Fruits Basket? :3

'Ello! Recently, I've been interested in "Fruits Basket", and I hope a lot of you on this site have watched the anime or read the manga! If not, here is the basic summary:

The series tells the story of Tohru Honda, an orphan girl who, after meeting Yuki, Kyo, and Shigure Sohma, learns that twelve members of the Sohma family are possessed by the animals of the Chinese zodiac and are cursed to turn into their animal forms when they are weak, stressed, or when they are embraced by anyone of the opposite sex that is not possessed by a zodiacal spirit. In the anime it is possible to transform through torso contact.

We will not be doing canon, of course, we'll either be doing many years after or before the original story. I would say after. Before we reserve spots and discuss ideas, I just want to have a lot of people's interests. :3 So, post away!

I'd be interested.. Though may I suggest a idea as well? That perhaps they transform in contact as water as well (like Ranma 1/2) to make it harder to not transform? Since this doesn't really need to be canon (especially after the story since *spoiler* curse is broken)

That sounds like a good idea, and I didn't know the curse was broken. ^-^ I couldn't get my hands on the manga, I only watched the anime. However, if they transformed when they came into contact with water, how would they drink? o_o

Well I meant be covered in water. So they would basically get dunked in it. Small contact like drinking and washing hands is fine xD may be a good idea that its only for cold water but hot water they are fine with.

And yeah I watched the anime and read all the manga. You can actually read the manga online.

Oh, haha, my bad. >v< Well, I'll take that idea under consideration! It would prove to be more interesting in the long run, I bet! I just hope more people show interest.. :0 And yes, I should probably read the manga as well. ^^;;

Dont worry, you just need to know the concept of the curse and zodiac. Nothing actual canon will happen.

And yes... you must finish the manga.... its so awesome

I don't really know if I can put forth my interest or not....
Mainly because I don't know much about the RP.
I've watched the anime (ages ago), but how would this pan out?
Would it just be 12~13 characters roaming around randomly, or would their be some sort of plot?

I assume it will be just a slice of life, with 13 people have a highly likely to transform (if we add water to the equation)

Or we could do a different timeline. Maybe in the feudal era..

Probably. Cursed Zodiac members are in the same family. Unless the GM wishes to alter it where it could be anyone
