So, I'm looking for someone with a sci fi interest as big as mine. I have two plots brainstormed but if you have ideas I'd love to hear them, lemme know if you like either of the ideas.
Gamma Mutants
In the year 2076 cosmetic surgery almost becomes obsolete as the result of a new cosmetic treatment called "gamma treatment" and was very successful. This new cosmetic treatment involved injecting a person with small amounts of nuclear waste and with very complex machinery, could modify the body the way the person wanted. From a nose thought to be too big, to an elderly person want to look 20 again, any cosmetic treatment someone wanted, it was possible with this new treatment.
Being that this new treatment involved gamma rays, naturally there would be criticism and concern over it. Despite that though there were no major health effects discovered. That was until 7 years later in 2083 when it was discovered that this new treatment was cancer causing which was expected, but what wasn't expected was that it also, in some cases, made a person immune to cancer as well as giving them bodily mutations ranging from fire resistant skin to x-ray vision. Everyone who got the treatment were reimbursed what they paid for it and we're given an anecdote for their mutations while others decided to keep their powers.
There's not really a goal of this rp, just how these mutants live everyday with their powers, I prefer to let adventures happen as the rp goes along. This rp can be one on one or a group rp, no preference, but as long as you post consistently and are legitimately interested or lemme know if you quit this one as I don't like being left hanging.
Solution Negative
In the year 2073 the earth has become very polluted with recycling at an all time high. Earth in the next few decades has predicted to become unlivable. The scientists of earth has come up with an idea that would move all of the earths population and creatures to a new found galaxy with a ton of asteroids bigger than earth. The project's name was "Ultimate Go Green" and it began immediately.
The humans had sent ships with scientists and engineers to construct giant domes that would be big enough to fit entire countries in. The first step was to make these places livable with things such as oxygen. The next step was to move The humans and creatures of earth to these massive asteroids. Unfortunately five years into the project as the countries of earth had started to move their cities and people to the asteroids, debates began about territory and things like that which eventually turned into war.
Project Ultimate Go Green had come to a halt leaving most humans still on earth with a ton of uninhabited domes and many people living on the asteroids waiting and hoping their loved ones are safe on earth.
For this rp I was thinking the same thing, that it could be how our characters live their lives everyday in this project gone wrong. Or we could make it so that our characters become heros and help the earth somehow. These are just general ideas, lemme know if these interest you or you have your own ideas, thanks for reading!
