It had been a long year and Elena had been looking forward to this trip for years-ever since she and Sydney first decided on it before they even started going to College. It was going to be the trip of a life-time. a Treat...a reward. An Adventure for the two best friends. With her adoptive parents being busy at work, barely being home Elena didn't even bother telling them about this trip. She didn't see the point in giving away her and Sydney's secret, master plan of a trip they came up when they were younger. She just wanted to have some fun, and get away from Ravenswood for a while. Luckily they were taking Sydney's truck for the trip to Vegas. Knowing her best friend-she would have a lot of bags. Pretty much just like Elena did. With her radio on, she was listening to the Glee Soundtrack as she was packing the last of her things singing along, doing a little dance back and forth between her closet and suitcases which were on the bed..
Footloose, (Woah, oh!) kick off the Sunday shoes
Please, Louise, pull me off of my knees
Jack, get back, come on before we crack
Lose your blues, everybody cut footloose (footloose)
Footloose, kick off the Sunday shoes
Please, Louise, pull me off of my knees
Jack, get back, come on before we crack
Lose your blues,
Everybody cut, everybody cut
Everybody cut, everybody cut Feeling her phone buzzing in her pocket, Elena stopped for a few moments taking out her phone as she noticed text from Sydney. She smiled and texted her back right away;
To: Syd
From: Lena
'Hey Girly. I am almost done. Can't wait to see you soon. I am so excited for this trip :)'
Elena had packed 2 medium duffell bags containing her clothes and many pair of shoes; including 3 sets sport shoes, 3 pair of flat shoes, 2 pair of high-heels, 3 pair of boots and 2 sets of flip-lops. 2 suitcases contained more clothes, her laptop and a few things like books, cd's and 1 small duffell bag packed containing her shampoo, conditioner, shower-gels, perfume, make-up, hairbrush and anything else she owned in her mini bathroom. Closing up her suitcases; Elena carried them downstairs first leaving them standing by the door of her house. Hurrying upstairs; she switched off her music, closing all of her open drawers and closet doors.
Hearing A knock at the door; she glanced out of her window seeing Sydney was already waiting for her outside. Elena put her 3 duffell bags over her shoulder, as she also grabbed her hand-bag which contained her purse, lip-balm and she also set her phone in it as she didn't want it in her pocket the whole ride there. Elena glanced around her room, double checking she had everything she needed. Once she was satisfied she walked out of her room, making her way down the stairs. She grabbed her house keys from the table in the hall way before she opened up the door with a excited smile.
"Heya!" Elena exclaimed happily, in her Italian-American accent as she embraced Sydney in a warm hug.
"I am so ready to get out and about with you. she smiled, she was practically beaming from happiness and excitement about the trip. With Sydney's help...Elena set her bags in the back of the Truck, giggling slightly as she saw how many bags her friend packed too.
"I think, we both packed the same amount of stuff. she grinned smiling, as she locked the front door to her house, once all of her bags were in the car. Putting the house keys in her hand-bag she smiled, now fully ready to go. Hoping in the passenger seat at the front, Elena set her hand bag down by her feet as she buckled up.

Running a hand through his dark Raven hair; Damien smirked at himself in the mirror. He was looking good as always. His icy-blue eyes sparkling with mischief as he was planning on what sort of trouble he would get into. Being a 'Bad Boy' sure had it's perks and fun-danger, girls lusting after him, not to mention the enjoyment of getting high with his best-mate Carter. He loved the thrill of it all. So far, he never got caught with Carter and his goons. The thought made him laugh, with a self-satisfied smirk. They were just too good. Walking out of the bathroom, he headed downstairs and into his little kitchen.
Grabbing a cup, he made himself some coffee and grabbed a banana, pealing back the skin. As he bit into the piece of fruit. He heard the familiar sound of a motor-bike. The familiar hum of the engine, cause the ground beneath his feet to tingle slightly. Walking out of the kitchen, he went to his front door and he stepped out onto the porch where he smirked, as he saw Carter on his motor-bike.
"Hey...how did it go?" he asked, his voice thick and he smirked as he looked at his long term friend. They knew each other since they were little kids. Of course, they grew up together and started to turn to crimes, and living a life of thrills, and fun in their eyes.
"You, want some coffee or something?" he gestured behind him, stepping aside in case Carter wanted to come inside-so they could discuss matters privately. He and Carter worked beside each other a few times-Damien knew his gang...since he had been a part of it for a while now too. He sometimes helped run things, take care of things. Today he was having one of his days off, as he had other matters to attend to that morning. But it all had been taken care of right now, so he was feeling satisfied and happy with the outcome off the money being in his hands, and in a safe place. As he finished off the piece of fruit, he threw the skin in the bin and made himself a black coffee. Leaving Carter to do his own, since Carter knew his kitchen like the back of his hand. He was curious, of Carter's plans and wondered if maybe he should tag along to make it a bit more fun for them both.
They were like brothers at times-always had each other's back when it was needed. Damien never let him down and Carter never let him down either. Damien always thought they made a pretty good team and so they did.
