"A WHAT?" Papyrus asks, in response to Kim's question as she sat down. As she bombarded the duo with questions, Papyrus answers just as soon as they are finished: "WE LIKE TO PRETEND WE HAVE DIGESTIVE SYSTEMS, WE ENJOY ACTING LIKE WE HAVE EXTREMITIES THAT NEED TO BE COVERED, WE DON'T REALLY KNOW, IT'S A LONG STORY, WE LIKE THE COLD, COOLSKELETON95, SPAGHETTI, KETCHUP, A CAR BED, THE SOCK IS SANS'," he continues to answer the seemingly random questions until she is done. "NOW, WOULD YOU LIKE TO PESTER SANS WITH SOME QUE- WHERE DID HE GO?!" Indeed, in the middle of the 'conversation', Sans just up and left.

Kim looked around, getting up from her chair and taking the ax with her. She noticed Sans left a trail, drops of ketchup, that led up to the stairs and to a room. The child looked over the railing and asked, "This is Sans' room, right? I'm guessing it's a yes because of the mess coming out from under the door." Before Papyrus could answer Kim she knocked on Sans' door, then put one of her ears near the door to try listening for anything inside.

She could hear a faint sound of music... The same 22 second song repeating over and over again. "AH, YES. IT'S A MESS IN THERE. TROMBONES, TREADMILLS, SOCKS... DESPICABLE!"

Kim quietly chuckled when she heard the word 'trombone' then asked Papyrus, "Sans is the joker, right? I bet he makes a skele-ton of jokes. He must be really humerous. I think I'm going to break my funny bone from all these jokes. Do I sound like a numbskull to you? I bet you don't have the guts to tell me!" The child smirked at Papyrus then tried to open Sans' door, finding that it's locked from the inside. "You know a way to get into Sans' room, right? That would really sock if you don't. I could also break into his room. I'm bone to be wild!" Kim snickered loudly at her own jokes, waiting for Papyrus to yell at her.

Papyrus glares at Kim, then knocks on the door. "SANS!" Sans then opens it and peeks his head out. He looks at Kim, then says "i gotta socket to ya, those skele-puns were good." He pauses, and a rimshot plays. "now what did you want papyrus?"
"YOU KNOW VERY WELL WHAT I WANT! I WISH FOR YOU TO LET US INTO YOUR ROOM! AND, LATER, I WANT YOU TO KEEP THE HUMAN IN YOUR ROOM BECAUSE I, THE GREAT PAPYRUS, DON'T ALLOW ANY GIRLS IN MY ROOM! OR BOYS! ONLY PAPYRUS IS ALLOWED IN!"
"ok." Sans then closes the door.
"SANS! LET US INSIDE!"
"ok." The door doesn't open. "youre already inside so its alright."
"SANS! I MEANT LET US INTO YOUR ROOM!"
"ok." Sans opens the door, allows Papyrus and Kim inside, then kicks them out two seconds after they walk in. "you didnt say how long."
"SANS! I MEANT LET US STAY IN YOUR ROOM FOR SOME TIME!"
"oh. well why didnt you say so?" Sans then opens the door for the two, and they walk in, the door magically shutting behind them.

Kim tried her best her best not to laugh at Sans joking around with the two, covering her mouth with her free hand, not caring if she was being pulled in and pushed out of the room. She took her hand away from her mouth when they finally stopped inside Sans' room with the door slamming shut behind them. She pointed to certain objects in Sans' room while asking, "Is that a bag of trash on your bed? That's a treadmill, right? Is that a dog sleeping next to a plate of spaghetti?! Why are there socks everywhere when you don't wear any? Kim went back to asking multiple questions until she asked a question about every item in the room, putting her hand down and turning to Sans.

Unlike Papyrus, Sans didn't even answer the questions as they came. He just looked at Kim as she belted out question after question, then says "yep." And then doesn't say anything at all, waiting for Papyrus or Kim to say something. "WELL, COME ALONG NOW SANS! WE NEED TO FIND SOMETHING TO ENTERTAIN THIS CHILD SO THAT SHE STOPS PLAGUING US WITH THESE QUESTIONS!"

The child frowned at the shorter skeleton brother then turned to Papyrus. "TonTon said something about bone training. I want to try that," Kim said, adjusting her right hand so she gripped the middle of the ax handle, readying herself. "We're going outside to do it right? I need a lot of space to move around," the child added while picking up the sleeping dog with her free hand, then went over to the door to wait for someone to open it.

Kaia stumbled along the empty street, her hands stretched out in front of her so she could have some idea of where she was going. Somewhat dirty pieces of cloth were wrapped tightly over her eyes and her pale blond hair that bordered on white hung in tangled strands down her back. A old and dirty cloak was wrapped around her tattered dress as she continued to stumble her way forward.

Undyne listens intently. "Fighting princesses sounds awesome, Alphy! I bet those two would love to come." The fish lady frowns briefly before continuing, "I wonder if they're already occupied. Hey, wait! If they have stuff to do, we could just let them bring whatever it is here! And then we could all watch fighting princesses and fit into everyone's schedule!" She knows her plan is shortsighted and vague, but is too deeply lost in the idea of an anime party. She finishes up the last of the pancakes and hops off the bed to go wash the dishes, muttering something about Papyrus' excitement doing more damage than she had the the apartment so far.

Alphys smiled at Undyne's enthusiam and joined Undyne in washing the dishes - Alphys felt bad about letting Undyne do all the work. There were times when she still felt useless, but Alphys was getting better day by day. Once all the dishes and silverware had been put away, she started prepping for the day, then stood by the door nervously. It was easier than preparing to call someone, but she was still a little anxious about going outside. She reminded herself that was ridiculous - she didn't need to be nervous about talking to her friends. Alphys finally worked up the nerve to say, "Undyne, do you want to come find them with me?"

"AH, YES, BONE TRAINING." Said Papyrus as he walked towards the door, Sans also following. "IT IS A MUST THAT WE GO OUTSIDE! COMMENCE THE CONVENIENTLY PLACED TRANITION!" Then, in a flash, the trio are outside in the snow.

The child quickly followed the two outside into the snow then said, "This area is now the bone zone. Now, are both of you going to compete against me? That would be a bit more... entertaining. Kim had a lot of energy in her at the moment, so she wanted to use as much of it as she could. She stood slightly crouched with her head down and ax ready, prepared to battle the two skeleton brothers.

In the distance Mettaton just got out of a building where she signed stuff for fans, talked to them, and many other things. A few more fans tried to follow her, but she told them she wanted to check on her "human friend". They agreed to leave her to her duties, letting the robot walk back to New Snowdin, when she bumped into a stumbling child along the way. "Oh, I'm sorry darling," Mettaton told the girl, then noticed the bandages wrapped around her head to cover her eyes. "Oh my, are you blind?! Maybe I can help you get around," she suggested, crouching down to talk face to face with the child.

Kaia turned her head to face the female voice. "I-It's fine ma'am." She mumbled, playing with her fingers. When the women offered to help guide Kaia around the albino shook her head furiously. "Y-You don't need to do that ma'am." She stuttered out, meekly.

"OH, WE WOULDN'T HURT A LITTLE GIRL SUCH AS YOURSE- WAHBA BLUE ATTACK!" With that, both of the skelebros unleash a very clearly undodgeable amount of blue bones. Of course, by instinct Kim would just stand still, but of course her soul turns blue and the bros send dozens of bones her way. The fast ones are very clearly Sans' and the slower ones in the shapes of words like 'cool dude' and 'papyrus' are very clearly Papyrus'.

A strange song plays, a mix of two other songs...

"Are you sure, darling? Since you're blind you don't know what's out there. People have told you what happened recently, right?" Mettaton said to the girl, hoping to stay with her a little longer. She hasn't met a blind monster nor a blind human, so she wanted to see if they act any different from a normal sighted being.

Kim made a quiet squeak when her soul unexpectedly turned blue, almost dropping to the ground completely. She used her ax to even her body out, but was still slightly arched towards the ground. "Boo you guys! Mettaton never taught nor told me about this attack," she yelled at them over the music then started to use her right hand to quickly spin the ax, still standing in the same spot. Kim used that keep Sans' attacks from hitting her, the bones bouncing off the ax and back towards the two brothers or knocking the other bones out of the air. Most of Papyrus' attacks fell to pieces by Sans' bones or missed her completely. She didn't see the point of the 'blue attack', her weighed-down soul only slowing her down and making her annoyed.

Kaia shook her head. "N-No ma'am. I haven't...." She mumbled, her thin fingers finding the rough cloth of her tattered dress.

While Sans very easily dodged the attacks, Papyrus was hit multiple times. "SANS, THIS ISN'T WORKING!"
"i think i know that."
"WELL WE HAVE TO DO SOMETHING!"
"like what?"
"UH... YOU KNOW, I HADN'T THOUGHT ABOUT THAT. LET'S DO A SPECIAL ATTACK!"
"didnt that dog take your special attack?"
"OH, RIGHT. LET'S DO AN AWESOME NORMAL ATTACK! ... AGAIN."
And then they do an awesome normal attack that's almost exactly the same as the one before, albeit a lot more intense. In fact, Sans even starts switching Kim between blue and red mode at random intervals.

You know that war that happened a long time ago, the war between the monsters and humans? The barrier that kept them underground broke, and we're now in this area. Most of us are harmless, but there are still certain ones that don't mind doing something bad," Mettaton explained, then just remembered that she never told the girl that she was a robot. "Oh, I forgot to tell you who I am and what I am. So sorry darling. I'm Mettaton, a fabulous television robot that was underground before! Please, don't be afraid, I'm friends with a few humans myself!" she said, proudly putting a hand over her pink chest.

Kim continued spinning her ax, getting pulled up and down due to her soul changing colors. Now more bones were bouncing off her ax and towards the brothers because she was blocking bones that flew towards both her upper body, and her lower body. After a while there was enough space and time for Kim to throw her ax towards Papyrus, him being the one that can't dodge well. She purposely makes sure the ax only hits him with the end of the handle, watching it smack him in the face and bounce off back towards her. Kim grabs the ax from the ground before the rest of the bones fly at her, spinning it once again.

Kaia nodded slightly, remembering the last time she had been in school and in history class. She had listened and hung off the teachers every word about monsters. "It's nice to meet you Ms. Mettaton. I-I'm Kaia." She said, sending a timid little smile in the direction she heard Mettaton's voice coming from. "It's easy to not be afraid of things when you can't see anything." She stated timidly, her hands tugged harder on the tattered edging of her dress.
