Coming of Age

Here's an RP which mixes fantasy, growth, and romance (but within reasonable boundaries). This one takes place in a distant continent on another world, aptly named Other Earth, a planet of magic and great diversity. On this world there is a vast desert continent inhabited by dragon-people known as dracons. The dracons have established many cities and in them and in the arid countryside, many temples. The largest of these temples are known as the Great Temples, entire communities unto themselves. Not only do they perform religious functions, but these temples conceive, hatch, and raise the next generation of youth, even as most dracon do not come from such a cloistered background. The dracons themselves are humanoid in shape, with dragon features: a head with a snout and fangs, two horns, a tail, clawed hands and feet, scaly skin, but notably, no wings. They can breathe a weak acid, but it is mostly reserved for emergencies. They dress according to their gender, females using only what is needed to cover their private areas (yes, they nurse their young), while adult males dress much like humans, save for footwear, which dracons never use. Such clothing is restricted at the temple until they are adults, as everything is shared in common. They live in dorms, they eat together, take classes together, train together, and rarely leave the walls of the temple complex. If you want to play a character with a different dress code, fine, just keep in mind that others might comment on it. Like if a hobbit was wearing shoes. But for these characters, all that is about to change. They have come of age, which is 18 in this case. Now, they have the option of staying in the temple or leaving it behind forever. At this point, every character will have learned something, so a CS should look something like this: Name: Gender: Age: Appearance: Personality: Skills: As this is a PG-13 RP, details of affairs and the like are best left implied or offscreen entirely. One detail which may be of importance is that the characters raised at the temple do not know who their parents are, and have been raised by the priests and priestesses communally. Their eggs were laid by females known as heirodules. Without getting into too much detail, those females live at the temple with the main purpose to breed, laying eggs in a communal nest. They are NOT whores, so please do not attempt such a thing in the game. The characters have had a good education and have led a crowded but sheltered life inside the temple walls. While they were encouraged to see each other as brother and sister in a metaphoric sense, they can tell who is actually related by scent, they know who not to pair up with. Male dracons are generally larger than humans, while females are smaller than the males, but are about human-sized. Male dracons have skin of one color, while females have a main skin color and a lighter underbelly and underside (palms, soles, etc). They have a triangular tongue and have three clawed finger plus a thumb on each hand, plus three clawed toes and a spur on each foot. Common skin colors include brown, red, green, and pink (that last one for females). Common eye colors include red, yellow, blue, and green. Other colors are fine too. That is basically it. This temple is in the middle of a desert, a bit like an odd sort of monastic community, although it has connections with the outside world, mostly to trade for things they need.
