[OOC] Kobold Roleplay (Open!)

Okay, what kind of skelly (you guys call it a template, I believe? But I'm not sure so I'm using the term I know) do you want?

[Aristocles]

A template or a character sheet. Nothing fancy. We post them in the characters tab. It would include a name, description, short bio, abilities, and maybe a picture.

And others are welcome to join the RP too.

But first, do you need to know what a kobold is?

[Angel Sky]

Oh, I looked it up. I don't know specific details, but I have a basic idea.

[Aristocles]

Yes. Small, bipedal, dragon-like (in this version), communal, and live underground with great mining skills. Dressed a bit like humans, lacking footwear due to their claws. They have tails, but no wings. I have a picture of one in the characters tab.

Sorry I disappeared, I had to do stuff. What kind of specific abilities would usually be found with a kobold?

Well, it varies. They don't have much power. In fact, they are little more than 3 feet tall. They have horns, clawed fingers and toes, a tail. They aren't as strong as a human, but they are good climbers and miners. You saw the picture. Something like this:

I think I'll put together a real character sheet now, rather than just thinking about it. Does it matter on gender/gender pairing to you? Because I'm fine playing any gender and any pairings.

Either gender works, but I don't think a pairing is in the works. Friends is better.

It's just habit to ask because of the other site I'm on.

figment.com it's technically a writing website, but there is a roleplay forum, which is what got me into RPs.

[Aristocles]

Interesting. Looks nice.

So, any ideas for your character. I plan on playing a male. Just keep them as friends. Even if this is clean (and it will be!), it would be awkward at best if they were more than that. I mean, I'm 27. You aren't even 18. You understand why, right?

Yeah, I understand. Mines also male, and though it's not my best work, I have his basics up.

Looks cool. I'll have my character up as soon as I can.

No rush. And if you do look at figment, you might find that some of the people are really picky. I've had someone refuse to have two guys played in a RP, even if they were just being friends. That's why I'm so used to asking, since even If there was no romantic involvement with the characters, there have been people who wouldn't play with same gender characters.

However there are some pretty great people on figment, so don't take that as reason to stay away. Some great RPs take place on figment. It's also a lot less organized than this.

It's fine. Two males who are friends is perfectly decent.
