systems, it was not to be found by normal ways of looking on the comp, only by fusing his mind with the computer was he able to find such a lost file telling of the base.
others: he has build all vehicles they have and all other tech's in the base have all been made by him

Personality: trough he likes to live a simple live, playing video games, he also has a big interest in the military, guns, swords and so on.
he is someone you will hardly ever see what is on his mind and acts cool most of the time, for a part this is because he is not seeing himself as someone that fits in a group for mutants as he is officially a normal human and his powers comes from an outside source that can leave him if it wants to.

status: kind of a anti-villain, doing good things with the group but not caring much about how its done.

-he has a symbiotic alien that grants him his powers: enhanced strength, if the symbiot is active he cant even get wounded as he becomes rubbery to the core, he can reshape parts of his body into claws, swords and such, also he can extend his arms by stretching it out, more ability's may be included but he has not learned these yet
the Symbiot has some weaknesses trough, it cant take fire, fearing it, it cant stand loud sounds, very powerful light or high levels of heat are also a problem.

equipment: sniper rifle and magnum's hidden somewhere inside the symbiot matter inside his body
history/ Bio: Rain had been a mere human with no mutant blood in him until a year ago, a meteor hit the campsite he was in (trying to experience military camping/ survival).
he was lucky to have been out of the site during the crash but when he came to look he was assaulted by a Black mass from out of the meteor.
the 2 had been fighting each other mentally for control of the body, in the end Rain won, he promised the Symbiot that it could stay with him so it could live but in return he the symbiot had to share its powers with him.

at one time he came across drake and mech while looking for a home as he did not felt like he fitted in with the normal humans and joined him and mech.
others: due to the long fight he had with the symbiot his mind has been trained to be very strong, even able to fight of an telepath's attack to a degree, and if he would lose to this said telepath then the Symbiot will start fighting the by then tired telepath

-360 degree sight (able to look around the mutant as if he has eyes in the back of his head or any other part of the head for that matter)
-Movement sight (able to see every type of movement no matter how fast this is)
-immune to illusions
-Far Sight (able to see to 5 KM's in 1 direction)
-perfect sight (cannot be blinded, can see trough bright light or darkness, can see trough gas and smoke, any situation known that will not force eyes to close (like sand in the eyes) will not effect this persons sight)

history/ Bio: Inari adopted by a Japanese family when he was 1, they lived on a solo island with no other people
here Inari was trained to become a ninja as his new parents were the last of a clan.
he was doing great and even more when his eyes started to change, at first glance it looked like they just turned orange with a glow, but soon Inari found that he could see trough flash grenades, smokescreens, darkness of the night and so on
It did not take long before he learned that he could see trough fake things, was able to see very far away and see trough any type of movements.
at times he was even able to suddenly see when something was coming from behind.
he was seen as a prodigy, a legend, and that for someone that was not even from japanese blood, his parents did not know about mutants having been isolating them self for so long.
it was when his 'mother' suddenly got pregnant despite not being able to, his new younger brother was even more of a talent and he also had powers from the day he was born.
at first things went all good between them, but as they got older the younger brother took all of his parents attention, Inari did not really care about that until..
the two were send out against each other to see who will be the true successor, the loser had to die.
officially the 2 could have been equal, it was true that his younger brother was more powerful then Inari, but he lacked experience, as that Inari had learned to fully utilize his eye's, including seeing 360 degree's and even using the far sight trough it.
But Inari's 'parents' wanted their own flesh to win and started to act behind the shadows, helping their real son by telling him what to do and set up traps and more
Inari was able to see it all trough far sight and having learned how to read lips, it was soon clear enough, he was meant to lose, but he did not want to die, so he did the next best thing, he ran...

in the outside world he learned about mutants and then he met Mech.
the 2 slowly became friends as Mech found him awesome and Inari could learn a lot, in the end Mech told him about the idea of building a group for those like them, Inari wanted to help if he could join, what was more then fine, making him the last of the founders of CoM
others: he has been trained with a lot of ninja based knowledge, so he can use his equipment, get around easily trough well everything and so on

Personality: very kind and caring person, addictive personality, overly polite (in dutch 'U' is a very polite thing to say compared to 'jij' or 'je', normally you say this to someone you dont know and is older then you and such, but Runa would even say 'U' to little children and close friends).

-Aqua Kinesis (able to fully control any mass of water in the direct area (not what is in the air or in other living things)
-water density (controlling water density to create defensive things)
-water clot (encasing wounds with the water she controls she can stop bleeding, but not heal the wound its just to prevent bleeding out)

history/ Bio: she used to work in a water plant in order to fund her medical study, her boss knew of her power and was happy to have her, he first did not want to hire her due to being just 14, but then she showed him her power by lifting the man's coffee from his cup and he could see how she could be of so much use in this workplace.
after one and a half year, just a week before she could turn 16 disaster strike as a mutant started to go wild in the water plant causing the main pipe, that was build to never break as it would drown the entire work place in 30 second, to break as he ripped it lose with nothing more then his legs as he kicked it.
the water rushed trough the building, eating every person in range as no one could escaped from this.
It was then that Runa showed her powers to her co'workers for the first time, she never had told any of them as some of them were human purists and others were no fans.
still she used it in order to stop the flow of water and take out the ones that were already inside saving everyone as they had time to run away.
it was when she was sure that they were all save that she moved the water under her feet, increasing the density so she could surf on it to get away her self
once outside she was not greeted as the one that had saved them, but as the one that did all this, even the ones that had seen the other mutant attack the pipe blamed her.
she ran away, it was all she could do, it was that or get a gunshot in her body as a few purists were getting their guns from their cars
she could not afford to continue her education and ended up being rescued by Drake when one of the purist from her work found her a few months later
he offered a save home and she accepted
others: she is a very good medic, she was a natural in the training and have been able to learn a lot thanks to Mech downloading all medical data in the world and setting in into a teaching machine.

Appearance: 5’6, 130 , raven black hair with crimson red streaks, Wears black leather jacket , usually a white t-shirt under it. You hardly ever see out of her jeans and black combat boots, but can take on any appearance.

(preferred appearance as she has lost her human appearance when her powers came in, she hardly ever show's her real appearance so you can keep this as her sole appearance for now)

history/ Bio: Janet is a mutant shapeshifter with the ability to psionically shift the formation of her biological cells at will to change her appearance and thereby assume the form of other humans and animals. She can also alter her voice to duplicate exactly that of another person. Originally, it was clearly stated that Janet’s powers were limited to appearances only; she could not assume the powers of the people she morphed into or alter her body to adapt to different situations. Additionally she could not change her overall body mass when taking on the appearance of a person larger or smaller, but thanks to subsequent enhancements she has stated that her body mass is not fixed and can change when she does. Her body is not limited to purely organic appearances: She has the ability to create the appearance of clothes and other materials out of her own body, including items such as glasses, zippers, identity cards, handbags and even test tubes. As a shape-shifter, Janet is able to constantly alter and rejuvenate her body's cells and thereby retain her youthful appearance.

At a very young age Janet was able to take on any shape of a person or animal. Her parents fear that her mutant powers would be found out and they would all be killed. Keeping on the move, while trying to hide Janet. Until they heard of Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters.Janet didn’t really want to make their daughter live there but thought for her safety it would be best for her. Thought she miss parent, Janet made friends quickly and learned how to use her powers. For a while she worked with X-men and CoM from time to time. Now she a wondering soul trying find a place to call home. Helping those who may need help.
