Hayamoto Hattori

Class
Assassin

Sub-Class
Jailor

Weapons:
- The Blade of Amaburi - Secondary weapon which is a dagger at about a foot and a half long. Personal favorite of Hattori despite the fact he doesn't use it too often.
- Dragon Storm Fog - A clay pot smoke bombs that also produce a lout noise and bright flash when smashed against the ground.
- Black Iron Chained Kunai - Main weapon which is a throwing kunai with a chain on the end with its base in Hattori's sleeve. This is what Hattori uses as his primary damage dealer even though his knife does more. He keeps several of these hidden away and uses them from everything ranging from pulling enemies closer to making a quick escape.

Abilities:
Shadow Walker (Passive) - If Hattori doesn't move for a short amount of time, he will blend in with the shadows, making his presence unknown to anyone who walks by. Although he can move around, if he attacks or uses an ability,
Archipelago Bombs - Hattori throws a string of explosives connected by a string like a medival carpet bomb. They can either be normal black powder bombs or his flash bombs.
Wave Motion Chains - Hattori shoots his chains into and enemy and with a huge amount of strength, he shakes the chain hard enough to sent the enemy flying back before quickly dashing up to them and stabbing them with his knife
Banzai - Hattori uses his chains like a sling-shot to sent himself flying towards a group of enemies and cuts them all as he flies past.
Bladestorm - Hattori's "final", all of his chained kunai are unleashed as he spins around in a literal ball of sharp. Good luck trying to survive this.

National Name:
Yamatihai Bokura no Hastuni (Imperial Realm of Yamatai.)

National History:

WIP

Race:

Tall and well-built, the people of Yamatai range from fair skin to slightly tanned. The most common hair color is black and other darker shades of brown and grey with streaks of dark violet, navy blue or crimson also being common. Black and brown eyes are common with violet, while uncommon, is not unheard of. They often mess up foreign languages but are a fairly reserved and modest culture although can become very aggressive and war-like if riled up sufficiently, which at the current time they are.

Government

The government is headed by a Emperor who the eldest child in the Imperial Family, who claims a lineage starting with the gods. This results in girls occasionally taking the throne. The Emperor's word is final in most cases with hims having the ultimate authority. However, the Emperor is not always "on duty" thus most of the time domestic cases are handled by the Imperial Court which consists of officials from the various "domains" of the Realm.

The biggest policies of the current government is isolationism, industrialism, nationalism that stress the conduct of Ancient Yamatai, having even changed the national anthem to reflect that. Propoganda is a very common thing, almost as common as breathing in some cases, however it works as Yamatai is a homogenous population, mostly consisting of humans who are 98% of the population. With Yamatai starting to become more aggressive, it seems that isolationism will soon break away and turn into expansionism and nationalism will become jingoism.

Notable Peoples

Leader: Emperor Shitatsu Shou the Rightous

Minister of Domestic Affairs - Princess Shitatsu Habari
Minister of Culture & Media - Princess Shitatsu Otome
Minister of Research - Crown Prince Shitastsu Isayu
Minister of Education - Prince Shitatsu Naroi
Minister of Intelligence - Prince Shitatsu Juniko
Minister of Industry - Tashinawa Ojinbo
Minister of Military - Ariska Tajima
Minister of Wealth - Taiga Bosani
Minister of Justice - Naomi Nagimashira

Population

Total Pop: 79.3 Million
Humans - 98%
Elves - .9%
Dwarves - .7%
Other - .4%

Religion

Inshingu is the main religion of Yamatai and it is based on the idea that various gods created the world and will appear in front of mortal from time to time based on what that person has done and will receive treatment equal to that. Good people will be blessed with good fortune, bad people be cursed with back fortune, that kind of thing. The Imperial Family claims direct decedent from the King of the Inshingu Gods "Amaburi" with some nobles claiming blood ties to lesser gods. Otherwise, the faith is very close to that of Shintoism.

Economy

Of recent, Yamatai effectively isolated itself from the outside with very little outside trade. It keeps everyone fed and supplied through a strict rationing system. The idea of currency is not heavily embraced because of this but the nation uses coins heavily as currency called "Jin", coming in 10, 50, 100, 500, 1000, 5000, and 10,000 pieces. Less valuable pieces are made of poor quality steel that did not pass the grade required for military standard while more valuable pieces are made of silver and gold. To an outsider, it may seem that Yamatai is in heavy inflation, with things often costing in the hundreds or thousands. This is not the case, Yamatai simply uses large marks for a reason that translates to something like "because we can."

Also due to the push to rapidly develop their military, civilian goods that are not part of the rationing system are often in short supply, with most civilian and light industry converted into heavy, military industry. Same thing goes with research, things that can be directly used in the military are pushed while other research tends to be pushed aside. Both research and industry which is found to be "useful" is subsidized with other, unsubsidized industries told to go and make money.

Tariffs on foreign goods are incredibly high. as part of Yamatai's isolationism. Forgien business are shunned away from trying to set up shop in Yamatai even though it has cheap labor. Refineries, mines, mills and foundries are the most common type of industry, having to pay less taxes and recive more subsideis than other industries.

Rare Resource

Sakurite - A heavy, dense mineral with pink complexion and a very explosive tendency with it often exploding if hit with a pickaxe or something at high velocity, having to be mined with things like chisels or even having to shave it. There are many ways and grade of refining it, some making it more stable, but less useful since it doesn't explode as easily, and other make it even more dangerous, having to be transported in thick-armored trucks.. It is heavily used as an explosive component in things like shells and larger explosive. While it can generate huge amounts of power, it requires a process similar to nuclear fusion, but since that technology hasn't been really researched, Sakurite is still only used as an explosive. People say it also works well as seasoning.

Technology

Yamatai's technology is sort of a very rapidly moderninzing and attempting to surpass other nation's, almost like a Great Leap Forward that works. People are encouraged to work in the industrial feilds or go straight to military. Anything military related can be considered advanced but civilian industries lag behind, being realtively poorer and less sucessful than heavy industry.

Attempting to learn from past mistakes, the government carefully assigns the best educated people into posistion where they thinkg their scinetific knowledge will be best used. Foreign advisors are often hired to further advance their cause. Science was once a feared and hated occupation, but now it seems to be reserved, science only second to military.

Summary: Yamatai's military industry is booming as is their military science but their civilian and light industry suffers due to lack of support.

Military

The Yamatai Military heavily stresses honor and loyalty with its troops, heavily indoctrinating them so they will fight to the death saying "death is only feared by the weak". The branches of the military are the Imperial Yamatai Army (IYA) consisting of all ground forces and the Imperial Yamatai Navy (IYN); the air force is divided between the two of them but for official purposes is called the Imperial Yamatai Air Control (IYAC).

Yamatai's military excels at machine guns/AA guns and shells, having it been a huge focus after a humiliating defeat by the hands of the Yllendthyr Air Force. Overall, many weapons are well balanced with a focus on easy creation and cleaning but are also multi-use, able to take many role should the need arise. Yamatai's artillery, mortar and naval shells are unique in that they utilize naturally explosive Sakurite instead of gunpowder or other explosives. Depending on how it is refined/packed, it can have anywhere between a 30% to 60% larger blast than conventional explosives.

Standard troops will have six months of normal training and indoctrination plus that and additional two months of specialized training should they choose to pick a specialized role. It should be noted that they are given the choice to do so three month into their training so the last three months of normal training blends standard stuff with the basics of the role they picked.

Elite Infantry go through anywhere between a year to a year and a half of brutal training in the harshest locations. JSOIF units are heavily guarded in shadows with very little ever brought to light, even their training is kept a secret from all but the top brass.

Officers are hand picked from normal troops which show good aptitude of tactical sense and troop management who have served for at least year. From that they undergo five months of tactics and strategy with another three months of logistic and army management.

Yamatai infantry is meant to be versatile, able to take on many roles and are trained as such. However, just because a sniper can use a machine gun doesn't mean that he'll use it as well as a trained machine gunner. Armor wise has a similar notation of multi-use, namely in the lighter armored vehicles, while heavier vehicles are more in the "shock and awe" label. Yamatai doesn't use any larger airships or blimps of the sort, using only aircraft that are fast and maneuverable. This means that they tend to be light on armor and heavier aircraft have touchy engines.

HHS Three Mountains

Length-Width-Height
2850m 310m 580m
Class: Battlecruiser
Tonnage: 1,850,000 tonnes.

PRIMARY ARMAMENT:
The Three Mountains is armed with three heavy Wave Motion Cannon batteries. Each battery has three individual cannons which charge up shots in the turret before having the barrels guide and focus the beam to the point where it can punch straight through weaker shield systems. The other weapon systems on board are the mass acceleration canons (glorified railgun same in all aspects except name) mounted towards the front of the ship. The railguns fire a 2 tonne ferric-tungsten round with a depleted uranium core at 3.52 km a second.

The Three Mountain's common tactic is to use the WMC cannons to disable shields before opening up with the MAC guns.

SECONDARY ARMAMENT
Supplementing the anti-ship weaponry on board, the Three Mountains also comes equipped with torpedoes and a missile array. There are 6 launching tubes at the front of the ship, able to use "Lancer" anti-armor rounds and high explosive "Blossom" photon rounds. Missiles are fired from a 16 array missile bay, 6 on each side and 4 on the top. Missiles include high explosive nuclear rounds, EMP rounds and anti-ship fragmentation "Breacher" rounds. The difference between the torpedoes and the missiles is that torpedoes are unguided while missiles are.

There is a notable lack of anti-fighter weapons on the Three Mountains, on board defense total at a pitiful 12 with 6 55mm autocannons and 6 3GW lasers. Advised to deploy it with fighter escort or anti-fighter ship.

ARMOR/SHIELDING:
The Three Mountains has a two layered armor system consisting of 17 meters of solid alloy with a layer of carbon nanotube with spider silk mesh over it. Important areas may have up to another additional 4 meters of armor such as the bridge, engine bays and ammunition storage.

COUNTERMEASURES:
Lacking traditional energy shields, the Three Mountains uses a heat dispersal unit and counter-EMP equipment. As such homing missiles have a harder time finding where the ship is and the ship cannot be shut down through outside means.

In the event of a boarding action, the Three Mountains has internal point-defense turrets to defend against invaders supplimented by blast doors in the corridors which can lock down at a moment's notice.

ENGINES
The ship has one large plasma thruster for propulsion with other large, high efficiency RCS thrusters providing more maneuvering and thrust, making the ship able to do more precise movements compared to siml=ilar ships at the cost at not being able to go as fast as other ships of its class.

It come with a FTL drive, albeit an older prototype that's a bit finicky. No amount of calculations seems to let it go exactly where its supposed to with its end point deviating from a few kilometers to the other side of a planet. Its been affectionately dubbed the "Derp Drive" or "FTDerp Drive"

REACTORS
The Three Mountains has a NRS-6 cold fusion reactor serving as the main power source for on board things like engines, life support and computers. Weapons systems use four less advanced RS-3.3 nuclear reactor for power. Backup generators are modified KSV-1 fusion reactors supplemented by extendable solar panels and high capacity batteries which can power the ship for roughly a week assuming its not fighting.

CREW
6211 crew members
98 pilots with 20 in reserve

32nd Guard Infantry Platoon
33rd Guard Infantry Platoon
108th Royal Armor Battalion

COMPUTER SYSTEMS
The Three Mountains uses three central computers that manage weapons, logistics and crew members. Assisting the computers is the on board AI, Oichi, who does fine tuning for most operations.

FIGHTER AND BOMBER COMPLEMENT:
36 one man Zho-4 Kankori superiority fighters, 14 two man Kai-6 Nanatari interceptors, 20 one man Jun-11s Marung bombers, 24 Jun-14t Heavy Transports.

The Archduchy of Ostvinberg

NATIONAL
-Capital: Lorrhaven
-Government Type: Technocratic Meritocracy
-Currency: Ostvinberg Marks
-Population: 870,120
-Unique Trait #1: Mountain Keep - As much of Ostvinberg is underground and in a mountain, attempting to seige it is an absolutely monstrous task. The location is highly defendable and has many natural and constructed defenses. Additionally, there are an innumerable number of subertainian tunnels which can be used to ferry troops, supplies and lead ambushes from.

-Unique Trait #2: Epic Craftsmen - Ostvinberg boasts the best craftsmen around, not only able to create masterwork items, but an epic city. Intricate stoneworks, colorful jewels and legendary

-Unique Flaw #1:

-Unique Flaw #2

GEOGRAPHICAL

Ostvinberg is a city built into the Valinitine Mountain on the Dragon Spine. The air is cold and the snow is heavy at the peaks and visitors note that for much of the year, its seems to be stuck in an endless winter. However, once you get to the foot of the mountains, there are boreal forests which provide the wood, wild game and crops for the city. As such, many farming villages are situated on these fertile lands (by Ostvinberg's standards anyways).

RACIAL

-Majority Race Description:

A cousin to humans, Homo Fatorious, or "Velfrites" exhibit many traits atypical of that of a bipedal human despite looking similar. The most notable difference between between us and our Velfrite relatives is how sharply bowed back their lower legs are, often giving the appearance of the "spring feet". These feet combined with natural altitude training make the Velfrite incredible runners, some of which are able to out run wild animals.

The second notable difference is in the face of a Velfrite. They are often born with simple geometric markings on their faces, most often cheeks or temples, in various shades of black and grey that seem to get lighter with age. Their hair is another point to mention as "streaks" or "highlights" of certain, vivd colors are often present naturally with males favoring warmer colors and females the opposite. Ironically, the "base" hair color is black or some version of it. A smaller detail to note is that Velfrite facial structures seem to be skinnier and sharper, a trait shared with their ears and is contradicted by small, rounder noses.

While they are no natural masters at arcane arts and magic, they seem to posses a skill with it on level with humans if not slightly higher. While no sound reason has been found behind this gap, its often assumed that the barely noticeable sub-dermal patterns found on the rest of their body, more natural and intricate than the simple geometric marks found on their face, as some correlation. This theory is supported with notes of how these lines "glow" when magic is used in the vicinity of Velfite and how master Velfrite mages emit a halation of light around them.

RELIGION & MAGIC
-State Religion: Valinitism
-Religious Information:

Our divine lord take up no shape of mortal man nor otherworldly beast. Instead, Lord Valinitine is the heart and soul of the towering epic of golems, claiming the Blackiron Mountain as his majestic throne.

Some will say he is weak in comparison to the gods of the Old Way, the man-god Justinin or the Demons of the Red Pantheon, but his can not be further than the truth. He is our godly lord, and we are humble mortal before his power. His shell shields us, his words guide us, his very existence powers our great industry. It as been from his words which we have claimed the title of the most technological race of Avara!

Thus, we are in infinite debt to our Lord Valinitine and us, the Holy Machina Order works to slowly repay the debt as so one day we may join him one day in Raninthian Vale. It is our duty to to serve, protect and tend to Valinitism's needs. Our nation works to rebuild him to his former glory with each passing day, spreading the wealth of technology and advancement to other backwater lands. Valinitine desire nothing but the protection of this world's mortals which he loves and accepts as his own in preparation for the Great Plague. The Holy Machina Order has worked for generations in all levels of society, from charity to administration and from healing to researching; will you accept the blessed mantle of the Order and serve your lord and savior Valinitine as your forefathers have?
Grand Architect Deckon Terahlineare's Speech to the masses in 197 YL

-Religion Demographics:
Valinitism has almost a complete grasp over the nation, being deeply intertwined with the industrial strength of the Union. The heathens who do no follow the teachings of Valinitine are aggressively incited to convert but are otherwise left alone and often pay higher taxes. However, should a disaster occur, the nonbelievers are often scapegoats.

-Holy Sites Under Control:

-Magical Schools and Curriculum: (What forms of magic are common?)

MILITARY

Velfyre feilds an interesting if not unorthodox types of infantry. Melee and close range troops often wear a steel cuirass with a soft leather pad on the inside or a coat of plates over chainmail. Longer ranged units are given lighter armor ranging from hardened gambesons to a straight coat of plates.

The natural physic of Velfirites are not suited for horseback, at least not without extreme training and saddle modification. Thus, the idea of horse riding is an abandoned concept. In its place, various chariots and wagons are used in its place. While slower and less maneuverable, they provide even more explody firy bits to get shot at the enemy.

There is a huge stigma to use "only the most advance technology" in the army, even if older weapons work better. Their hybrid units aren't exceptional at either range or melee, range units are out of the question for anything that move too fast at them and what few true melee units they can have are either too lightly armored for extended fighting or are incredibly expensive and hard to get.

Grand Kingdom of Ostvinberg

Government

The empire is unsurprisingly run by an absolute Kaiser (emperor) or Kaizerin (empress) who controls all major matters of state affairs. In typical fashion, heirs are chosen from a royal dynasty which happens to be the Schwarzhart Dynasty. However, heirs are chosen exclusively by age, meaning that girls can become queens who head the family. When this happens, heir are usually a brother of the queen unless she marries someone of suitable nobility.

In recent years, after protest and reforms, the Reich Administratum was formed as an administrative body to assist and limit the monarch's power. So far its been a good success, each area electing a representative to the court thus getting a somewhat even idea of the opinions of the land while also ensuring the monarch doesn't do anything to rash.

Economy

The Ostvinberg economy is based on a stable but pragmatic industry of mining and metal. The high mountains of the empire are blessed with fruitful deposit of iron and coal, cliffs are adorned with sprinkles of gold and silver. Officials boast that Ostvinberg is the most technologically advanced nation in the world because of its metals and its processing abilities, wether these claims are true or not, ehh.

The nation exports just about anything made of metal or stone and its signature Ostvinberg steel is said to be of the best steel to be found anywhere. Outside of metal products, the kingdom also pumps out fine foodstuffs, exquisite stone and furs and hides. Perhaps one of the largest draw back to living in the mountains is farming. While there are programs and terrance faming techniques in place, Ostvinberg is still very heavily reliant on substance farming, producing only as they need or a tiny bit extra to feed themselves. Along with common foodstuffs, they also import lumber, fabric and occasionally timber.

Military

The Ostvinberg Legion is not to go beat the shit out of someone else, but making sure Ostvinberg doesn't get its shit man handled. The Legion is famous for its fortifications, strong and sturdy as the mountains themselves some say. Supporting this is an excellent network of tunnels and caravans to supply the troops through. However, because of the extra care that is taken in ensuring the safety of these logistics, the Legion as a whole move slowly through territory which isn't controlled by them and lacks the roads and tunnels. But, once they stop somewhere to dig in, they plan to stay; you're going to need a hell of a lot of effort to displace them.

Actual professional army wise, the army is pretty small. Ostvinberg has a unique system where all males have to serve two years in the Landwher. Should they pursue a career in the army, they are put through training and become part of the Bergenwache, a full time professional soldier. Most common weapons to the army is not actually the musket. Because soldiers are expected to be on the defensive, the rifle is a much more common weapon, a slower fire rate is considered an acceptable trade for range and accuracy. The Landwher are expected to to provide sheer weight of fire through the use of carbines and blunderbusses.

Supporting the footmen is an array of the finest artillery the Empire provides. This ranges from normal cannons, howitzers and mortars, to unothrodox and often exclusive rockets, repeating cannons and even mitriltrus guns

As one could expect, cavalry is not a heavy focus for Ostvinberg, but despite this, they field the elite Winged Lancers whose metal wings howl through the battlefield, sending fear into the even the bravest troops.

Ostvinberg has a small, put powerful fleet of steam powered, iron plated warships. Much of its naval power comes from its trade ships which isn't all to useful in a naval battle, but good to trade as one would expect.

Culture

Ostvinberg is a nation of engineers, industrialists and architects, all of them striving to prove themselves in whatever way they can. This competitive nature and run for perfection combined with a refined education system leads to both an intelligent and literate population. While its education system has less philosophical and more pragmatic focus which generally leads to more technological advancements, its still gives enough thinkers to stir trouble up. For the most part, additional bells and whistles are sidelined in society in favor of simpler clothing but every family still has a set of very fancy, ornate clothing, often handed down the generations.

History

In the old times, Ostvinberg was a land shrouded in misty mountain fog who rarely came out of their stone walls except to trade food for metals. Other tribes and hordes have attempted to attack and conquer the lands, only to either freeze to death in the siege or to be slaughtered with unconventional tactics of the people who zealously defended their homes. Even naval invasions where difficult as beaches were often protected and even had rudimentary sea walls in some cases. To this day, only the Norian Empire has ever truly breached the walls of the mountains and conquered Ostvinberg.

Once the Empire began to fall, the great walls of Ostvinberg once again rose, shutting out much of the world. Seeing their parent nation collapse greatly unerved the noblility and royality of Ostvinberg, who to this day looked to a new land which they could run too should the nation suffer the same fate as the Norians.

In modern times, they are much more open then they were previously, open trading and free (if not heavily guarded) borders. However, they still look to the horizon in their ancient goal of hoping to find a new promised land should, a realm reborn.

Territory

The most defining feature of the empire is mountains.

Stratovarius di Valihad

"Everyone wears a mask for so long, they forget what they look like without one."

Name

Stratovarius di Valihad

Age

19

Gender

Male

Social Status

Britannian

Appearance:

Stratovarius is a tall and strapping young man, child of a noble he has the air of sophistication and grace. His white hair shines like silver while his crimson eyes gleam like rubies. His sharp face carries a friendly smile, a charm to all but masks his otherwise dubious nature.

Personality:

A soldier by birth, a rebel by heart, Stratovarius has a very amicable and friendly mask. He's humor is good and is generally a pleasure to be around. He also seems like a run of the mile soldier, taking orders without much hesitation most the time. While he isn't tactical genius level smart, he's intelligent enough to make plans and know what he's doing.

However, given the chance, Stratovarious will venomously denounce the empire and its ways, seeing its ideals of natural selection to be biassed. He believes that while he can change it, he's in no real position to do such a thing after his chance at greatness was swept away, leaving him only the ability to scorn Britannia for as long as he breaths.

History:

Stratovarius was born to a noble family, the House of Valihad. While no royal family, it did well for itself, often able to place its children in high places. Stratovarius himself was the fourth oldest in all of his nine siblings and third to the family name. He had joined the army like his parents and his siblings in hopes of rising through the ranks, but he was assigned to Japan to watch over a local garrason force.

As the wars elsewhere raged on, many of his siblings where killed in the heavy fighting. Stratovarius, like a good Britannian, accepted these losses as a natural part of life, but thankful his youngest siblings where safe at home. Or so he thought.

Other noble families had long looked with envy at the posistions the Valihad family often held and one such family decided to do soemthign to change it. One faithful day, a group of heavily armed gunmen burst into the family estate, overpowered the guards and slaughtered everyone inside. No one was spared as they razed the entire place to the ground to the point not even the ashes would be found. Stratovarius was training to become a commander but was utterly destroyed by the news. Whatever family wasn't killed in fighting, was gunned downed at the family home.

The sole Valihad had completely lost it when he found out it was the rival families who did it but received no support from the courts or anyone else. Stratovarius was even shunned for being weak, forced to watch his prized position given away to some other noble who had "demonstrated strength and traits desirable of leadership". He was even refused access to return home to see what was left of his home. No longer able to comply with the empire's attitude, he renounces the ideology of "survival of the fittest" as there was no way his siblings could have protected themselves from lead bullets. A flame burn inside of him, calling for vengeance which burns the fuel of hatred and disgust, but Stratovarius masked his fears so he could continue to live without inspection. Heir to the family wealth, he swore an oath that he would never forgive the Empire for razing his very past and writing off his emotions as "weakness".

Name: Agent Zhang Sitrung of the People's Republic of Hongmin

Age: 29

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Home: People's Republic of Hongmin (Atlanta Georgia's Chinatown)

Skills:
- Sneak (What else do you learn from pre-war comics and stealth games?)
- Guns ("Power blossoms from the barrel of a gun")
- Speech (He has to spread the revolution some how)
- Medicine (Knows first aid and pre-war military medicine, claims to be able to do a healing ninjistu)
- Repair (Able to maintain rifles and pistols and can also make bladed weapons)
- Melee/Unarmed (Again, look at stealth)
- Higher Endurance, Perception and Agility (Training from a Red Army Spec Ops manual from youth tends to make you good at these things)

Background: To know Zhang's past mean you first must go to the moments leading up to nuclear annihilation. He lived in a town now known as Hongmin, or Red Gate, built upon the ruins of Atlanta's Chinatown from vault dwellers whose ranks were filled with pro-communists and Chinese agents. The people of Hongmin believe that the greed and scourge of Capitalism caused the Resource War and the dropping of the nukes and sees communism as the answer to make the wasteland strong and unified.

To this end, they trained using salvaged copies of Red Army training manuals and whatever oral knowledge had been passed down, supplemented by something new: comics and games. Along side endurance training, they were taught to sneak around based on what a couple of copies of ¡La Fantoma!:Mark of the Rising Sun told them, with marksmanship training came free-running based on what was seen in Oath of Secrets: Shadow Walker. Yes, these communists definitely were not the run-of-the-red-mill communists.

Zhang was a particularly outstanding trainee, having aced nearly all the tests (minus one that involved brahman riding). However, un-stereotypically, he is also bad with numbers, knowing how calculate his caps is about the extent of his abilities and robots are the bane of his existence. Outside of that, he is a good natured person but is fiercely defensive when talking about ideologies. Due to the teachings of communism, he is very willing to share whatever he can with the people around him, hoping they will see the light communism, as that is the reason he has come to the Carolinas; to spread the teachings of Chairman Mao and the glory of the Revolution.

Equipment:
- Salvaged Armored Chinese Stealth Armor - An old suit of Chinese Stealth Suit that has fallen victim to time, the people of Hongmin however have managed to fix it to some degree and add metal plats for extra armor. While the stealth function works, it has a maximum use time of roughly five minutes a day as this is the one part they didn't really know how to fix. Lacks the helmet.

- "Red Orchestra Concerto" - Zhang's personal Chinese Assault Rifle, it has a high rate of fire but due to how it was repaired, it will sometimes make a light "zing" sound and when fired at full automatic, Zhang likes to believe it is like an orchestra.

- Chinese Pistol - Just a normal Chinese Pistol owned by Zhang, repaired by a friend, its nothing to write home about but Zhang has named it "Kekao" meaning "Trustworthy".

- Forge Combat Knife - A hand-made combat knife created by Zhang which he sharpens when he's idling. Hopes to one day replace it with a Chinese Officer's Sword

- Food and Water Rations - A large bag full enough to keep him fed for a week but he often gives shares out to travelers, saying "the Communist Party will always help those in need."

Other:
- He rides a cart pulled by a brahman named "Guanyin" who he primarily uses to carry stuff and travel on when his feet need a break.
- His commanding officer gave him several books to help on his journey, namely a Red Army Training manuals, two issues of ¡La Fantama!: Mark of the Rising Sun and some concept art from Rouge Alert: Disvowed

IGN:
Falehen

Name:
Yang Zitang

Age:
25

Gender:
Male

Personality:
In game, Falehen is something of strict but snarky mentor character, he enjoys helping people learn but has a certain threshold for what he sees as incompetence. He's willing to go over things but if people get sloppy or he has to hold their hand, he gets angry pretty quickly. When his isn't in his teacher mode, Falehen is most snark with varying shades of jest. To players young than him, he uses the term "pupil" or "student" or something the like (especially if they've come to him for something).

In real life, Yang isn't half as strict at leas in matter not related to Elder Tales. He enjoys helping out the poor sod who can't figure out how to do his math homework or gets historical event mixed up. Although being much more amicable in real life, he still has his snark.

Build:
(Explain to me how your character's build works. By this, I mean how it would work in a combat scenario. For example, Krusty of D.D.D uses a Two-Handed Weapon HP Absorption Build)

Spells/Skills:
< *Name of Ability* >
Cooldown: (Short/Medium/Long/Once per fight/Once per day/Any words, not a set amount of time)
[Description of ability, what it does, what it looks like, etc.]

Equipment:
<Shou-Yin's Armored Robes> - A reward of a long quest involving the assisting of a ghostly alchemist seek his peace, the robes are weaved of fine spider silk and armored with <Iron Dragon Scales>. Its actually under leveled for him, its stats are geared towards someone in their high 60's or low 70's. Falehen wears it because he finds it both comfortable and beautiful, giving him a more "mentor" feel according to him. It gives bonuses to alchemy and elemental defense but is weaker in physical defense and special skills.

<Eyepatch of Insight> - A Magical-Class cosmetic item back from when Falehen had started playing Elder Tale and tried to be all edgy and dark. Although he's long past that stage of his life, he still wears the eyepatch out of both laziness and some lingering desires to look badass. Provides a tiny WIS boast due to its low level.

<Heavenly Imperial Jade Pin> - An Artifact-Class trinket obtained through the <Silk Bridge of Heaven> event on Chinese servers. Despite being an event item, its often regarded as a pure cosmetic item as the WIS, INT and defense bonuses are tiny. Regardless, Falehen views it as one of his most prized possessions.

Weapons:
<I'll Meet By Moonlight> - A Phantasmal-Class repeating crossbow, its found only in Chinese servers and is dropped from the raid boss <Moonlit Dragon Yuetian>. It gives bonuses to the <Rapid Shot> skill as well as granting slight homing abilities. In accordance to its name, if the moon is out and visable, the weapon gets a power up to damage and changes the <Rapid Shot> skill into a <Third Burst> skill which allows Falehen to fire a burst of three bolts but negates the repeating crossbow's quick reload time.

<Divination Bone Bolts> - Production-Class bolts, they are crafted from bones of <Ancient Mountain Turtles>, they are sharpened to a deadly point and have a chance to deal additional fire and bleeding damage to the target. Falenhen once attempted to make his own, he ended up with something more like bone powder glued together that fell apart on release.

<Fusang Oracle Round Shield> - A High Production-Class round shield crafted by a friend for Falehen's birthday one year. Beautifully engraved, bevelled and polished to a shine, it shows the work of a high level craftsmen. Even though Falehen doesn't use one handed weapons, he wears it on his back as additional protection after a raid gone wrong that involved a very feisty goblin with a fondness for piggy back rides.

Inventory:
<Ashe Dragon Embers Urn> - An Alchemist-exclusive, Production-class throwing weapon. It is a magical mixture of various flammable ingredients such as Charred Fire Fangs, Lava Gel with Ash Dragon Scales as the main ingredient all mixed and combined before being poured into ceramic urns with string attached. They deal AOE fire damage on impact and have a small chance to "reignite" and cause an additional explosion afterwards.

<People's Bag of the Revolution - One of those strange little propaganda things in a game, the item is also called the "Red Bag" due to both its color scheme and the message it sends. However, its a very good item, able to hold more than a normal <Magical Bag> while also increasing the wearer's speed.

<Seal of Golden Maw> - The seal of the Chinese production guild <Golden Maw>. It is a simple stamp made of jade with the guild's lion head symbol. Its made of a rectangular chunk of jade with two golden bands around it. Its said that this is Falehen's greatest personal object as its the only thing that connects him to the Chinese server he once called home.

<Great Wolf Whistle> - Received as a gift from the <Lelang Wolf Calvary> combat guild after <Golden Maw> did a favor for them, the whistle summons forth one of the <Great Wolves> which the combat is famous for. Falehen affectionately calls his "Mr. Fufu".

Lordavicci

This is an interesting development, no?

Character Theme: Gabriel - March II

Name:
Adam d'Cappello

Age:
24

Gender:
Male

Personality:
Lordavicci can be considered the classy old gentleman scholar. Intelligent, crafty and amicable, he acts friendly and warm to most people and is willing to go out of his way to teach other or pass on some knowledge. He's a fantastic teacher and enjoys a good conversation with others, but he does not enjoy having to constantly repeat himself saying that if people don't listen the second time then clearly they don't care enough about the topic. This does not extend to situations where hearing is difficult of course. Some people might find him a bit arrogant at times with shades of pompous and snarky know-it-all, but he is the person you want to go to if you need answers to questions.

Build:
Lordavicci is primarily a ranged fighter, sniping with his crossbow and staying mobile. When forced into melee, he becomes something more akin of a dodge tank although he prefers not to get so closely acquainted with beasties.

Spells/Skills:
(Use the spell format below. Try not to make too many)

Equipment:
<Noble Great Coat of Agile Insight>
"Rule #1 of being a noble, always stay and look classy"
Production Class
A fancy ass set for fancy ass people, it actually does provide some armor and surprisingly doesn't get in the way despite its appearance. Because of how fancy it looks, it gives the wearer both an INT boost and a WIS boost. Also give a speed boost for reasons.

<Fine White Crafting Gloves>
White colored gloves meant for craftsmen who have to do very precise work
Production Class
Long, white gloves that give bonuses to production subclasses exp gain. Surprisingly warm on cold nights.

<Templar Clerical Boots>
Long

Weapons:
<Lockheart's Will>
"Crossbow of a once great hunter of the most dreaded of beasts, its said Lockheart never missed a shot with his crossbow"
Ancient Class
A power and beautiful crossbow, decorated with fine carving and imprinting as well as some of Lordavicci's own creations. Awarded at the end of a quest called <Blood Born Ritual> and defeating the optional <Bloodied Clerical Beast> boss, the crossbow is actually under leveled for Lordavicci meant for a lvl 70. However, he still uses it since it has high armor penetration and has a weak homing enchantment meaning that more often than not, Lordavicci will hit his target if he aims close enough.

<Refined Bloodied Nomad Sabre>
"And all the Khan's horses and all the Khan's men will cut you to pieces."
[b]A wicked, machete like sabre used by the hordes of the east. Lordavicci has a very deep dislike in it but continues to use it as its the best melee weapon that's been dropped and he doesn't want to buy a new one as he's not about that life. However, it can be seen that Lordavicci has made attempt to improve its appearance, custom engraving and polishing has made it something more fitting for the aesthetic he goes for.

NAME: Edo "Gunrunner" Talvarin
AGE: 29
Gender: Male
HEIGHT: 6 ft 3 in
WEIGHT: 146 lb
EYES: Emerald Green
HAIR: Creamy Coffee Brown
SKIN: Warm Beige
FORCE SENSITIVE: No

STRENGTHS:
  • Reflexive Piloting - Edo, like many Corellians, is a great pilots, able to out maneuver and out run most obstacles. A seasoned smuggler, Edo has outrun space worms and fighters and most things in between during his little adventures across the galaxy.
  • Engineering Genius - Also due to his Corellian blood, Edo is a crafty and handy bastard like all smugglers. His ship is appropriately modified for his line of work and the blaster pistol he uses is his own creation.
  • Gunrunner - After having spent much of his early live working as a courier for underworld gangs, Edo can dash across surfaces and objects as if he could use the force, that said someone who does use the force could easily outrun him.

WEAKNESSES:
  • Infamous - Unfortunately, Edo has met many unsavory character and some of them are just pure salty. Although he has no bounties on his head by cartels and the like, its best for him not to make much of show of himself in public areas.
  • Hallucinogenic - For unknown reasons, most likely due to his clost proximity to spices and other drugs, Edo occasionally either starts hallucinating or having vision. These can range from something comical like him having a debate about politics with a street lamp, to thinking he's being attacked or that the route is clear even though he's in an astroid field.
  • Distrustful - Outside of people he knows personally, Edo doesn't trust strangers or others. Although loyal to friends he already knows, gaining that trust is difficult to say the least.

APPEARANCE:
Edo is a tall and devilishly handsome man by his own words. His face is round with his messy hair brushed over to his right side. Think standard prince charming smuggler looks and you're half way to Edo.

Posessions:
  • Datapad
  • His blaster pistol "Sundance"
  • Rebreather & Mask
  • 500 credits
  • His ship, Pride's End
  • Twi'lik slave/copilot

SHIP: Pride's End

Officially a VSR-96b made by Corellian Engineering Corp, Pride's End has been modified for smuggling by Edo. The floors had compartments for hiding goods and there are several false walls that are actually doors. The engines and hyperdrive have been refitted for more efficient versions with personal touches from Edo. For defense, the Pride's End uses six missile pods with cluster missiles, a dual medium laser gun in the front and another dual medium laser turret in the back.

BIOGRAPHY:
Orphaned at childhood after his Corellian smuggler parents were killed in a deal gone wrong, Edo was left to face the streets of the lower levels of Nar Shaddaa, a dystopian world by every stretch of the imagination. Poverty more common than air, violence more common than clean water and food, to say life was hard on Nar Shaddaa is a great understatement. Hell, even if there was none of that, the political scene on the planet was a mess; it was impossible to tell the difference between a politician and a criminal. Many people of all ages and races flocked to the local criminal syndicates and gangs, at least they had something of a future. Edo and other children were no exception. Even if gutter running was hard and destitute, it sure beat getting scammed and exploited by people on the street which had already scarred young Edo on a physiological level.

First having joined with the Moonblade Gang, Edo was a gutter runner, a glorified delivery boy who ran packages through gang wars and dark alleys. For nearly a decade, until Edo was 14, he had run through just about every corner of Nar Shaddaa both increasing his speed and the value of his packages. Due to the way his assignments lined up, he ended up transporting enough weapons to fill an armory, giving him the alias of "Gunrunner". Although it wasn't a glorious job, and often down right dangerous, Edo's pay and respect grew within the ranks.

This was all fine and dandy until the Hutt Cartel decided to move into the area and came a-calling. Like many of the other gangs, the Moonblades where cut down by the superior troops and mercenaries of the Hutts wiped the floor with whatever resistance the Moonblades could offer. It was in this confusion and chaos that one Edo stole an unoccupied shuttle from the Hutts to try and escape. Despite never having touched the controls of a spacecraft before, his Corellian blood seemed to allow him to seamlessly pilot the craft as it he had been born in it. After giving an hour long chase to the rest of the speeders and shuttles of the Hutt Cartel, they finally caught him, talent was no match for training and experience.

Brought before the leading Hutt of the operation, Zundoro, Edo believed that either he was going to be sold into slavery or killed on the spot. However, to his surprise, Zundoro was impressed at how a young child could outrun his pilots for so long and offered him an opportunity, an offer of becoming a smuggler for him. Edo accepted the offer, half out of fear and panic, half out of hope that maybe he'd get something better than a gutter runner. And better it was.

By the time Edo had 18 years under his belt, he was already one of Zundoro the Hutt's most reliable smugglers, having risen to the level of the pilots who taught him how to fly. And when Edo completed a particularly lucrative contract of spices for his boss, he used some of the money to go by his own ship after asking Zundoro for some extra to help cover the cost as he couldn't pay for the entire thing. And thus, the Pride's End came into Edo's life, of course he needed a copilot for it. Unfortunately he could only find an astromech droid to fill the job, R7-A1. Although not particularly amazing at his job, R7 fulfilled his purpose and was a suitable companion for Edo. After another five years and a number of close calls, Edo had picked up legal trading as both personal side profits and to help cover up his more illicit goods.

And then, he met Ural'fone, a Twi'lek slave girl who had been in a group of slaves Edo was supposed to deliver to a seedy man who dealt in spice production. Immediately having taken a liking to her, Edo bargained with the man and bought the girl for no small sum of credits. Looking back now, Edo didn't know why he took Ural'fone under his arm, officially, she was his slave but it never really felt like that sort of relationship. Perhaps since he saw a co-pilot in her, perhaps he wanted to use her in shadier ways, perhaps he just wanted someone else to talk to besides a droid (R7 was never a good conversationalist). At any rate, Edo taught the Twi'lek the same things he was when he was young and just starting to pilot and eventually, she got good at it so much to the point that R7 was no longer needed. After parting ways with the old droid, he and Ural'fone set course for Coruscant with a load of weapons; only for the Gunrunner to be caught, his prized ship impounded and his co-pilot jailed.
