Personality: shes serious, short tempered , is aggressive and has a knack for getting into fights, mischievous, clever, is good with technology, sarcastic, stubborn, loyal and can be cold. She doesn't tend to make to many she friends but the ones she does make she is determined to keep. While being aggressive and sometimes rude or sarcastic, she is a nice person. She only picks fights with good reason and frowns on bullying and violence for no reason. She was raised around cops and does have pretty good enabling her to be able to shoot an arrow, or a gun efficiently.
Talent: can form abilities if she thinks hard about them, but they can only last about half an hour max, they take alot of energy from her and with every ability she thinks of she aylso acquires it weakness for the time she has it.

I believe it is because of the lack of length and capitalisation in your character sheet. If this were in the free section, it would probably be fine, but generally speaking, casual roleplays require at least a paragraph and better presentation. Appearance: Randal stands at an even 5'10” with a slender build, preferring to clothe himself in obnoxiously oversized hoodies, jeans, and a trashed pair of black Nikes. His medium length, dirty blonde hair is usually slicked backward, he sports a 5 o'clock shadow, and he has his right eyebrow pierced. His hands and forearms are coated in burn related scars.

Power: Energy Manipulation. Randal has the ability to collect and regurgitate energy he absorbs from various forms of matter. If he had a solid understanding of his ability, he would be able to expend energy in massive, bone shattering blasts. He'd be able to boil someone alive by shooting energy into their blood. He'd be able to tear through any substance as if it was a stick of butter. Thankfully (or unfortunately, depending on how you look at it), Randal doesn't understand his ability in the slightest. Without any sort of provocation, Randal's hands and forearms have, in the past, spontaneously burst into flames. For this reason, Randal has firmly refused to experiment and learn more about his abilities in the past. However, since entering the academy, the mystery surrounding his power has become more enticing than terrifying.

Shane's power is the ability to make pictures that come to life. They are like computers, in that they are stupid, but reliable and quick learners. He's able to directly control them with his mind, if they are in front of him, and they are able to (to his knowledge) work at an arbitrary distance from himself. So far, the maximum detail he has been able to produce is what he can put down onto paper, though the fact that he can directly control the pigments, like a mind-linked photoshop, means that he can produce pictures far above his skill level. Unfortunately, so far he can only get 2d geometric figures to move in a way that makes sense. If he were to make something like the Mona Lisa, the best he would be able to get it to do would be to move the different layers around, not realistic human movements, and definitely not 3d rendering of, say, the back of her head as she turned around, unless he specifically spent the time to animate that one movement.
His paintings have very limited interaction with the real world. They cannot to his knowledge exert any kind of real world force, and even though to his knowledge they are very capable of observing the world, for example auditory, visual, tactile, acceleration, and anything else that's not based on chemical signals (smell and taste, for example), actually interacting with that data is, so far, beyond him. Because they're so stupid, whenever they find something interesting, they don't know it. His attempts at extracting visual data have either been garbled or miserable failures.
The pictures are able to move along surfaces that he has not directly interacted with personally. Three variable that affect their speed is interaction with him, whether they've been there, presence of media, and the texture of the surface. They suffer no penalty when he has interacted with the surface. They slow down moving across places they haven't been before, and when a surface is very rough, they slow down even more. Unless they are facing a shortage of ink, and don't have enough of a single color to spread over the entire picture, they can usually change color with no penalty. Most of the time, crossing a gap is nigh impossible for them to accomplish, unless they have enough mass to physically cross the space.
His inseparable companion is a thick 8 by 5 inch 500 page spiral sketchbook, that contains his library and workstation for new pictures. Folded up into pockets are various sizes of poster, for the times when he needs extra space.

As of now, Shane's power actually seems like it'd be really terrifying.

The trick is abstraction. He doesn't have the ability to bring pictures to life, instead, he has the power to connect thin films to a powerful analog computer and telekinetic mobility system. Though he's only thought of the paintball one at the moment, being wrapped up in other things.

Awesome. Will you be introducing the staff right away, or are you planning on leaving a bit of time for players to introduce the remaining characters and finish their current topics?

One staff member of particular importance will be introduced, and I'll point out some NPC students who are open game to be interacted with. Still, players are welcome and encouraged to introduce their characters in whatever manner they wish.
