Haut ”Frosty” Frost, Chief of all Wallmenders

Male, 38 Years of Age

Equipment
Corradi Climbing Boots and Gloves
Mk.12 Hybrid Rifle, DMR variant
Fletcher Double Thump Gun

Appearence
Haut is a man that doesn’t have exactly the matching stature of his position, but a reputation that makes up for all that. He stands at 5 feet, 7 inches, or roughly 1.7 meters. HIs body is slightly toned, but nothing that stands out, with scars adorning it all. Even if he dislikes how much it stands out, Haut tends to wear his white Chief's uniform, as it is much cooler than the standard greys and dark colors of the rest of the Wallmenders.

Biography
Haut was raised among one of the more politically important families among Vextrik, next in line to take his father’s sacred seat among the Council, but Haut was destined for other things than his family intended. Once, when he was a young boy, Haut stood beside his father and the Wallmender Chief of the time, watching the ritual of the “Shift Change” as they called it. Men and women of all creeds and races uniformly left the wall, in a ceremony that few got to see, handing off their weapons, and for some, good luck charms and trinkets, to the new set of Wallmenders that were set to take the wall. Ever since that day, Haut had been infatuated with the Wallmenders

Haut studied hard in his histories and sciences, and never slacked in his physical education either, preparing for the day he would be able to call himself a true Wallmender. His peers always questioned his effort that he put forward in his teachings, noting that he had nothing to do but to graduate by the skin of his teeth, and he would be guaranteed a secure job for the rest of his life. That, he announced, was not good enough for him, and he wanted to be more than some lazy politician. He wanted to be the line of protection between Humanity and anything that wished to harm it, not sitting on the council, making decisions for other people that wouldn’t even matter if they all died.

His father wasn’t particularly excited for his son to be a simple Soldier, as he had always planned to give his son his sacred seat on the council. Eventually, after a bit of prodding and pleading, Haut’s father finally gave him his blessing to be a Wallmender, opting instead to pass of his seat for Haut’s newborn sister, Mika.

When he finally became of age, Haut quickly made his way to the office of recruitment, and applied to be a Wallmender. With some good test scores, and a little bit of influence from his politician father, Haut had been accepted to basic training. Now, to work towards achieving his ultimate dream.

The training was hard, drilling day in and day out, practicing scaling the wall, how to do basic first aid and to treat broken bones, loading and loading all the different guns on the wall, training how to be every clan, even if they weren’t going to join them. Once the basics were learned, time for more specialized clan training came. Haut choose to join the famed Eagle clan, putting his smarts and aptitude to work. Also, working with smaller scale and less strength, Metal Monkey and Gunny clans didn’t as well with him. Haut walked the thinnest edges of the walls, practiced marksmanship with marksman rifles and large laser rifle, and acclimated himself to the high peaks that he would utilize during his work as an Eagle.

After many months of grueling training passed, Haut had finally achieved what he always wanted. He could officially call himself a Wallmender, and he had the patches and stripes to prove it. As he began, there was always something new for him to learn about the wall. Where it’s weaknesses were, where he could sit or lay comfortably, which spots had the best visibility through the forest, and which had the best shade from the sun. He served time on the cool, forest wall sections, and served grueling time on the wall sections that were stranded out in the badlands. It was fun at first, but as time went on and years dragged by, going home to a boring city life, and to the wall to more backbreaking work. The respect he received from the citizens became less and less the more he returned home, drawing him back to the wall, who’s tiring work and lack of action pushed him back towards the city. After long, Haut’s life became a drab and depressing, and completely opposite of what he had dreamt of as a kid.

How he became Chief is a blur, to really even Haut himself. The current chief died, and it seemed Haut was the only one willing to take charge of the whole operation. Anything to get off the wall, and away from city.

Other: Haut’s sister, Mika, is currently moving through the political ranks, and is a fairly important person he is pledged to protected.

(Appearance Photo Optional)
Name: Aisha Lariat Smith
Nickname: Ash
Age: 24
Gender: Female
Clan: Metal Monkey
Equipment: Corradi Climbing Gloves, Corradi Climbing Boots, S.I Hybrid Sidearm
Appearance:
Aisha has an extreme case of baby face. Smooth cheeks with little bone definition give her the appearance of a large child. Her height measures at 4”10’ and her weight clocks in at 98 lbs. She has wavy black hair and a dark brown skin tone from a fairly strong genetic Native American ancestry. Her eyes are rounded and the irises are brown. Aisha is flat chested and has a pear-like body shape, giving her a very low center of gravity. Though not typically seen out of work-appropriate attire, her personal wardrobe tends to consist of loose, single-color sweat shirts, and jeans.
Biography:
Aisha was born on August 9th in a home birth. Aisha’s family is somewhat large, consisting of two grandparents, a mother, a father, two brothers, and an aunt all living in the same home. She has positive relationships with her older siblings, though she tends to bicker with them as much as anyone. Both of her parents treated the three children well during their adolescence, giving them ample space and adequate supervision.
While she came from a primarily farming-based family, they were well off monetarily, which allowed her to pursue her interest in technology and mechanics. From as young as age 6, Aisha was known as “the little girl who will take apart your electronics to see what is inside”, if you didn’t keep an eye on her. Aisha’s aunt, a 43 year old woman named Lariat, had been a basic mechanic for some 15 years, and was quick to foster the young girl’s knack for all things machine. With some protest from her mother, Aisha began to apprentice under her during middle school alongside her brother Dylan.
At first, Aisha studied the tractors on her family’s farm and other cultivating tools they used, tinkering with systems and making enhancements where she could. While she often improved the devices, there were a large number of times where her enhancements were negative rather than positive. Over time, she began to work on small creations of her own based on innovative ideas she or her friends had concocted. These projects tended to assist with everyday events, and she was happy to share them with those who were interested.
From then on through 11th grade, Aisha studied anything she could get information on: from radios, to subway systems. It was over the summer before her last year of high school that she took on her first large independent project with Dylan’s assistance. Using only raw materials and tools she had either acquired over the years or borrowed, she constructed an all-terrain vehicle from scratch. To achieve this, she diligently studied some degree of physics, though Dylan’s help was crucial in that field.
Once she was finished with high school, she was quick to study full time under her aunt, focusing entirely on mechanical engineering and apprenticing under any who could teach her. Soon, she was considered one of the better young mechanics in Vextrik. With this proud accomplishment under her belt, she made the decision to join the Wallmenders, and work as a metal monkey among like-minded peers. While the situation may seem bleak, Aisha is often extremely chipper, especially when it regards her work. She tends to be overly-independent, but doesn’t have qualms working with a team as long as no one tries to tell her how to do her job.
In her time with the Wallmenders she’s grown extremely accustomed to scaling the walls, and is almost better at that than she is at walking on flat ground. While conversations with her superiors may be somewhat tense, she gets along well enough with people who are equal to her in ‘rank’, if they can look past her oddities and quirky behavior.
