# Opening Story
“Ill break you! The light can not disperse the shadows! I am the shadows!”
A bolt of pitch black energy flew from the tip of Morganthes hand as Seth raised his wand in front of him, the tip glowed a dark red as he caught the blast. Sparks of black fire blasted everywhere as Seth gritted his teeth blocking the powerful attack. Seth slowly pulled his arms forward as the weight of the shadow magic was almost too strong for him to move. Pointing his wand forward sweat beat down his head as he slowly removed one of his hands from his wand, the moment he released his hand he felt a crack in his arm as the stream of shadow match nearly broke not only his arm but his grip. Putting his hand forward he concentrated his energy into his hand as it glowed a deep red outline that engulfed his entire hand.
“Efreet Lord of Fire I summon you!”
The ground beneath Seth rippled violently as the cracked black marble beneath his foot turned into a vortex of red spirals. Out of the center red mist careened out with a hiss as it quickly took the form of a bright red genie holding a huge scimitar with fire covering its edges.
“Your precious fire lord can not save you now you foolish boy! You die here!”
Morganthe screamed furiously as she raised one of her spider like limbs and shot another bolt of shadow magic towards Efreet.
“Efreet use fire shield!”
Efreet made a deep grunt as he put his sword forward, with a quick succession of spins a shield of pure fire surrounded Efreet and Seth not only blocking the shadow attack to Efreet but also cutting off the attack on Seth at the same time. The moment the connection from the shadow magic attack was broken Seth fell down to one knee as his wand hand felt like it had been completely broken. Looking down he saw the tips of his fingers and parts of his arm covered in black like burns. Seth let his arm drop as his wand fell from his hand as the black magic spread infecting his arm even more. He looked up as he heard a laugh, and evil laugh from across the room.
“Do you understand now you young fool, you are not some Child of prophecy or light, no light can protect you from the deadly shadow magic. Ambrose has mislead you, gave you hope where there was none. You dabble in shadow magic yourself but its true power eludes your feeble mind. Did you think that learning a couple spells of shadow would give you the power to defeat me!?”
Seth grimaced at the pain in his arm more then the words spoken, lowering his good hand he kept his connection with Efreet intact as he slowly put his hand over his wand hand which was now pitch black. Spreading his fingers his hand glowed red, transferring some of his magic he did a weak healing spell as his arm glowed a bright green. There was a searing pain as he did this, he shook as the pain started to subside and his could move his fingers a little again. He could not heal such a wound but he could stop the spread and give himself motor function back. Slowing lowering his other hand he picked up his wand with his black hand and stood back up. The fire shield lowered and disappeared as Morganthe and her spider like body came back into view.
“Why do you fight back!? Do you not see that you are destined to die foolish boy!? Like the one you loved you will soon feel the cold embrace of the darkness as it drains the life from your body, and sends you into the abyss!”
“I won't quit... its not just my life on the line... its everyone’s in this spiral who calls out for peace in the darkness! You have destroyed innocent life for your sick dreams, you have destroyed a peaceful world just to make a point! I will fight for not only them but the person you ripped from my arms! I will never quit Morganthe not until your dead!”
As Seth spoke these words fire engulfed his body as if reacting to his anger, raising his wand up he pointed the tip at Morganthe as it glowed a bright golden color. Then golden flames of pure light shot out from his wand, a mass of fire light went straight for Morganthe like a beam of light from the sun.
“You stupid boy! Die!”
Morganthe raised her hand as she shot out a blast of shadow magic, the beam of light and shadow struck each other as a shock wave of energy cracked the ground at the point of impact. Seth felt the impact as it struck his arm, but he didn't care about the pain anymore as he saw Rin's face in his mind as she smiled at him an looked at him with her beautiful green eye's.
_“We will always be together right?”_
_“You know it Rin, when this is all over you an me can finally live a life that is not filled with shadows and fear. I will put and end to this evil once and for all, not just for us but for everyone.”_
_Rin smiled at these words as she leaned in and kissed Seth on the cheek. She playfully pushed him back as she started to run. Seth laughed as he began to chase her down the sidewalk towards the Golem Tower._
Seth saw the memory in his eye's as if it only happened yesterday as tears slowly fell down his cheeks as he looked at Morganthe. He put his other hand over his wand hand as he felt the muscles tearing in his arm, holding wand steady with his good hand. Keeping the beam of light strong he again saw Rin in his mind again.
_”Help me Seth... please...”_
_Seth slowly reached out his hand towards Rin, his body was weak as he lay on the ground, in front of him Rin hung over a pit of shadow magic just barely hanging on. Seth crawled forward weakly as Morganthe laughed in the background somewhere. Seth tried to get up but he fell back to the ground in a slump as he reached out his hand again, Rin's hand was just at his finger tips, with another nudge forward he grabbed her hand weakly. Looking up he saw the fear in Rin's eye's as he desperately grabbed at his hand. Seth's eye's wavered a bit as the pain was nearly too much to bare, he pulled back trying to help Rin over the edge. But he felt her grip slipping, he could hear her screams but they sounds so far away. Catching her eye's one last time, he saw the tears roll down her cheeks before she fell into the inky blackness._
Seth refocused his eye's as Morganthe came back into view, he could still feel Rin's grip loosen before she fell, as the tears streamed down his cheeks he heard Rin's voice telling him she loved him. As the beams still fought one another, bolts of black light shot around the room cracking into the walls breaking away the old brick.
“Rin...RIn... RIN!”
Seth screamed out her name as his eye's came alive like fiery embers, his mouth shook from anger as Efreet disappeared the connection broken between them. Putting all his magical energy into his arms Seth screamed as his body glowed a bright shade of white. His beam of magic intensified as it cracked into Morganthes shadow beam pushing it back fast.
“What! Impossible! This can not be! You can not overpower me I am the queen of shadow!”
Seth gritted his teeth hard enough that they cracked, Morganthe increased her power as the entire room was being destroyed around them. Seth shook hard as he brought his leg up and took a step forward pushing Morganthe back towards the hole that lead down to the spiky depths below. Seth took another step pushing her back again as she tried to stop his advance.
“You...will...DIE!!!!!”
Seth screamed like a man possessed as he drew all the magic energy in his body and put it into his attack pushing Morganthe's shadow stream back even more. As Seth looked on he saw the panic in Morganthes eye's as she tried desperately to push forward but she could not.
“You killed her... you MONSTER!!!!”
Seth took another step forward as Morganthe was now near the edge of the hole. Seth felt his energy draining but he didn't care, he would take Morganthe with him if he was to die. He pushed forward one more time as Morganthe now had no more room to go back any further. Her eye's screamed desperation as Seth glared at her with tear filled eye's.
“You killed her, you killed her to weaken me... but you failed, my pain makes me strong! An now... your going to know what it feels like to have your life ripped away from you!!!! You will know the horror of death!”
Seth drew the last of his energy in his body, and in one large blast he let it all go as Morganthes beam of shadow magic was obliterated. The light energy struck Morganthe like a sword as it impaled her body going through completely. Morganthes eye's became wide as she looked down at the beam impaling her chest. She shakily looked back up as Seth caught her eye's, and saw the fear in her.
“This is for Rin, you took her from me, and now... I am gonna take your life... from YOU!”
Seth pushed forward one last time as Morganthe was pushed out of the hole. Seth released his beam of light as Morganthe fell out of the hole behind her and time seemed to slow down as she fell out of the hole and disappeared into the darkness below.
_An so it was, the Human Wizard from earth, the child of prophecy, the Harbinger of light fulfilled his destiny an banished evil from the spiral. Though he faced many enemies and insurmountable evil, the child of light lite up the darkness and once again shined light upon the spiral, a light even brighter then it had ever been before. In the years that followed many alliances were formed throughout the spiral through admiration and respect of the actions the young wizard. The spiral finally found peace after many years of turmoil and strife. Wizard City continued to train young wizards, wizards who aspired to be like the lone wizard who had risked it all so that they may live. As for the child of light, it is said that after his job was done he disappeared into the spiral where he was never seen again but always remembered for the sacrifices he made..._
### Story inspired heavily by Wizards 101
Hello!
I am currently seeking a female partner to get this story up and running. The story is heavily in line with Wizards 101 a kid friendly game you can find on the internet. However it will heavily differentiate from the game itself in terms of the mechanics such as dueling, story line, etc. Which is why this story is inspired by the game in a big way. The roleplay is basically going to be about a new prophecy, a new evil that is going to threaten the spiral. Seth the Child of light who banished evil when he defeated Morganthe is now grown up, and it had been ten years since he saved the spiral and has not been seen since. The story is going to revolve around the new person of prophecy, the female character. The female character is going to be Rin, the same Rin whom Seth has thought had died many years ago. Basically Rin is now living on earth, and mysteriously she is alive and well but remembers nothing of Seth, the spiral or that she was once a student of wizard city. Rin is in danger and Seth is summoned under false pretenses to go save her and bring her to Wizard City. The story will heavily be about trying to remind Rin who she is to make her remember who she is, and find the truth of what really happened all those years ago and then help her to vanquish the new evil that threatens the spiral.
Who I am looking for is someone who has knowledge of the game it would make it a lot easier in most respects however I am not restricting it just to people who have played it. So if your interested in this RP and have never played the game feel free to send me a message.
