Like most of the badland towns in Odina, Hollister had grown from a trading post into a small handful of buildings in the dunes, right on the fringes of the protections of society. Not many people stayed long, and those who did served those who didn't. If you were to look at the town from above, it would look like a stout cross with most of the buildings near the center, getting less dense as they got further out. The whole town held about two hundred people and only 84 of them lived there.
Emmanuel sat eagerly at a back table of the Jo Lee Burns Inn on the edge of Hollister. He had been circulating word of gathering a team to search for the the family he saw fall in the mountains. It had been almost a week now, plenty of time for word to get around. All he had to do was wait for people to show up.

Tristan walked through the Hollister market, looking from one small stall to the next he couldn't help but smile. As he looked through the small crowd he knew he probably would not make it out of here much richer, but every little bit counts.

“pardon me” Tristan said as a large man ran into him on the street “I wasn't paying attention to were I was going”.

“Watch it!” The man yelled as he shoved Tristan out of his way. Tristan's smile grew wider as he heard the Man begin haggling with a shifty looking man behind a stall

Pocketing the small sack of money, Tristan slipped into the small in he had heard about. He fought to suppress a giggle as the mans shouting was cut off by the door shutting. Looking through the bar he began moving to the back to the man who seemed to be waiting for something.

“Hello,” he said walking up to the mans table. “Are you the one putting together a team for the star that fell up in the mountains”?

@Norix Emmanuel watched the man approach, taking a drink of his whiskey. He had been expecting a longer wait before someone showed up, but was thankful it wasn't. This man looked like the kind of person who could handle himself, perhaps a little too well for the good of others. Still he wasn't about to turn down someone looking for work on nothing but a hunch. He smiled warmly as the newcomer got to his table.
"Indeed I am." He said, extending a hand. "Emmanuel Goode. You looking to sign on?"

“So long as the pay is fair,” Tristan said grasping Emmanuel hand, “And if the rumors are true I imagine the pay will very good.” He said taking a seat at the table.

Looking at the man before him Tristan could tell he was a man who know how to make money. He just had a look of someone who knew how to find a deal. On any other day this, Emmanuel would be just another target, but if the rumors of the bunker were true Tristan would never have to steal again.

“So tell me, what do you expect to find where this star fell?” Tristan asked with a smile.

Cherry walked through this quaint little town on the look for some type of inn. Jo Lee Burns Inn. Someone was going after that star and she wanted in on the cash. She looked around for someone who knew where the inn was. And old fellow pointed her in the direction and she had no trouble finding her way inside.

She looked around the inner doors and saw a table in the back, two men talked in hushed tones and Cherry waltzed her way across the floor, hoping for the right place.

She stood at the edge of the table, cocked a hip and inquired, "Which one of you is Emmanuel Goode? I've heard some rumors and I've come to see if they're true."

Emmanuel appreciated that the man was a straight to business fellow, but still wanted the chance to pick his head a little, make sure that his intentions were altruistic, or at the very least that he was trustworthy. Before he could get into things he was approached by young Sivinian woman who looked like she meant business. He held out a hand to her in turn and smiled.
"That would be me, little miss. and if you're looking for rumours, you've come to the right spot. I was just about to explain to... uh, sorry I didn't get your name, sir." He looked between the two of them.
"Howsabouts we get introductions out of the way before we get right down into the nitty gritty then?"

Gale happened to be passing by the Inn in the hopes of finding some place to stay. I hope I find my way around soon, he thought, not liking the thought of competing with all the other merchants in the town for the next few days. he just hoped the cost of the Inn wouldn't put him in the hole for his trouble.
He sat down at a table across from Emmanuel and the others, wondering to himself what they were talking about. He'd heard somewhere that a man was putting together a team to find the Bunker; ever since he was little he'd been fascinated by the mythology...or at least...he hoped it wasn't all myth.

@RhineQueen She grasped his hand and immediately knew he was at least an honest man. He had a good strong handshake, and that's really all you need. "My name is Charlotte Hekate, but you can call me Cherry." She adjusted her jacket and sat down next to Emmanuel and motioned to the other young man at the table.

@RhineQueen“Of course... names, I knew i was forgetting something” Tristan laughed lightly. “My name is Tristan Jay, explorer and finder of fortune, and its a pleasure to meet both of you.” He said smiling. Tristan Grabbed a chair turning it around so that he could sit with his arms and head resting on the back of it.

“How much are the drinks here, if you don't mind my asking?” Tristan said looking to Emmanuel and wondering whether his new coin purse had enough to to cover it.

Emmanuel nodded to each of them in turn, pleased that they both seemed to be amicable folks.
"Well drinks here ain't much here. Whiskey's only a few bucks and beers are five, six if you want it cold." He said, waiving a barmaid over. "They also got the best mash potatoes this side of Ol' Sludge. As for matters of myth, we got a biggun on our hands here. You know the old legends that say each nation came from the stars, sent by a god. Well my great granpappy said the gods sent them with a key. A part of their very being. And that when all the keys are assembled at the Bunker it will open and bring forth paradise on Taraham. That's what I'm hoping to find at the star. The key. The bit of god essence that'll crack that sucker wide open."

I was coming into the town of Hollister, looking for the Jo Lee Burns Inn. Eventually finding it, I walked over to a small, very diverse group sitting at a table. Pulling out a chair, I asked, "Which one of you is Emmanuel Goode? And, sorry I'm late, had a little trouble with a small bandit group. And, before you ask, my name's Aiden." Looking closer, I saw that there was an Odinian, looked pretty honest too. There was also another Sheusian, he seemed to be pouring with kindness, although that was just my feelings. The last was a Sivinan, a bit smaller than the rest of us, and had a deadly feel. I wasn't going to be crossing her anytime soon.
