Name: Salacia but when she was found on the beach as a child they called her Sirena Age:20 Race: Atlantean Short History: Salacia was well loved by all during her time in Atlantis and was friends with everyone. She could brighten anyone's day with just a smile and would never harm anything. She was not only the pride and joy of her parents, but the pride and joy of the kingdom. Her happy world was turned inside out though the day Atlantis was attacked by outsiders. She watched in horror as her grandmother was taken by the Crystal and Atlantis was sunk beneath the surface to protect its people. At first things seemed fine after that for a while. But, as more time wore on, the more the people in Atlantis began to blame the royal family for the sinking of Atlantis. Finally, with tensions at an all time high, the people revolted, killing her parents. No one though seemed to have the guts to kill the young girl that had always been the joy of the kingdom, and instead, had a younger Atlantean boy erase her memories and send her to the surface. She was found within hours, washed up on a beach and taken to one of the human hospitals where they had decided she must have come from a shipwreck and washed up on shore, loosing her memories from the traumatic event. They called her Sirena and went her into foster care. For some time there was a period where people asked to study her. After all, how many girls had white hair like hers? Not many. But, in those times, they could not figure out why she was so different. As time passed, they gave up on studying her, but if it was something Sirena had learned from those people wanting to study her, it was that she was different. So different that it scared many people to the point no one ever wanted to really be around her and thus, she held everyone at arms length, for fear of being discriminated against. When she was thirteen though, in one of her foster homes, she met a teenage boy named Finnie, or as she called him Fin. He had some anger problems, but between her quiet nature and him venting to her knowing she wouldn't say anything bad about it, they got rather close to the point they actually did start talking to one another. Soon Fin's anger problems melted away in her presence and she become more open to talking. They decided and made sure everyone knew they wouldn't be apart after that. If they were separated, they would just sneak off together anyway, so the people finally learned to stick them in the same homes. Now, with her being twenty and him twenty two, the two live together in a rented house in a good sized city, the brother and sister trying to make it on their own. Nehili "Lee" (Ni-hill-Lee) Physically 25 | Mixed Atlantean | Royal Guard Nihili was born to an Atlanean adviser and his slave woman, thus making their daughter an illegitimate child. Although she has the status of a bastard, Nihili was greatly loved by both of her parents and she quickly became the apple of her father's eye. In the eyes of the Atlanteans she was everything and anything but perfect. She was flawed due to her mixed heritage and her unfortunate status. Most ignored the girl and instead they turned their affections to her younger half-brothers. Nihili was young when Atlantis sunk below the depths of the ocean, her mother and a half-brother were among the many casualties that resulted from the jealousy of the gods. In the years following the sinking she developed a strong bond with her only remaining brother Sador. Her father continued his role as adviser to the king until the rebellion against the royals. Her father had been imprisoned, as he was one of the few to wholeheartedly supported the previous king. Nihili and Sador were given positions as royal guards after the execution of the former king and queen and their supporters. Over the years Sador became the Head of the Royal Guard while Nihili was assigned to the adopted Prince. Physical description (picture will come soon) Nihili is on the short end, standing roughly 5'0 but don't mistake her small height as an easy target. She's quite skilled when it comes to fighting. Due to her mixed heritage her eyes are a light amber brown and her skin is significantly lighter than that of a full blooded Atlanean. She does possess the white hair of her father's people. Her hair is cut short, falling to her shoulders save for one braided lock of hair that falls to her elbows. She wears simple hair ornaments made of bone. Nihili wears a dark green top with a dark blue wrap skirt, bracelets made of gold on each wrist and two thick anklets. Nihili's crystal is on a strip of dark colored string around her neck. She does not wear shoes. She has several facial tattoos and one on her left arm. --- Nerek (Ryhmes with Derek) Physically 25 | Atlantean | Prince Nerek was born into a clan that specialized in the medical field. They were a large clan with a monopoly on the healing business and eventually they branched out into other areas as well. It was Nerek's father who had learned to use the crystal in order to eradicate unwanted memories. His father used that ability to help those suffering from traumatic events. Nerek was taught this art before he was able to walk. He was a natural. During the sinking of Atlantis Nerek was the only survivor of his family. He spent weeks in and out of consciousness for the first year after the sinking. When he woke up and was able to stay conscious he was placed under the care of one of the king's advisers. He was eventually adopted by one of the lesser noble families and was raised in a semi-wealthy background up until the time of the rebellion. Nerek was given the task to wire the memories of the young princess as he was the only one in the kingdom to be able to do it. After the rebellion his adopted mother and father became the new rulers of Atlantis, thus elevating his status to that of a prince. He was given a guard named Nihili and the two became close. Physical description (picture will come soon) Nerek is significantly taller than his guard, standing around 6'2. Often he pokes fun at her for being so small. He has the classic Atlantean features - dark skin, dark blue eyes and snow white hair. His hair is cropped short on one side and on the other it has been allowed to grow long enough to put into a ponytail. He wears a simple dark blue robe with a lighter blue sash around his waist. Nerek has many tattoos. He has a total of four on his face, three on each arm and leg and two on the backs of his hands.
