HULK vs the World: Marvel RP w/stats

This is similar to my DC game w/stats so if anyone is interested in a more Marvel/Avengers themed game let me know! Hulk vs the World would be a bit easier I'd imagine, as we'd only really have the one big enemy [Hulk]. You can reimagine an existing hero like Capt. America or Spiderman or come up with a completely new character to toss into the world of the Marvel Comics heroes. Call it our own little corner of their Multiverse. I'd seriously almost be down for Spiderham, Doop, and Squirrel Girl vs the Hulk. And since this RP isn't at war with Fox the Fantastic 4 and X-Men characters are welcome LOL

Before I go and make a ton of stat cards for this one let's test the water and see if we can get enough people on board to make it interesting. Who wants to kick some big green ass?

Although I hope not too much green ass would get kicked, since I'd be looking to play as the Green Goddess Jennifer 'She-Hulk' Walters.

As far as characters I would be considering: Human Torch, Black Bolt, or Jack o' Lantern...

It would make for some tension, but that's why I had others in mind as well. There's a few 4th and 5th string heroes I'd love to reimagine too so there's always that. A modern Laughing Mask? A new Destroyer with ties to the WWII hero? Oh yeah, I'm into that kinda thing too LOL

No matter what people say it's impossible at this point to create a truly new and unique character. No matter what you come up with it's either a remake of an existing hero, a revival of an old hero or an amalgamation of several different heroes.

Might as well just admit straight off the bat that you're reimagining someone you like and adding your own twists to already existing stories.

I've had original concepts I've tossed around for RP's that I've seen become comics sooner than later just because I only assume great minds think alike. Or somebody at the offices of DC is stalking me online.

Case in point. Before Guildfall I tossed the idea around to Aro for a Justice League 3000 after our most recent Legion of Superheroes game [also set around the year 3000] was dying out. The idea was to take remaining members of Legion and make a new Justice League for the year 3000 with a few reimagined classics like the Flash and Superman. Literally months later DC announces a similar book, no Legion connection, but reimagined classics in a title called... Justice League 3000.

Another example, we spun a more modern Legion game in our 2020 universe [that was 2022 at this point] and it was to be our version of the Guardians of the Galaxy in the DC universe. I made a Green Lantern analog after writing out the Lanterns as not being recognized as an authority in several space sectors, he wore a cool jacket, no mask or GL badge, no ring but still had limited powers. Very Starlord like. What's DC doing in the comics now to Hal Jordan? Oh you know, just making him more like Starlord... hanging around in a cool coat with limited powers, no badge, and no ring.

It's not that nobody can have an original idea or a fresh take on an existing concept, it's just that there are as many others out there with the same influences coming up with the same types of characters and stories.

Just for the record, the DC stat game is off to a tremendous start and people are already leveling up.... and I would STILL be down for this one. This game would have a much smaller time frame. Mostly it's the one big battle with the Hulk, maybe somebody like the Leader afterwards if he's the mastermind. Or maybe somebody else. Depending on interest we could build a game with cannons and originals alike and start smaller on this side of the fence...
