Hopefully, I think once things start bleeding through. They will start clearing things up and start getting along again.

I think they would, in the same way that Ollie and Meg would get curious. Though if they always had the dreams since they would children, than wouldn't they just figure that everyone had those same dreams?

I think they will. Especially when they realize that their opposite selves get along.

That's a good point! Do you think Meg and Olli would have ever discussed their dreams with each other?

Me too. I have to wonder just what his ex was going to blackmail her for.

Maybe...without saying who they were in their dreams. When they were kids? That would makes sense to why they were so close.

Maybe the girlfriend was jealous of the friendship and told Meg that if she did not stay away she would tell Ollie that Meg had feelings for him? I am not sure if that would push her away or not though... Any other ideas?

I don't think they would fully understand their dreams at such a young age so they wouldn't really talk about who they were rather just the world they lived in. We could even say that Keleth and Zarina did not know each other that well until they were teenagers as well and started branching away from their own species.

While I think that it could work like that though. If she had feelings at the time and didn't want him to know. It wouldn't have to be very long, just long enough for Ollie to feel abandoned by her. Not to mention that his girlfriend would be bad mouthing her in his ear the whole time.Don't you think?

That's true they wouldn't have known each other yet by then so even if they talked about it and who they were, it wouldn't have clicked. I figure by the time they were teenagers they would forget about the other persons name being told. As teens I'm not sure if they would still talk about it much anymore.

I think between Meg ignoring him for a while, and his girlfriend telling him lies about how Meg couldn't stand to be around him anymore that it could work that way perfectly. By the time Meg would want to tell him because she misses her best friend, it would be to late and there would be too big of a rift.

I think it would be more like a childhood thing, they talked about it a lot until they were probably in second or third grade then it just became the thing of the past. So really, them forgetting would be really easy by that point. Not to mention their memories of their "dreams" would be so sketchy when they were young because the worlds would not have been as close as they are now.

Totally, especially if he thought that his girlfriend was Meg's friend. So he would believe whatever she told him Meg said.

True so they likely won't even remember telling each other about the dreams at all than?

What if the girl started hanging out with Meg and pretending to be his friend just to date Ollie? So once they start dating, her goal is to push Meg away? This is sounding a lot like Taylor Swift's song You Belong With Me xD

No not really. Maybe one they start realizing both places are real they will remember. But for now it is more of a childhood fantasy that they have long since forgotten.

Maybe that would also be a way for her to know that Meg has feelings for Ollie. I haven't even decided Ollie's ex's name yet, and I hate this girl!

True, true. I think that it will fun when they realize they knew about them both having other world and forgetting about it.

I do too! Lol. Is Ollie going to be dating her still(maybe even engaged?), or is she long gone?

I think the whole idea of them merging with their other selves is going to be an interesting thing to tangle with! I am just excited all together ^.^

Hmm...I'm not sure. I had thought of her being long gone, but the idea of her still being around is interesting. I think the two of them would be engaged.

It will be, and it will be fun to play around with the other things that come out of the dream world. I'm excited too!! I have started to work on the intro but haven't gotten very far yet.

I kind of like the idea of them being engaged as well. Since there is some romantic feelings, at least on Megs side, doe that mean there there will be any romance for their other halves?

I haven't quite gotten started yet. I am honestly not even sure where to start at the moment :-/

Honestly Ollie has always had feelings for Meg too, which makes what tore them apart even sadder really. Because if she wouldn't have backed off Ollie would have dumped his now fiance. I think we could have them have romance in their other halves that would be kind of sweet really.

I had the same problem too, though I think I'm going to start with Keleth waking up. I'm guessing that he would be a knight to the dragons, though...do you think there is a castle/kingdom? Or do the races just kind of govern themselves?

That does make it sadder! Poor Meg and Ollie. I bet Meg now probably hates his guts because of her broken heart :-/ Are we wanting to develop the romance in the other two or have it there from the start? Personally I am a fan of the building it up, it makes it feel more natural, even if both characters start with feelings for each other.

I think each race should rule themselves so they each have their own set of government, most probably being kings and queens. This way races can be at war and there can be allies and enemies between kingdoms, ect.. Is that kind of what you were picturing?

I figure that is a little bit of the reason the Ollie hates her guts now too. I think that we should develop the romance on the other half. However, I think that they should be already close enough to consider each other friends at least. I agree that it being natural is better.

Yeah that's what I was picturing :) So than should the Dragons and Forest Elves allies?

Poor Meg and Ollie. I agree! I think the friendship should certainly be already established, and maybe a little bit of unexpressed feelings. However, I think things would be much more interesting if their respective races are at war. Put that strain on their friendship because it would be frowned upon?

I think it would be more interesting if they were at war or maybe on opposite ends of the war even if it is not Dragons against Elves.

Hmm the idea of their races being at war would be an interesting twist. So in that case they wouldn't be around each other very much at all then?

I do want to ask something I just thought of. Are Ollie and Meg the only ones having this dream? Or is everyone, they just can't remember it yet?

Maybe not, but they make time to see each other. Maybe go hunting or take refuge in the forest away from all the fighting? That could be how they became friends. They ran into eachother one day in the woods and just found excuses to keep sneaking off together?

I would say no, they are not the only ones. Maybe only a few people have the dreams though and not everyone?

Hunting would work nicely. Seeing that he is a Knight he is kind of forced to do the fighting though. However, I think that would be a perfect time to make them friends. He wouldn't have really wanted to fight Zarina when she is alone and no threat to him. There would be no honor in that. Maybe the war started because they started using pet dragons?

That makes sense. Maybe there are more dreams than theirs for that matter. So this war, I'm guessing it started around the same time Ollie and Meg started fighting?

Maybe he catches her off guard while she is swimming or something else as equally non-threatening. It would give him even more reason not to harm her. Perhaps another reason he is in the forest is because he was sent to find something or someone stolen and is after them. Maybe even Zarina's pet dragon, the dragons could have thought she stole him but instead he chose her. Which would explain the war, because small dragons are choosing to become guardians and companions and the bigger dragons think elves are stealing them?

That could be true. More worlds, we could have fun playing with that! I think the war beginning at that time would work perfectly. Maybe the first small dragon to leave is my girl's dragon because he senses sadness in her and wanted to comfort her? Thus starting the war.
